Nice hotel. Room is bright and great location. But isn’t super clean. Hair and powder found on bed. Amenities don’t have cotton pad. Hair found in packaged earbud. Breakfast was pretty good as attached. Will stay again if price is reasonable. Without discounts it’s not worth it.

Room Number: 1128, 1129 Pros: - nice sea view - comfortable bed - separate bathtub and shower area - Huge pool (feels like a resort, with slide for children so very family friendly) - decent size gym - breakfast buffet had decent variety and taste (very value for money given cost of room) - staff were friendly and proactive Cons - Room shows serious signs of ageing. Even though could see that it was refurbished, things still look like they are falling apart - not sure if it’s just my room, but tv channels come and go. Sometimes it’s working and sometimes it’s not. Limited channels as well. - pillow was way too soft - My King size bed was actually two super single beds put together. - Only bath towels provided and it was very worn. No other towels provided. - Not really baby friendly as there hotel does not have baby shower tub. Thankfully room comes with a bath tub - sound insulation pretty bad. Could hear sounds from the corridor

Consistent with brand standards, bulk-size amenities are provided here at the Holiday Inn Johor Bahru City Centre and while I do appreciate the positive impact these initiatives have on the environment, the body wash bottles located by the shower area were empty when I checked-in to the room. The opaque bottles definitely make it hard for housekeeping to check whether a top-up is required so this is quite certainly a pain point for everyone. Affordable and modern rooms in a great location make Holiday Inn Johor Bahru City Centre a great choice for travellers from Singapore without private transport.

We been here for few times. This time when we checked in, we met Receptionist name, Ms Nor Ashikin. She's grumpy, not friendly and has no eye contact. When we ask questions she didn't give eye contact. We wanna to inform her that we book 2 different booking, one with Trip.com and the other booking is directly to the hotel, due to rooms available at trip.com. Through our explanation, she didn't give us any eye contact. We have to ask again what we need to do. With her eyes looking at the screen, she told us tomorrow come down again with the key. That's all, so the next day we meet Ms Natasha, she was so friendly and helpful. We found out that Ms Nor Ashikin missed out our requirements. Ms Natasha helped us up. For Ms Natasha I will give 5 star but for Nor Ashikin, I'll give one star. Overall we love our stay here and will definitely come back but we hope we won't come across Ms Nor Ashikin. Not only to us, she was very hostile towards other guests too. The management needs to do something about her hostile attitude towards the Guest especially.

Wonderful stay as always! We are very pleased with the room size, layout and bathtub. Scenery outside is great too, overlooking the sea. Albeit location is abit inconvenient given the construction works surrounding City Square and nearby. Shuttle takes a long time to arrive at destination given the traffic during peak hours.

Everyone in my group loved it. My kids loved it so much. Clean, spacious. We arrived late but they were very accommodating with the set up of the extra bed. My only gripe was there's no extra key card so while the kids were resting in the room, I had to ask for assistance from front desk to help me get into my room. N I ran alot of errands 😂 but the staff were very nice. Aircon wasn't very cold for a new hotel wish we could have increase the speed of the ceiling fan.

First X booking this apartment and was pretty satisfied. Everything was fantastic Eg. Detailed info provided by the property management company, well maintained and clean place which makes you feel like a home stay and even provide cooking facilities if you plan to cook, sufficient toiletries, high floor 34th level with nice view and many more . Thumbs up! Just 2 little things to feedback: 1. Toilet floor was kinda slippery. Will be good if can provide floor mat inside toilet as well. Only has one floor mat outside bathroom . The toilet with the bathtub was good. 2. Car gantry issue with the key card access 😂 but not a big problem thou . Host replied fast and managed to settle. Forest City Marina Hotel is a resort hotel by the sea with a view of Singapore. The receiptionist are very polite and helpful. We checked in at the hotel on 17 October 2020 and the whole check in process was fast and took us less than 10 minutes from queuing to getting the room keys. The room is very spacious and big. It is equipped with wifi connectivity, big screen tv, a variety of tv channels, a chiller, bathrobes and complimentary mineral water. The bathroom/toilet comes with a bathtub and separate shower and the size is big and spacious. The room also have a balcony facing the seaview and Singapore. The downside of the hotel: 1. It’s located very far from JB city and after 8pm, the Forest City seems to be a dead city. 2. Some of the facilities are not open to the public(eg. Only one swimming pool is open out of the many swimming pools, facilities around the resort are limited to the Marina Hotel and many shops are closed) 3. Some of the equipment/in room facilities require repair eg. Shower head 4. Aircond is not switched on in many areas(maybe due to low occupancy) The positive part of the hotel: 1. Very friendly and polite staff in the hotel from receiption, restaurant, security guards to the housekeeping team. Good job everyone. 2. The room is neat and tidy. Sufficient towels and amenities are provided. 3. Operator/receiption answer the phone call within three rings 4. They have promotion set meal at rm20 each which is affordable.

It is my 3rd day of stay in this resort and it exceeded my expectation. I rented a 5 room villa and it is superbly maintained, comfy and clean. It is located just next to the golf course and the view is fantastic. At night you could hear the sound of insects with cool breeze. The staff here are helpful and courteous. We had dinner in the Club and most of the dishes are very good especially the duck 🦆 . Activities wise it caters to all age and personalities- we played tennis, table tennis, swimming pool with slide for kids. We’ll like try archery before leaving tomorrow. There are many other things here like table pool, gym, squash, horse riding, a small field for football and of course golf- we won’t have time for all these this time 😉. I will give a 5 Star ⭐️ rating for this resort in overall offerings, service and value. Keep it up Tg Puteri Golf Resort ⛳️ 👏👏

This is my second time staying at this hotel with friends. My first stay was awesome as the hotel looks new and maintained well, thus I bring another group of friends to repeat stay here. Love their breakfast spread for first visit, this round we stayed 2 nights, one breakfast was on Friday with lesser choice, second day breakfast on Saturday the spread is better with more choices, overall food standard dropped abit, but love their pastries which is nice 👍🏻. Stuff is friendly trying to accommodate our request on rooms. Only provide 2 bath towels , no floor nor hand towels supplied, maybe due to eco-friendly, ok for us as they provide good quality room slippers, but one of the towel didn’t look clean when use…2nd day the replacement towels was ok …. The rooms maintained well, the reception areas abit old , may need refurnish to have better impressions of the hotel
