"De kamer was ruim en schoon, en de prijs was zeer redelijk. We kwamen om 23:30 uur aan bij het hotel en kregen te horen dat we opgehaald moesten worden van de luchthaven. Er was een klein probleempje onderweg, maar de chauffeur wachtte geduldig op ons op de luchthaven. De service van het hotel was uitstekend en het ontbijt was ook goed. Dankjewel!"

"Ik dacht aanvankelijk dat het slaaphotel zich binnen de universiteit bevond, maar de Universiteit van Toronto zelf heeft geen muren en is volledig open, dus er is geen onverklaarbare superioriteit en veiligheid van het leven op de campus. Ik had de recensies gelezen die zeiden dat de omstandigheden erg slecht waren, dus ik had een psychologische verwachting. Sterker nog, tweepersoonskamer 5062 is nog steeds erg goed, erg ruim, vergelijkbaar met twee eenpersoonskamers samen, met een bed aan elke kant en een kast, tafel, enz. Er is een raam dat een klein stukje open kan. De lange strook naast het raam is waarschijnlijk een ventilatiesysteem, en er komt wind uit. Het bedframe is klein en ondiep, en de matras is relatief dun. Er ligt maar één deken in de kast. 5062 komt alleen uit op het openbare damestoilet, dat ongeveer 10 wastafels, toiletten en douches heeft, en erg schoon is. De kamerindeling is heel anders dan in traditionele Chinese universiteitsslaapzalen. Het is geen gang, maar een beetje als een bijenkorf. Hoe dan ook, het is een heel bijzondere ervaring. De internationale ranglijsten van Tsinghua en Peking University in Canada zijn vergelijkbaar met die van Tsinghua en Peking University. T&T Chinatown ligt relatief dichtbij. De inchecktijd is relatief strikt: 15.00 uur. Omdat het geen hotel is, gaat het er wat langzamer aan toe. Ik heb het meerdere keren gevraagd en ze zeiden dat je kamer nog steeds vies is. Maar wat wil je nog meer voor $100?"

De kamer was goed uitgerust met een wasmachine en droger, oven en fornuis. We waren echter teleurgesteld dat er geen kookgerei of bestek aanwezig was - geen potten, pannen, borden, vorken of lepels. Toen we hiernaar informeerden bij de receptie, kregen we te horen dat deze artikelen niet beschikbaar waren. We waren van plan om zelf te koken, maar moesten het eten uiteindelijk weggooien omdat koken onmogelijk was.
Bovendien zou de algehele hygiëne verbeterd kunnen worden, want er lagen etensresten op de bank."

Het is nu echter erg koud en je kunt nergens heen.

De kop ramen die ik voor het avondeten kocht, kostte $ 7 per stuk.
Hij was duur en smaakte niet lekker, dus ik zou hem niet aanraden."

GGastgebruikerBooked Deluxe King Room with breakfast included. Room was spacious and breakfast was great. Yet the standard of housekeeping was far from satisfactory. First, hairs were found at the wrap for the wire of the hair dryer the moment I checked in, and small scrap of paper was also found on the inside of a towel. Without any notice/sign in the room about the hotel's green housekeeping policy (if any), towels heavily loaded on the hook and hangers in the bathroom were not collected even on day 3 of my stay (there was no bath tub in the room to place used towels). Packs of cotton pads, cotton buds and small soaps were not refilled even when totally used up. Interesting enough, when enquired with front desk if that was the hotel's policy not to so collect the towels and make the refill unless express requests were made, the answer was in the negative.
The charging of tips for breakfast is another interesting issue. My husband stayed at the hotel for 2 nights (with breakfast included) before my arrival. When he checked out, he was asked to pay for tips for 1 breakfast. After clarifying if tips should be paid for 2 breakfasts instead, front desk apologized for having wrongly charged for any tips as all charges should have already been included when making the hotel booking. Yet on our checking out after 5 nights' stay with the hotel, we were told that we had to pay for tips for 2 days' breakfast. We again enquired about the hotel policy and explained that we were willing to pay but wondered why tips weren't charged for all 5 days for our stay. No explanation was given and the staff (probably thought that we did not want to pay) just advised that the charges would be waived.
I have stayed at Park Hyatt Bangkok and the service was excellent. Was thus surprised to had those experience at Park Hyatt Toronto.

GGastgebruikerI stayed at this hotel for one night, and honestly, it turned out to be one of the best short stays I’ve had in a long time. From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations.
The host was absolutely amazing — extremely helpful, responsive, and professional throughout the entire stay. They answered all of my questions quickly, even after I had already checked in, which made the whole experience feel very smooth and stress-free. It’s rare to find that level of attentiveness and genuine care.
The view was simply stunning. I loved the beautiful water view — waking up and seeing the water right outside was such a peaceful and memorable experience. It truly elevated the entire stay.
The unit itself was spotless and exceptionally clean. You can tell that a lot of care goes into maintaining the space. Everything felt fresh, organized, and very well taken care of.
The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, which made it so convenient to prepare our own dinner. Having a proper kitchen setup really makes a difference, especially for a comfortable and relaxed night in.
The location is another huge plus. The area is fantastic — so many restaurants and bars within walking distance, and even grocery stores nearby. Being able to walk everywhere made the stay even more enjoyable and convenient.
Overall, this place is a solid 10/10. I would absolutely stay here again without hesitation and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, well-located place to stay downtown. Truly a five-star experience!

GGastgebruikerI was initially apprehensive about staying in an ”old” hotel, but my worries came to rest. It was similar to a cottage theme with very clean rooms and adequate amentities. Staff were always very friendly, greeting us everytime we leave and return to the hotel, and responds promptly to our housekeeping requests. 10 minutes from the hotel, there is a park with a calming stream, a great place to rest and rewind from the busy city life. Nearest train station is just 5 minutes walk away, and a 30-45 minutes car ride to downtown. Some downsides though, there are no nearby restaurants besides the one in the hotel, and no nearby supermarkets. Utensils were not provided in the room so be prepared to bring your own set. Hotel lifts seem a bit worn out but had not broken down during my stay. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay given the calm surrounding vibes and amazing service. I would consider returning in the future

GGastgebruikerWas very tired wanted a little rest from home, asked for late check out to catch up on sleep. Regular check out is 11:00 AM we were granted 12:30 PM. At 9:15 AM housekeeping was on the floor banging doors very loud, speaking loudly and knocking on doors while guests were not ready to leave. They had a fire drill and that came with audio music like in the room was very loud and unpleasant. First time experiencing this maybe it’s a protocol.

GGastgebruikerThe hotel is ideally situated of the front of the lake with the ferries to the islands just outside. An underground stop is just across the road with links to Union station and elsewhere. There are also a selection of buses that pass and a hop on hop off stop is about 10 mins walk. You can walk most places in central Toronto from hotel if you wish and are happy walking. You can choose which street suits you best on your walk and change route for variation as only a block apart and will all get you to central Toronto. You are maybe about 15 mins from the Blue Jays and CN tower so hotel is in a great location. Billy Bishop airport is about a 20 min walk and would be convenient if you can get flights to or from there to your destination. The communal areas in the hotel look very nice, as is the entrance if being dropped off by car. However there is work going on around the outside of the hotel and if walking to and from the hotel it isn’t so pleasant on the eye. My bedroom was spacious but felt dated and would be nice to see a more updated look. However the view onto the lake more than made up for that minor irritation. The staff were all great and helpful when asked. There was various things going on from regular activities in the leisure area to free ice cream and wine ( not together unfortunately ) and music in the afternoon. The leisure facilities were great with a pool, sauna, steam room and gym as well as an outside area (5th floor) for sitting outside while the kids could play. There was a tennis court and a basket ball hoop. There was also an oppertunity to use cycles and go for a run possibly with a guide. We didn’t eat at the hotel so couldn’t comment but the did have a restaurant on the top of there south tower that would give great views. We did grab a coffee and snack from across the street and would enjoy sitting on the benches just along from the hotel looking into the lake in the morning. All in all one of the older hotels ( I think) in a great location with great views and facilities which met our needs.

GGastgebruikerWhen it's sounds like Radisson Blu, people may think of a 4-star hotel, but my experience with Radisson Blu was not so amused. The miscommunication started since we checked in. On Trip.com, it said we can have a buffet style breakfast with $25 per person, but upon asking them, they said it's a la carte and have to pay at the restaurant. There was no buffet available. They asked me to send an e-mail to confirm is the information about the breakfast is accurate as it mentioned in trip.com sadly no one responded to my e-mail until the hours of breakfast ( 8- 11 am ) and we had not breakfast in the morning.
The room is okay. It is not as exciting as it sounds like Radisson Blu. I had experience staying in Radisson blu in other countries, but the room quality they had there is not even as comparable with Radisson blu toronto downtown. The room in Radisson blu toronto downtown is like the same as some random hotel. The coffee machine was really dirty. When we complained at the front desk, they did not send any replacement. Another thing is that no dental kits were provided as it should provide in all 4 star hotels. Upon requesting at the front desk, they send us dental kits like an hour later.
While checking out the front desk lady, she was a trainee. I showed him the picture of the dirty coffee machine and explained our dissatisfaction. She said she couldn't do any compensation since the room was pre-paid. In return she offered me some bottle of water for our trip 😄. I mean, I don't need a water bottle as compensation. Then she offered me that the parking would be on the house. Now, I am waiting for the return of my $100 security deposit.
Apart from that the location of the hotel is very cool and convenient. Just in the herat of downtown. The CN tower was visible just from the window of our room.
Considering everything it does not meet the standard of a 4-star hotel.

TTati11I was somewhat disappointed by the lack of prior communication regarding the check-in procedure. Upon arrival, we entered the loby area, and we were welcomed by the security officer who explained to contact the company for instructions which included sending photos of my ID along with a separate image of me holding it. After paying a deposit, we were finally granted access to the apartment. This process took nearly an hour, and we were surprised to find that our unit was located on the 48th floor of the tower. While this didn’t bother us, it would have been helpful to know in advance, especially for those who suffer from vertigo.
Reliable Wi-Fi is essential, as a lack of connectivity can be quite problematic. The apartment itself was small and cosy, offering impressive views of the CN Tower. However, upon our arrival, the driver was still drying towels and bedding, which I found to be inappropriate. The small balcony had very dirty glass that had not been cleaned, and the kitchen was not entirely tidy. Additionally, the bedroom carpet was heavily stained, and we were required to remove our shoes. Upon checking out, we had to take out the trash and wash the towels, bedding, and dishes, which consumed another hour of our time. I couldn't help but wonder what the cleaning staff was doing.
It’s worth noting that a deposit was taken, and failure to adhere to the rules would result in its forfeiture. Although I generally avoid complaining, We felt overwhelmed by the expectations, especially after paying for our vacation. Furthermore, if extending the stay for a few additional hours, there is a significant extra charge. The elevators were consistently busy, and during our departure, the security personnel in the concierge area were rather rude, insisting we leave the lobby despite the presence of chairs and tables. We simply wanted to arrange our next ride without having to do so on the street.
Overall, I enjoyed the experience, but the apartment could benefit from more thorough cleaning, and the rules could be more accommodating for guests.
