We had stayed in Hatten hotel a few years for the first time and liked it very much. So for our second visit it is a natural choice for us again. The staff was friendly and the household service was prompt in sending extra towels at night. We had used the swimming pool this time unlike our previous visit. It was clean and looked well maintained. Its location was excellent as it is next to two malls. Jonker walk is about 20 minutes away by foot. The only disappointment we had was the quality of the breakfast and Ramadan dinner. There is a wide selection of food items but it was quantity over quality.

Location wise is tip top nearby jonker street, service is really good and attentive especially breakfast, it was ala carte and delicious. Hotel beautifully decorated with babanyonya style. Room are little outdated, old tv, no socket beside bed, small hair dryer, non sensitive door handle. With the price we paid we could get better quality of facilities tho, narrow gym & swimming pool. However, TQ to everyone in the hotel, they’re very friendly and accommodating

This is a very new hotel which started their business in March 2023. Wanted to try on the first day of opening but due to some reason, it was delayed till now. It’s a first Marriott hotel in Melaka, so I do have very high expectations from them. As a Marriott platinum elite member, I’ve stayed in many hotel under Marriott organisation. Upon reaching the hotel with grab car, the staff came up to me immediately and lead me to the check in counter, the lobby are huge, and I can still smell that the hotel are still so new. Not much of the guest in the lobby area, it’s a Monday so I guess it’s normal. No suite room upgrade and no complimentary breakfast for a platinum member, although I was upgraded to a strait view room which I appreciated it. It can see a tiny bit of the sea. Apart from that, I guess the room size and amenity are the same. The check in staff told me that the suite room was full… I mean.. it’s a Monday.. and I literally still can see the suite room was available in the Bonvoy app. As I’ve mentioned, I’ve been to many hotel under Marriott organisation. I don’t always get upgraded to a suite room, but it was okay, I do understand all these are subjected to individual hotel policy and it’s all a good will. But I guess the staff could just tell me that the hotel are still new, the suite room are limited and it’s reserved for paying guest. I would totally understand that. But I don’t think it’s wise to you know, use a default replied as member like us, we check on the app. For me, if there’s no available suite room, I wouldn’t even ask for an upgrade. Secondly, there’s no complimentary breakfast, I paid RM70 for the 2 day breakfast. I’ve stayed in a few courtyard hotel, this was the first one that I’ve paid for breakfast, there might be other courtyard that don’t provide complimentary breakfast for guest with elite status, maybe I didn’t stay much enough to see it all. I’ve stayed with hotel that told me that their facility actually don’t offer complimentary breakfast for elite member, but they will just give it to me as a good will on top of my welcome gift. Just a little suggestion, like maybe let the counter staff to decide, if they could slip in some complimentary breakfast to guest with elite status or even guest that potentially come back again. I’m not complaining here, just some of my suggestions. The room are new, nice and spacious, very clean. Nice TV channel selection, view was great. Bed are firm to the level that I like, they offer pillow menu as well. Had very good sleep for the 2 night. Breakfast was very basic. There’s a very annoying flies flying around my table.. how did it come into the hotel, lol. Gym are small but there should be everything you need. The infinity pool are great! Very good view and very Instagrammable. Please visit the pool when you are here. The staff and friendly and nice. Would come back again to the hotel when I’m back in Melaka.

The front desk staff are friendly and welcoming when we were check in with a complimentary cookies, when we got into the room we realised that the fridge wasn't working, we let housekeeping and they immediately changed a new fridge for us. the room was nice and spacious the lights are working fine however the sofa a a little old ed stained.the body foam that they provide probably only can last a day and you are need to ask the housekeeping refill it if staying more then a day . the breakfast is great although we could get a clean table and had to ask the waiter to clean the table for us before we could go and get the food. overall we love the bed the soft pillow and it was a good stay .

Love how we can have a stroll at night to the riverside, in the evening having cendol at warung just infront of hotel, and chinese coffee shop beside it. With a reasonable price. Recommended. It’s a short holiday for me and my husband visiting from Singapore and we are glad that we found the little gem of a hotel that is Courtyard@ Heritage! We wanted to have the experience of living in an old vintage Peranakan styled shophouse and this was it! It still has the charms of little touches of Peranakan heritage in the front of house/lobby and within each room, and the modern facilities of clean bed and toilets/ baths. We are glad that good food is around every corner from the hotel! No lifts in this place though, so take note if you need lift access. Literally next door to Baboon House, same street with Gravy Baby, Ah Ma Hao Liao and next to Jonker Walk. Location is amazing and room was clean! Quiet hotel. Only thing was that we had to ask them to change the bedsheets because there were some stains in it ( maybe due to old sheets) but they did change it immediately with 1-2 hours we went out for lunch! No hassle and they have helpful staff!

Pros 1. Located in the center of Jonker Street, where all the fun begins. The hotel is at the back of this busy street away from the noise of the bars at night. 2. There are hot and cold showers. 3. There are drinks to greet you. 4. The environment is very clean. 5. WiFi is fast. 6. The staff are friendly and attentive. 7. They have basements. 8. There is a halal restaurant (Le Que) nearby. Cons 1. The room is too small even for us two petite women. 2. The cowboys that separate the room and the bathroom are at least my favorite, although the design is very unique, it is difficult to hear the call and cannot scent the whole room. 3. Parking spaces are limited (only 2-3 spots at a time). 4. The room is too small for disabled people in wheelchairs.

The Peranakan breakfast spread was amazing for my family to experience the sample fare of every dish. Even for me, there were delicacies I’ve never tried. We very much appreciate your very kind thoughts towards the whole experience, right from day one when Chester approached us lost looking visitors. All the best and I hope you’ll continue to prosper in every way. We’ve shared photos and views with our friends and hope they’ll choose to stay at your home. Just walk around the road and can reach back to hotel when we tired. The only drawbacks is the parking is a lil bit far around 800m from hotel. The breakfast is basic, but we don't care as there are other food that we can enjoy. Overall experience we would love to visit the place again

Stayed here for two nights. It has a great location close to Jonker Walk, but a little away from it so it's pretty quiet. The room itself is fine, on the functional side and comfortable enough. It was, on reflection, quite pricey for what it was, but did the job. On the plus side was a genuine King Bed, an effective AC unit and a mini fridge (sadly not as common in other Malaysian hotels as I'd hoped). The shower and bathroom were decent. Very steep stairs climbing up to the room, not easy to manhandle a heavy suitcase. Location is a 5 min walk from Casa Del Rio - if you're coming to/from Singapore, many coaches drop/collect from Casa Del Rio negating a need to go to Melaka Sentral. One thing to note about Melaka - finding places open for breakfast is quite difficult. This hotel didn't appear to have a breakfast option, and most cafes don't open till 10am. There are a couple open earlier, but they're not obvious.

There is a lift but note that you may still need to carry up/down some steps as your room may be at split level Breakfast was ok with egg station but spread is definitely not as extensive as other chain or larger hotels

1. The self check in procedure is quite tedious. If u dont have wifi, just sneak ur eyes in to look inside the wifi password. 2. Surprisingly, the room is extremely clean. Really not expect the room with this price will be as clean as this. Kudos to the hardworking ladies to ensure the top notch cleanliness. 3. Good wifi from room 4. Spacious room n bathroom. Very comfortable bed. 5. Nice hot shower 6. Perfect location. Near to ICQ ferry terminal 7. Near to Speedmart 99, restaurant and mamak place.

This hotel was in a fantastic location in the heart of Melaka - so it was very convenient to come in and out of the hotel constantly in between shops and restaurants. The decor in the hotel is very nice and has lots of character with nice paintings etc. We stayed in the Kapital room on ground floor which was very large and bathroom was also large and bed was very comfortable. The free snacks and drinks was also a nice touch. Wifi worked well. Breakfast was OK, just need to get there earlier so that when they make the food it is warm. The staff were super friendly and helpful - and also organised transport to next destination at a very reasonable price - the staff were perfect. The cleanliness was excellent. The hotel rooms itself were very quiet - the only annoyance was people in the carpark at the back which was just outside our room late at night constantly letting off fireworks - ideally security should be able to get them to go away considering it is illegal to let off fireworks. The other issue in the room was the power kept disconnecting and connecting making a loud noise each time and meaning one needed to manually put the air conditioning back on each time which is OK during the day but not at night - this may have been a one off issue. We would definitely stay at this hotel again when in Melaka - we would probably stay in a different room though as there are many other options available. It is good value for money, fantastic location, fantastic staff, very comfortable and convenient.
