"Hotel in a convenient location for us - close to the motorway, not far from the city center (20 min. walk). Convenient, large parking lot belonging to the hotel (entrance with a barrier). The windows of the rooms overlook either McDonalds and the motorway, or the supermarket parking lot (we definitely preferred the supermarket side). Unfortunately, we were forced to change rooms due to black mold by the window and mold on the wall - the hotel staff were very helpful and despite being fully booked, offered us another room. The rest of the stay went smoothly. As in most hotels in Italy, there was no coffee/tea making facilities in the room, nor bottled water or glasses."

"Well located and nice lobby. The all day coffee machine was broken but I did enjoy the gratis bubbles in the afternoon . The room was pretty small but efficient but my big complaint were the large number of teeny ants..I first noticed them on the floor by the bed then again in the corner of the bathroom floor by the shower. Kind of grossed me out but other than that a fine stay."

U bent op korte afstand van alles wat mooi is om te zien in Lucca! Het is een mooie en vriendelijke B&B en kan u altijd een paar tips geven. Bedenk dat het gebouw een oud paleis is (maar zeer goed onderhouden) en dus als zodanig niet een beetje comfortabel kan zijn, dus doe het een reden 😉. Hoewel we alleen maar één nacht goed hebben afgerond voor ons lange weekend! "

Its location is very convenient, it's family-run, warmly decorated, and the owner and staff are very welcoming, making it a comfortable place to stay. Breakfast is a buffet, and you can order coffee from the staff. The ice cream shop next to the hotel is also excellent and shouldn't be missed."

"Tenuta di Tramonte was one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at in Italy in years. It was a last minute booking when we decided to go a day early before heading to a villa of our friend’s son for a week . It was the best decision . Arriving from London we spent the early afternoon in Lucca which we love and then headed to the hotel. As soon as we arrived we were warmly greeted as if we were friends. The hotel has an amazing setting. We were given a tour of the grounds including the natural pool and were told about the history and the seven year conversion of the convent into a hotel with only seven beautiful rooms each with gorgeous views and huge bathrooms with every little luxury. We ate dinner at the hotel - elegant and each dish was a work of art . Beautifully presented.bread is made at the villa and has to be the best bread in Tuscany. Breakfast was an Italian array with so many handmade pastries and cakes and we ate it looking at the hillside and dreaming about coming back which we will certainly do ."

"Een heerlijk klein hotel net buiten Lucca. De kamers zijn comfortabel, er zijn mooie tuinen en een zwembad. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en attent. Het restaurant bevindt zich in een aparte glazen constructie naast het hoofdgebouw. We hebben er twee avonden gegeten en het eten was van goede kwaliteit. Het enige minpuntje voor gasten is de vrij steile trap, eerst naar de voordeur en dan naar de slaapkamers. Voor ons was dit geen probleem, maar voor minder mobiele mensen misschien wel."

"Where do I start... The host is MAGNIFICIENT! Constanza is such a delight. She guided us through the check in process and made us feel comfortable and welcome. The property has ample parking and the rooms reflect a wonderful rustic feel. Very Very nice. And the breakfast..... MAGNIFIQUE. From the home made breads and pastries, to the fresh fruit and coffee, you felt like a guest of the family. My only regret was not staying here longer. HIGHLY recommended. Wonderful time!"

"My friend and I loved staying in La Luna. The location is superb, and the staff are amazing! The hotel was so charming, even down to the giant room keys you can leave behind the desk. The breakfast was simple but got the job done. The beds are a little hard and pillows a little thin, but staff kept our room nicely tidy. Our AC didn’t work, so we slept with our windows open. This worked to fall asleep, but Lucca is definitely a loud city throughout the night, so bring your ear plugs if you’re sensitive to noise. I would definitely stay here again!"

Francisco was very helpful. He let us store our luggage and organised taxi for us to go to pisa airport. His brother alllowed us to use bathroom, even though restaurant was closed for afternoon . "
