"I’d recommend this hotel if you have business or errands near the airport. The hotel is very clean, and the shuttle service is convenient and well organized, which makes getting around easy. It’s also quiet, so it’s a good place to rest. That said, I wouldn’t recommend the breakfast — the options are quite limited and not worth it."

"I stayed here for one night while I was in BC on a biz trip before catching my flight home. The location was very convenient—only about a 10-minute drive to the airport—and parking was easy thanks to the large front yard. The place itself was lovely: spotlessly clean, thoughtfully designed, and you could really tell the hosts had put a lot of effort into making it comfortable and welcoming. One highlight for me was the washer/dryer combo. It was exceptionally clean and worked perfectly, which was a huge plus after dealing with some less-than-clean laundry facilities elsewhere during my trip. I didn’t get a chance to use the bathtub, but it looked fantastic and had a really unique design. And I have to mention the little details too—the toilet paper was surprisingly high quality, which genuinely made me go 👌🏽👍🏼lol Although there wasn’t air conditioning, the fan provided was more than enough- blows icy breeze. Overall, I had a very comfortable stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place, especially if you’re looking for somewhere with reasonable price, clean, convenient, and close to the airport."

"River Rock Casino Hotel in Vancouver is een fantastische plek om te verblijven, vooral als je met je gezin reist. Een van de beste dingen is het binnenzwembad met een leuke waterglijbaan waar zowel kinderen als volwassenen van genieten. Er is ook een grote hottub, perfect om te ontspannen na een lange dag. De lobby is prachtig en gastvrij, met watervallen en comfortabele zitjes. De service is uitstekend. Het personeel is vriendelijk, behulpzaam en staat altijd klaar om je te helpen met alles wat je nodig hebt. Vanaf het moment dat je binnenkomt, voel je je goed verzorgd. Het hotel is ook superhandig gelegen, direct naast de SkyTrain, waardoor je gemakkelijk naar het centrum of de luchthaven kunt reizen."

"Very very pleasant stay. We used it for an overnight 14h layover before continuing our trip - location is unbeatable, 1 min walk from check in areas - staff was all around very friendly - high quality (even though a bit old), but very well maintained and also high quality bathroom equipment (soaps, cremes etc). - beds were extremely comfortable - breakfast is à la carte with views of the airplanes / terminals - gym is small but all you need is there"

"Location is good. It is relatively close to the sky train and restaurants. However, the walls are thin and we can hear our neighbors walking and faucet running. The building is old with some renovations done. Could improve on the shower pressure and the air condition fan was noisy. The description on our room was “courtyard view” but I got the view of the roof with some air units and rain water. Staff at the front desk was courteous. I think parking should have been included."

"The hotel is very newly renovated & the design is modern & nice. It’s located on St. Edward’s & Bridgeport Road in Richmond; which is not in Richmond city centre. But, if you’d drive it’s not too bad and there’s 407 & 430 bus just about 4-5 min walk from the hotel & can go to Richmond city centre in 15 mins. There’s also A&W burger just in walk opposite to the hotel. And 6-8 min walk to Dollarama, Sungiven supermarket, Tim Horton."

"The walls were thin, and the planes were loud, but overall, it was a nice place to stay. There were many restaurants and it was close to the airport, which we wanted. The staff were also nice and we had no major problems."

"I really enjoyed my stay at Blueberry Grove Retreat! The place was very clean, comfortable, and peaceful, and I felt relaxed and at home during my stay. The whole experience was smooth and pleasant, and I really appreciated the cozy atmosphere of the property. It was a lovely place to come back to and rest after a long day. I’m very happy that I chose to stay here, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Vancouver. If I come back to Vancouver in the future, I would absolutely love to stay here again. "I called the hotel before my flight to ask about the shuttle bus service, and the girl who answered was like a robot in her answers and didn't seem interested in giving me very detailed or friendly answers. I was a little worried about finding the bus and asked if there was anything I needed to know about how to find the bus, and instead of explaining that the bus would have the name of the hotel on it (which was the case in the end, but isn't always the case in my experience- and I have travelled a lot) she just very robotically said to go to the charter pick up area. The shuttle bus was the main reason I booked this hotel, and I was a little bit choked by this interaction. The room was okay, it was clean, but confusingly unlit. The only light connected to a switch in the room was by the door, the rest of the room was lit only by 4 lamps (one of which didn't work) and it was incredibly dark in the room, even in the morning hours after the sun rose. The comforter on the bed was just a piece of batting sandwhiched in between two white flat sheets rather than a duvet cover. It would have been a nice service to have brought me a toothbrush to my room when I called down to the front desk and requested one, instead they made me come to the front desk in my pajamas for one. The hallways stunk of **** covered up by perfume. The guy who checked me in was nice and friendly, even though he had a lineup of people waiting to check in late at night and that must have been a little stressful for him. Overall, I felt the customer service at this hotel could be improved. Even if $120/night is not wildly expensive for Vancouver, it's still a lot of money, and the customer service doesn't need to suffer as a result."
