I would never recommend this hotel. The street noise (drunks) outside was horrible until after 3:30 am every night. The restaurant staff in the hotel restaurant and the attached Italian restaurant were very rude. There were about a dozen beer bottles and drink glasses along with trash on a sticky floor in the elevator at 7am when I checked out.

One night stay as part of tour. Hotel clearly caters to tour groups, 6 were active during the stay. Given other reviews, seems tower or annex 3 is best for a quiet room. Others have commented 1 and 2 might be noisy as the rooftop bar is in building one. Room is small albeit clean. Small and slow elevator so be patient when other groups are active. WiFi is good. Breakfast at top floor in building 1 was limited.

Shuki Sherpa was very helpful and did a wonderful job of cleaning my room. She was also very kind and took the time to answer a few questions for me.

A large hotel catering to tourists. The staff was helpful and professional. Our room was spacious but we could not control the room temperature even though their was a thermostat which I believe was for show only. During the day the room was cool and warm at night. We even had a technician come and try to adjust the temperature but to no avail. Breakfast was okay. Location was decent.

Terrible hotel. Bed mattress worn out. Caused back ache. Hotel staff provided no help. Room was dirty. Found hair on the floor. Hvac system did not work well. Made banging noise. Breakfast Room was poorly laid out, stuffy, hot, and crowded. Only "entertainment " offered was news channels and some lame game show. Don't waste your money and time here.

Our room was on the 5th floor, 2 floors below the nightclub - and yet we heard all the bass sounds from the club’s music until 3:30AM. We were traveling with a tour group and many in our group experienced the same problem with the same noise, regardless of what floor they were on. It is apparent that the hotel values their club clientele more than their guests. I hope our tour company (Collette) stops booking rooms at this hotel. The room had basic amenities and was fine with the exception of the noise issue. What good is a nice room if you can’t sleep?

While this hotel is in a great location it lacks any charm or quality. Rooms are very basic and lack any amenities. No bottled water, drawers to store clothing, or basic writing materials. Sp****ly decorated rooms with no carpeting. Air conditioner did not work properly and was constantly humid. No basic room service or concierge to assist with dinner reservations or other guest services. I would not recommend this hotel if you are expecting minimum 3 to 5 star quality.

The staff was friendly. The rooms were nice and clean. The breakfast was well stocked and the offerings were good not great. The hotel was a short walk from the water, town and train station. There were several restaurants close by and a nice rooftop bar. I’m not sure the hotel was worth the higher cost because nothing made it stand out from any other hotel.

We stayed here at the end of an Avalon river cruise for two nights. There’s no door on the bathroom, but you still have privacy (but no sound or light is blocked from the bathroom). A full wall of glass, so you need to use the drapes at night or if it’s too sunny/hot. The location was convenient to walk to the center/chapel bridge area. It’s an unusual building, originally three buildings it seems. But the breakfast provided was excellent, served in a part of the Chinese restaurant. The rooftop bar was awesome! Staff were responsive and helpful. I’d stay again.
