Tenuta di Tramonte Boutique Hotel

"Tenuta di Tramonte was one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at in Italy in years. It was a last minute booking when we decided to go a day early before heading to a villa of our friend’s son for a week . It was the best decision . Arriving from London we spent the early afternoon in Lucca which we love and then headed to the hotel. As soon as we arrived we were warmly greeted as if we were friends. The hotel has an amazing setting. We were given a tour of the grounds including the natural pool and were told about the history and the seven year conversion of the convent into a hotel with only seven beautiful rooms each with gorgeous views and huge bathrooms with every little luxury. We ate dinner at the hotel - elegant and each dish was a work of art . Beautifully presented.bread is made at the villa and has to be the best bread in Tuscany. Breakfast was an Italian array with so many handmade pastries and cakes and we ate it looking at the hillside and dreaming about coming back which we will certainly do ."

"I stayed at Villa Cheli for one night in March 2024. The villa and location are stunning. All very nice from the outside. Management, in my opinion, has areas for improvement. In particular: - maintenance and cleaning of the room. - Breakfast. The offer is based on packaged products. Overall everything was fine, but with a little more attention it would be super!"

"Een heerlijk klein hotel net buiten Lucca. De kamers zijn comfortabel, er zijn mooie tuinen en een zwembad. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en attent. Het restaurant bevindt zich in een aparte glazen constructie naast het hoofdgebouw. ​​We hebben er twee avonden gegeten en het eten was van goede kwaliteit. Het enige minpuntje voor gasten is de vrij steile trap, eerst naar de voordeur en dan naar de slaapkamers. Voor ons was dit geen probleem, maar voor minder mobiele mensen misschien wel."

"Villa Romantica is ideaal gelegen, op wandelafstand van het centrum. Het hotel is mooi, de kamers zijn proper, het ontbijt is goed en het personeel is heel vriendelijk. Een absolute aanrader voor een bezoek aan Lucca!"

"Davide helped coordinate a van from Lucca to Monterosso Al Mare for the next morning during a Trenitalia rail strike. We were supposed to travel by train, so this was a great alternative with very short notice. Azura who works the rooftop bar was very hospitable and friendly. We enjoyed her service both nights."
