"Extremely satisfied!!! The price was beyond my expectations. Service: We arrived around 5 or 6 AM, and the hotel lobby was spacious enough to relax on the comfortable sofas. The receptionist (very pretty, elegant, and friendly) helped us with our luggage, freshen up, and gave us free bus tickets for Lucerne. The breakfast staff were also incredibly friendly, thank you! We loved it. Cleanliness: Quite clean. Environment: Very close to the train station, easy to find, quiet, and convenient. Facilities: The room was a bit old, but considering the price, breakfast included, and the convenience, it was truly excellent value for money. By the way, booking overseas hotels through Ctrip is even cheaper than ***********. In short, extremely, extremely, extremely satisfied!"

"1 of the most grand & luxurious hotels I've stayed in Switzerland. Very international standard. The room is very comfortable & very high end. They gave complimentary chocolates, toothbrushes (the only hotel that provided these in the whole of my Switzerland trip) & Dyson hairdryer. The service from the staffs here is top notch! The spa is the best quality! My wife & I really enjoyed our time using the sauna, steam room & relaxation area. We went back twice. Also celebrated my wife's birthday at Minamo Restaurant. Best Japanese Omakase dinner we ever had. My wife & I discussed on how are we ever gonna look at Japanese food the same ever again."

"A major faux pas!!! This is my first negative review because this hotel perfectly embodies the arrogance and unreasonableness of the Swiss. I booked a lake-view suite with windows on three sides, but after four changes, I was finally given the room type shown in the original picture. This process was completely unnecessary; there was only one picture of this room type. When I complained to the front desk in the morning, the receptionist was incredibly arrogant. I can't even describe how she was so dismissive and disdainful – it was extremely offensive and uncomfortable. As the face of Lucerne, this hotel has utterly disgraced the image of the Swiss. It doesn't deserve its supposedly number one ranking; the interior is tacky, ugly, noisy, and smelly… In short, if you don't want your trip to be disrupted, consider other hotels in the area."

"The Hotel Lucerne is convenient to central Lucerne and walking the old city. It is a small, boutique hotel - the front desk told us it is the second smallest Autograph Collection hotel in the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio. As a Bonvoy Ambassador Elite, we had two rooms and were placed next door to each other on the top floor with a private end of the hall, making for a quiet stay. The rooms were large for a European urban hotel, especially the bathrooms. Everything was very clean and had a very distinctive modern design. The staff was friendly and accommodating of family travel with kids. For the size of hotel, the breakfast buffet offered a good variety. The only drawback was parking - the hotel has only two dedicated spots, which were already taken, so we were left to find parking on Lucerne city streets. Luckily we found a spot just a few blocks away."

"De lakens in de kamer waren gevlekt en versleten beige. Water was gratis bij de receptie, maar niet op de kamer. De schoonmaak verliep traag en de lift van en naar de berg was vijf keer kapot. Hij was in reparatie toen ik vertrok, waardoor ik elke dag een taxi moest nemen. Het landschap was prachtig, dus ik accepteerde het vanwege het uitzicht. (Een hotel dat teert op zijn vergane glorie.) De hotelservice is zeer prijzenswaardig - onze verzoeken werden snel en zeer vriendelijk personeel beantwoord. Het ontbijt is ook goed - het blijft hetzelfde, maar dat is hier een standaard."

There's a bus stop right outside, and three bus lines go to the train station and city center, with frequent service. The room has a fairly large rooftop terrace with great views. "Note that the hotel’s facade is under renovation however the location can not be more perfect right across from Luzern Bahnhof with eatings and supermarkets inside the station. Rooms are dated but clean and it’s large for Swiss standards. Had niet ontbijt als ik de suite met keuken boekte. Kortom, het is een goede keuze voor een nacht’s verblijf gemakkelijk in en uit Lucerne. Chapel brug en stad is 5-10 min gemakkelijk wandelen van het hotel."

"Er was een latere beslechting, voor ons een doos met instructies en sleutels, die de reepshen belde uit de hand dat de manager spreekt zes talen, waaronder Russisch, de instructie op afstand uitgevoerd. Ik dank de manager Bangin Salih voor de operationele hulp bij de verhuizing en de zorgvuldige houding ten opzichte van de gasten. Het was leuk om ongerust te zijn en bereid om in elke situatie te helpen. Zeer blij met de kwaliteit van bedden, en de kleedkamer en de pijpen zoals wolken 💔 Renigheid, service en vooral ontbijt boven alle lof 😍"

"The hotel is a typical old-fashioned hotel with antique decoration and a small elevator. The view of Lake Lucerne is just outside the room window. The breakfast is good. Parking is not very convenient. You cannot park at the door of the hotel. There is a social parking lot opposite that charges a fee (temporary parking is free). There are two hotel-specific parking spaces, but they are often not available. However, there is a public parking lot 300 meters away from the hotel. After checking in, the front desk will inform you of the parking lot location and enter the license plate information, and you can park for free."
