The hotel is fill with artifact that describe the culture of the people living in the past. It is a living museum where the staffs dressed up like time has stand still.

Upon check-in, the room appeared satisfactory, and we left our luggage before heading out for a late lunch. Upon our return, we were surprised to find the floor wet. After contacting reception, a technician was sent to investigate. Despite our insistence, he initially assessed the situation from outside the room. When he finally entered, he did so with his shoes on. Despite our suggestion that the water leakage could be from a loose window due to heavy rain, he dismissed it without inspection. Only after requesting a room change did he examine and fix one window, leaving the other unattended. Unfortunately, my luggage near the window was still wet the next day.

We had always wanted to stay here and finally did. Great decision as we were mesmerised by this hotel cum museum settings. Yes, the property may not have a pool to douse oneself after exploring humid Melaka but it made up for it in other ways. Photo opportunities are aplenty with the nooks and crannies of the property, laden with artifacts of past generations. There’s also a room dedicated to the history of Melaka. My only gripe is the natrow and small washroom, which could be difficult for a plus-sized person. Also, the fire alarm was triggered the both nights we were there. Other than that, the property was perfect. Kudos to all the staffs and keep up the great work.

Good location and walking distance to attractions. Staff are friendly and courteous. Many F&B nearby. Breakfast well spread and had variety. The room and toilet are clean. Except the washing basin needs to clear its blockage. Water take sometimes to drain off. Good to stay when in Malacca.

Nice hotel, nice room 😍 , it was an incredible hotel and they really upkeep their heritage well. It's a pretty big hotel I was quite surprised as we walked in it was very spacious and the garden inside was really beautiful. It’s also perfectly situated in the heart of jonker street providing easy access to attractions . There are private parking provided as well.

Heritage hotel set in an excellent location. Lovely place, room is clean and big enough for my family of 5.
There is a lift but note that you may still need to carry up/down some steps as your room may be at split level
Breakfast was ok with egg station but spread is definitely not as extensive as other chain or larger hotels

Cons:
-Towers were dirty; sheets and quilts were not very clean.
-Amenities were very outdated.
-Sound insulation between adjoining rooms did not exist.
Pros:
-Breakfast was pretty good for me.
-Staffs were very helpful and polite.
-Building and environment was very stylish and represented local cultures.
-Location is very convenient to reach all major attractions.
Overall:
Above average.

This hotel is right in Chinatown, so it's very convenient to walk anywhere. The hotel itself is a historic Chinese-style mansion, and the decoration is also very oriental. The room is a bit small, but not too cramped. The hotel staff are friendly. Breakfast was served in the courtyard which was very pleasant.

Always stay here when I am in Malacca. Love the ambience and and the cleanliness of the room. Very convenient to walk around Jonker Street .
