"We hadden kamer 3. Die was groot en ruim, maar het bed was smal. De matras was veel te hard voor ons. Helaas hoorde je de drukte op straat al vrij vroeg, rond 7 of 8 uur 's ochtends, door de ramen. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en met uitzicht op het dakterras. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk 👍"

"We werden tweemaal gefactureerd voor ons verblijf en ondanks talloze pogingen sinds 2024 om dit probleem op te lossen en een terugbetaling te krijgen, heeft het hotel ons volledig genegeerd. Dit is geen klein misverstand of onbeduidend probleem: het is een onopgeloste dubbele factuur in combinatie met een totaal gebrek aan communicatie. We hebben meerdere keren contact opgenomen met het hotel zonder enige reactie te ontvangen. Klanten te veel in rekening brengen en vervolgens weigeren te reageren is zeer onprofessioneel en onacceptabel. Op basis van deze ervaring raden we dit hotel absoluut af. Controleer uw bankafschriften zorgvuldig, want verwacht in geval van problemen geen hulp of verantwoordelijkheid. Extra geld van gasten innen en vervolgens weigeren te reageren is onprofessioneel en onacceptabel. Op basis van onze ervaring kunnen we dit hotel niet aanbevelen. Controleer uw bankafschriften zorgvuldig, want als er iets misgaat, verwacht dan geen hulp of verantwoording. Als u het nog strenger wilt (bijna bruut, maar nog steeds veilig), of als u wilt vermelden hoe lang geleden het verblijf was of hoeveel u te veel betaald heeft, kan ik het verder aanscherpen."

"Met een bootje vanaf de haven van Hydra ben je in 10 minuten op dit leuke strandje. €10,- pp voor een retour. Er staan veel bedjes. Kiezelstrand en ook stenen om de zee in te kunnen. Waterschoentjes zijn fijn maar had ik niet mee. €9,- voor een halve liter wijn en €20,- voor 2 bedjes en een parasol. We zijn daar later gaan eten en hebben kunnen genieten van een prachtige sunset. We namen pita brood met olijfolie, een Griekse salade, courgette frietjes en gebakken calamari’s. Alles was heerlijk.ik moest €50,- afrekenen voor het eten en een halve liter wijn. Om 20 uur namen we de boot in het donker weer terug naar Hydra stad. Je kunt het ook in 45 minuten lopen."

Wish they served breakfast in the lovely kitchen and patio area but there are plenty of spots nearby for breakfast. When I come back I will ask for a room on the first or second floor, steps are steep to the top floor. The porter handled our luggage. Beautiful restored mansion!"
