"Wonderful hotel. My room had an unblocked view of the mountains and paid fields. 7th floor rooftop has a pool and very nice views. Service was excellent. The room was very clean. Breakfast was Chinese style breakfast which suited our taste. You can rent an e bike from the front of the hotel cheaply and ride around the area. Or if you prefer you could also ride the free bicycles provided by the hotel."

"Ik boekte twee kamers, waarvan er één Shanyu Selection was. Ik kreeg een kamer op de derde verdieping. Het uitzicht was fantastisch en onberispelijk. Ons gezin van vier boekte een ouder-kindsuite. Omdat er in totaal slechts vier kamers van dit type zijn, zei de receptie dat er geen kamers op de bovenverdieping zijn Ik woon op de eerste verdieping, maar ik kan niets doen. Zodra ik de kamer binnenkwam, had ik het gevoel dat het... De scherpe geur kwam in mijn gezicht en prikte in mijn ogen. Het was duidelijk formaldehyde en schadelijke gassen van de nieuwe kamer decoratie! Er is slechts een kleine deur van minder dan een meter breed in de extra grote kamer, die geopend kan worden voor ventilatie, maar er is geen horraam. Hoe kunnen we hier leven? Hun verklaring is dat het in het westen gedroogd wordt, waardoor de geur sterker is! Ik vroeg meteen om van kamer te veranderen. Na wat rondvragen kreeg ik te horen dat er op de vierde verdieping een ouder-kindkamer was, maar het was geen suite, wat betekende dat ik was gedegradeerd! Ik kan het accepteren, zolang het maar niet zo groot ruikt! Ik vroeg de receptie of het prijsverschil aan mij zou worden terugbetaald, en hij zei dat ik het aan de baas moest vragen. Nadat hij het steeds opnieuw had gevraagd, zei hij dat de prijs onlangs was aangepast en dat hij niet wist hoe hij ermee om moest gaan. Zijn baas stemde er zelfs mee in om de kamer te veranderen en maakte geen melding van de terugbetaling van het prijsverschil! Ik heb Ctrip gecontroleerd en kon de prijs van dit hotel niet vinden toen ik het boekte! Dus belde ik de klantenservice van Ctrip en het probleem was opgelost! Mijn ervaring tijdens mijn verblijf was dat de obers of de receptie misschien onervaren waren en onvoldoende in staat waren om met problemen om te gaan, en dat de leiders niet het vermogen hadden om leiding te geven, dus ik voelde niet de kwaliteit die ik zou moeten hebben! Er zijn nog veel gebieden die verbetering behoeven! Maar dat gezegd hebbende, dit hotel heeft een geweldige locatie, geweldige faciliteiten, kamerindeling en uitzicht! Nog steeds een aanrader! Ik vraag me echter af of de aangepaste prijs een groot aantal mensen zal afschrikken! Ook: het toilet in de kamer waar we in verbleven had een slechte geur! De laatste tijd hebben de buurtbewoners geklaagd over de rooklucht in de omgeving, die hun keel verstikt. Als ze een fietstocht maken, kunnen ze naar vuur ruiken! Degenen die strenge eisen stellen aan de luchtkwaliteit, wordt afgeraden om onlangs naar Chongzuo te gaan."

"Het beste hotel dat ik tijdens mijn reis naar Guangxi ben tegengekomen! De binnenplaats maakte de diepste indruk op me; het glazen rijstveld, de bloemrijke paden en het kronkelende tuinontwerp zorgden allemaal voor aangename verrassingen! Het pad naast het zwembad leidde direct naar het startpunt van de Mingshi-rivierfietsroute. Het hotel leende fietsen uit, en we fietsten helemaal naar de ingang van de Lux, waarbij we het prachtige landschap van Mingshi bekeken. Erg handig! De accommodatie heeft een rustieke, maar smaakvolle inrichting. Snacks en fruit waren vrij verkrijgbaar, en de tuin met het rijstveld en het café was gratis toegankelijk, wat fantastisch was. Ik heb er veel mooie foto's gemaakt! De butlers waren ook erg vriendelijk!"

"We really enjoyed our stay there! The hotel is clean and just few minutes walking from the waterfall. Many thanks to the woman at the reception. She was so attentive and caring! She helped me with the heavy luggage all the time! Also she helped us to buy day tickets to the waterfall and tickets to the night show. Both were fantastic! We asked her to help us to get back to Nanning. And she explained us everything in details- how to get to the bus stop and find the driver there. She actually contacted the driver and sent us the picture of the bus, so it was easier for us to find him. As we’re foreigners in China some simple things are complicating for us. Thanks to Lin all those matters were easy for us! ❤️❤️❤️"

"The hotel is a little far from Chongzuo but you can hire a Didi for about 380RMB from the chongzuo train station. The hotel is located in a beautiful park where you can take a walk and see the 100 doors (I think it was called) and walk all the way to the border post 3. It's was surreal. Across the river you can see Vietnamese house and people. we waved. a drone showed up we left. To go to the waterfall we walked from the hotel to the tourist center. About a 45 minute walk. Not bad once you get there. The hotel is old and starting to show the tear. You can tell it was once great but no renovations have been made in forever. The carpet had stains on it. not tiny ones. The little mini balcony was dusty. The bed was big but on the hard side. The towels are frazzling it was unbelievable. The breakfast , if you are not full on on Chinese breakfast its a no no. AND no coffee EVEN though the COFFEE MACHINE looked like it had just been plugged off. sign sating being fixed. come on .It's a 4 diamond rating but it felt more like 2. It's also smaller than it links in the video and pics. There's an awesome restaurant at the entrance on the right. It made a whole lotta difference. Highly reccomend eating here. And we did!Twice. Food was not bad. definitely order the ribs. The staff is nice especially the restaurant lady. Would I stay again? NO"
