"It's literally the nicest hotel in the area despite being expensive.
Our room overlooked the sunset and the view was beautiful.
The front desk staff efficiently checked me in, making me feel right at home.Special thanks to Jackson, who made the stay perfect and was helpful every step of the way! I'll definitely come back.
Perhaps the most pleasing aspect was the hotel's quiet atmosphere that allowed us to relax and enjoy ourselves. There were no sounds of traffic or construction to distract or annoy us, and that was a pleasant change from our normal routine. We are happy to recommend to everyone that they book their next stay for rest and recreation at the Nan Ning Shangri-La Hotel.
By the way, the hotel's location is very convenient as it is central to shopping, restaurants and recreation venues. Aurelia, Jessica, Eileen, Doris, and Iris are great."

"Yongjiang Hotel ligt op een goede locatie, aan de overkant van de levendige Parkson Pedestrian Street, Third Street en Second Lane, met gemakkelijk openbaar vervoer. "Crowne Plaza is het hotel dat we hebben gekozen voor onze laatste nacht in Nanning. Het is schoon, goed uitgerust en modern, en heeft een comfortabele omgeving. Het ligt zeer dicht bij ASEAN Shengtiandi en Vientiane City. Het heeft volledige ondersteunende faciliteiten en is erg handig om te winkelen en te eten. Vooral Grace, de dienstdoende manager, heeft een zeer goede service-instelling. Omdat we met kinderen reisden, heeft ze ons direct gratis geüpgraded naar een hoge executive tweepersoonskamer van 2,4 meter groot met kinderen na een vermoeiende dag. De kamer is erg groot en ruim, en de buitenkant van de stad is ook erg mooi. Grace heeft ook zorgvuldig kleine cadeautjes voorbereid, zoals pantoffels en tandenborstels was een zeer comfortabele en perfecte verblijfservaring. Ik zal hier in de toekomst opnieuw kiezen."

"Great location if shopping centres and city life is your thing but the street noise may be disturbing. Very standard amenities, small pool with no view, large gym, a sauna that took ages to heat up, needs upgrade/fixing. Great breakfast buffer with wide selection of Chinese and Western dishes. Overall a 4* experience, as expected, so no major +/- issues. If you want a 5* accomodation at not different price point other options are available in Nanning. I had very good experience with Ming-Du, not as central locationl as Marriott, but quieter, better views, and overall a more elevated environment."

"Sincerely give five-star praise! The overall decoration and environment of the hotel are very bright. From the front desk check-in, you can feel the staff's excellent service attitude. The front desk staff 018 and 002 are warm and meticulous. The rooms were cleaned spotlessly, the areas were clean and refreshing, and the children came to the college entrance examination. The room prepared stationery supplies for the college entrance examination candidates. There is a restaurant downstairs to order food at any time. "Overall the hotel is well organzied. Only staff not smart, careful and not detailed in mind.
My stay extended one day, since cannot change the original booking (a 2 days stay), I made another one separately. Upon check in, reminded reception, and the gentleman did arranged my check in through out entire 3 days. Unfortunately, the assigned room at 19th floor (?) has bad smoke smell, thus I requested a change of room, at first the customer service lady on phone asked me to open window, and giving different kind of excuse and tried to refuse my request, after much request, she said she will arrange and will can me back. Which took 15-20mins and still no return call for updates, until I called again and finally got a change of room to 18th.
another 2 bad experience were :
1) after changed room to 18th, only 2 days being arranged and on the 3rd day when I returned to room, my card was disabled and I had to go down to reception and got my card reactivated, where the girl did challenged me about my booking, said it's no record showing that I have 3rd day booking...
2) my booking is executive room, with free lounge service, after being moved to 18th, I am not able to access 19th to enjoy the lounge, and, I had to go down to reception, again...
for the rest, overall service is OK, and the lounge is great."

TtankharrisThis is obviously a very nice hotel and I would recommend and would stay here again. Luxury is very obvious all over this hotel, and it is frankly very cheap for what it is.
The moment we came in, bellhops insisted to carry our bags up to the 80th floor lobby. They were always opening doors for us and very helpful with our bags, 24/7. Once we arrived, we were welcomed in and sat down at an individual desk for check in. There, we were served some excellent tea.
The hotel purser came over and welcomed us in. My girlfriend is Chinese and spoke to the staff in Chinese, but the purser switched up to English to welcome me to the hotel, which is a nice detail. Most Chinese hotel staff consistently avoid putting in the effort to speak English to me.
The hard product is amazing and is matched well with great service. Staff were always attentive and welcoming in both Chinese and English, always saying hello and checking in.
The cons:
This hotel, just like most Marriott hotels, is trying to nickel and dime you, which doesn’t make a lot of sense at this price point. In some ways it isn’t, such as an included mini-bar (all non-alcoholic), but for example it doesn’t have a laundry service, while basically any 3-5 star hotel in China would have included laundry. Also, there is a car transfer service, but it’s so absurdly priced for no particular reason. 400 rmb+ for basic transfers where as a Didi would be 10 rmb. Similar luxury properties such as the Ritz-Carlton has these amenities included.
The restaurants were nice. We only tried Na Lian, which despite being an in-house guest and being told that they could get reservations for us, we basically were treated like walk-in’s despite being told we had reservations (and we were unable to get a window seat). The bar was also nice and we enjoyed it, the staff were very attentive and helpful. The bar manager waited for us to arrive, but the bar consistently had spend limits for any table or reservation, which additionally just seemed silly, considering we were already staying in a booked deluxe room. The drinks and lamb were very good. The menu was a little outdated, and illustrated wine by the glass, but we were then told that the menu is wrong and they don’t do that.
Also, there was strangely a lack of extra towels and bins in the room. I found myself walking into the bathroom many times to throw away trash.
This is a good hotel and I plan to be back again, but it can definitely improve. Too much nickel and diming. Good service and good products inspire people to come back, which is worth much more than selling one bottle of shampoo and pushing a customer to never return again.

QQueen Bee BakesWe booked for 5 days stay. I picked this room becos I really like the lollipop lamp as it is so cute! The location is superb, if you turn left going out at the entrance of the building, you will be at the famous “3 streets and 2 lanes” (三街二巷) which is a bustling tourist spot with a lot of good eating places, and shopping places. If you turn right, in a few minutes, you will reach Nanning Old Street (南宁老街），also filled with eating places and shopping places, and there is a night market there too!
The room is cosy and very clean. No unpleasant odours and there is a fridge and a washer in the room too. Toilet is clean and looks new, basic amenities like body wash, shampoo and conditioner are provided.
The room can be cleaned daily if needed and we requested for more bottled water on some days too. The owner is very friendly and very fast to act of request for extra water or to clear rubbish or tidy the room. Room is equipped with AI assistant, everything can be activated with voice commands (but I think you need to speak Chinese/Mandarin though). It took me a while to get used to speaking to 小爱同学 😜
It is very easy to get cabs from the building too. We also had no issues getting food and drinks delivered to us. I will definitely book this place again the next time I visit Nanning.
我们预订了5天的住宿。我选这个房间是因为我特别喜欢那个棒棒糖灯，它太可爱了！地理位置优越，从大楼入口出门左转，就到了著名的三街二巷，那里是一个繁华的旅游景点，有很多好吃的餐厅和购物场所。右转几分钟就到南宁老街了，那里也有很多餐饮和购物场所，还有夜市！
房间舒适干净，没有异味，房间里还有冰箱和洗衣机。卫生间干净整洁，看起来很新，提供沐浴露、洗发水和护发素等基本用品。
如有需要，房间可以每天打扫，我们有时也要求加瓶装水。老板非常友好，无论需要加水、清理垃圾还是整理房间，他都能迅速响应。房间配备了人工智能助手，所有功能都可以通过语音指令启动（不过我觉得你需要会说中文/普通话）。我花了一段时间才习惯和小爱同学说话 😜
从楼里打车也很方便。我们也顺利地订到了送来的食物和饮料。下次来南宁，我一定会再次预订这家酒店。

Er is een wasruimte met zelfbediening op de derde verdieping van het hotel. U hoeft geen wasgoed toe te voegen. poeder zelf. Het gaat allemaal automatisch. Je kunt het ook aan het hotel vragen als je niet vrij bent. Het personeel helpt met de was en laat een klein briefje achter om te helpen met wassen en terug te sturen naar de kamer. Het ontbijt van het hotel heeft veel van variëteiten en de smaak is redelijk goed. Er zijn geen kosten verbonden aan kinderen tot 1,2 meter lang. Het is echt goed. De receptie van het hotel is enthousiast, maar er zijn problemen. Iedereen kan helpen. Xiaoqin bij de receptie heeft goede service en wordt ten zeerste aanbevolen.

GGastgebruikerStayed overnight for a next day morning flight which was delayed, no problem as the hotel allowed us to keep our room until 2 pm at no charge. There was no requirement for a deposit on arrival. For the price we weren't expecting much, how wrong can you be. I have stayed in hotels costing four times what we paid that just didn't come close to this.
The room was air conditioned, well prepared and clean with an excellent shower which is a must for us.
On departure a member of staff helped us with our luggage the short walk to departures, he only left us once he had found and escorted us to the correct check in. A very pleasant and helpful young man. All staff were extremely helpful and courteous.
Next time we visit family in Nanning we will definitely use this hotel on arrival and departure.

GGastgebruikerWe stayed at the Yeste International Hotel (Chaoyang Square District Government) for five nights in mid November. Here's the pros and cons:
Pros: 1) Good location. Within about 5 - 10 minutes walk, you will find yourself in the heart of one of Nanning's busiest shopping and dining district. 2) Good buns and vegetable dishes at breakfast. (If you'd like a piece of toast, however, there's no jam or butter. No cereals either. This is odd considering that the hotel markets itself as ”international”.)
Cons: 1) The Yeste we stayed at promoted itself as ”opened in 2019” but this is misleading! It had been operated as some other hotels before the Yeste brand ”opened” the property as its own. The rooms may have been renovated but many details are clearly worn out from yellow caulking, slow drainage, to moldy cracks. The bathrooms are excruciatingly small. You can't access the full countertop without cramming your legs against the toilet bowl. (We stayed at the ”super” room. Looking back at the online photos posted by the hotel, we couldn't believe that's actually the room we'd stayed at. The fisheye effect used in taking those photos are misleading.)
2) The property allows smoking in some areas. Even if you booked a ”non-smoking” room, chances are that you will ”enjoy” second-hand smoking in the elevator, hallways, even in your own room.
3) Security is non-existent. There is a lobby at the front, but through a side door, which is open 24/7, anyone and everyone can come and go at will. The hotel shares the building with other tenants (businesses). From food delivery, other tenants in the building, to patrons of different businesses, the entire building is an open book. With the push of a button, anyone can access your hotel floors anytime of the day.
Overall, if you are looking for a budget hotel to stay in the city, this property is okay. If you expect quality, security, or services, this is not the place to be.

GGastgebruikerWe spent awhile here as were securing Vietnam visas. This is hotel is far from the embassy. On the other hand,it was convenient for the public transport,but not the subway. The front desk had no clue about whether trains to Vietnam from Nanning are possible. They are and we took trains first to Hanoi and later to Mui Ne.The front desk all over Vietnam was full of good advice and could speak English well enough. As for China,they wanted to help,but didnt have the answers and once I could see them tapping away at their phones I knew they would most likely find the same lack of information I found on line. The train at Nanning leaves at 6PM for Hanoi. A special machine exists that prints out a card in five languages with carbon copies that tear away at each juncture of the trip. This will be a bad night's sleep as they rouse passengers late at night to stamp out of China and later into Vietnam. Upon arrival in Hanoi you'll probably need a taxi,but at 6:30am the only ones prey on tourists st the train station. Most people stay around the Old Quarter and it's a well provisioned sort of place with a giant lake at the center. Getting to the train station here required me to get a motorcycle,but wasnt far. It was easy to buy onward tickets and we enjoyed the food and people watching around the lake. WWan SuwanThe location of the apartment is great, plenty of restaurants, 24hrs convenient stores around the building, short walking distance to Mira Mall & Sheng's Tiandi where you can find good supermarket & lots of nice restaurants & good food places. MixC Mall, Hang Yang City & Convention & Exhibition Center are in short distance taking taxi is ~CNY10-15 & convenient, as taxi stand is just right in front of the walk way to the building.
The apartment building & the unit itself are old and don't have enough maintenance, they offer the kitchen but if staying less than a month, it's almost useless as they don't provide any of the kitchenware at all, except the electric kettle, not even the proper glasses nor utensils, only 2 daily paper cups in the bathroom.
Room facilities & many little things in the unit are all run down & don't have proper maintenance like door knobs, handles, shower, kitchen taps, table, etc, cleanliness is not good enough, however, the bed sheets & bedding stuff are clean enough with no smell. They offer the daily cleaning, but just floor clean, no change of anything, no drinking water provided. The amenities are very basic & few, most are disposable, better bring your own, anyhow, some requests are well responsive like we request to change the kettle, cause it is out of order, 1 additional chair as they provide only 1 chair in the unit & laundry detergent.
In overall, if you don't mind and can bare those run down facilities with not good enough maintenance, it is a value for money to stay in such location in good neighborhood.

Location:
The hotel’s location is fantastic, especially for travelers looking to explore the city. It’s just a short walk from Jinhu Square Metro Station, making it very easy to get around Nanning and access popular attractions. There are also plenty of shops, restaurants, and local markets in the surrounding area, which is incredibly convenient.
Check-in & Service:
The check-in process was smooth and efficient. The staff were friendly and spoke enough English to assist with any queries. They were always ready to offer directions or help with taxi arrangements, which made the stay even more hassle-free.
Room:
The room I stayed in was clean, modern, and comfortable. The bed was soft, and the pillows were just right for a good night’s sleep. The room was equipped with all the usual amenities like a flat-screen TV, minibar, free Wi-Fi, and an air conditioning unit that worked perfectly. The bathroom was spacious, with a good shower and all the necessary toiletries provided.
Facilities:
The hotel has a small but functional fitness center, which I used a couple of times during my stay. While it’s not a massive gym, it has enough equipment for a decent workout. There’s also a restaurant on-site, which serves a variety of Chinese dishes. The breakfast buffet was simple but tasty, offering a mix of local and continental options.
Value for Money:
Given its central location and the comfort of the facilities, Sanzan Hotel offers excellent value for money. The price is very reasonable, especially for a hotel that is so conveniently situated near a metro station.
