"I stayed at Villa Cheli for one night in March 2024. The villa and location are stunning. All very nice from the outside. Management, in my opinion, has areas for improvement. In particular: - maintenance and cleaning of the room. - Breakfast. The offer is based on packaged products. Overall everything was fine, but with a little more attention it would be super!"

"Mountain villa hotel, picturesque, highly recommended for dinner at the hotel, super delicious Italian Western food, model, good taste, cost-effective (more than 30 euros per person), from appetizers, head plates to desserts. Breakfast is also great."

Villa Pedone

"We were very disappointed with Villa Pedone. Apart from the stunning view of the surrounding countryside, everything fell far short of our expectations, especially at nearly €200 a night for a couple. The bathroom wasn't clean and desperately needed a refresh (dirty, leaky shower cubicle, moldy grout, rusty and peeling paint on the towel warmer, door covered in black marks, dirty toothbrush holder, etc.). The bedroom was generally dreary, with very basic furnishings (the owner gave us a choice between two rooms, and we naturally chose the lesser of two...). The bedding was uncomfortable (the bed frame creaked and the mattress was very worn). Breakfast was minimal (vacuum-packed cold cuts with an expired, greenish hue – see photo, frozen rolls, stale pastries, very little choice...). The pool was small, and the surrounding common areas were limited. The owner was unfriendly and showed little concern for guest comfort. The value for money was very poor considering the services offered."

B&B Il Seminario

"Recommended by a good friend the B& B has been a delight. Great quiet location, close to train station and the Cathedral, the whole of the city is a stroll away. Excellent restaurants and beautiful shops in the slightly busy centre are perfect. Staff at the B&B are both charming and helpful, Florence is a 1 hr 20 train journey away..avoid Sunday travel if possible..v busy. Highlights..the Cathedral is magnificent and for just £20 we enjoyed a Puccini concert with fine Baritone and Soprano soloists in a Chapel 100 metres from the Cathedral where 5 generations of Puccini were the organist.. quite moving. Lastly compared to the UK prices are extremely reasonable for Excellent quality. 5 stars all day long"

"This place was surprisingly nice in a really cool town that wasn't really on my radar. It's a short distance to the sights and some really good restaurants. It was a little challenging to check-in since the street doesn't have parking and it's hard to find, but ring the bell or connect earlier with the owner and it'll be smooth I'm sure. The parking on site was nice because it's protected from the street, but like all of Europe, pricey. There is also a breakfast option, but didn't spend the money to find out the quality. Rooms are of a really good size, great air conditioner, and bed is comfortable."
