"The hotel is in a good Location near the chanel. Very nice beer brewery with a big variety of beer is just across the Chanel . Fish market and train station in 10 minutes by steps. There is the perfect big onsen on the top with great view on the sea. All three days I visited it I was alone. Breakfast was ok, but not as gorgeous as I expected. The room was clean and quite big. The furniture is a little old but in good condition."

Located just a pleasant 20-minute drive from Otaru Station, the hotel is nestled in a tranquil, private area that feels like stepping into a captivating wonderland. I was delighted to discover a bus stop right across from the hotel, making it effortlessly convenient to explore the surroundings. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us warmly by name, and they were incredibly helpful with our luggage. Taking off our shoes upon entering the hotel created a feeling of comfort and cleanliness that made us feel right at home. After a smooth check-in process, during which they confirmed our breakfast time, the staff graciously guided us through the hotel, sharing helpful information about opening hours for various amenities. Our room was beautifully adorned in traditional Japanese style, complete with an open-air bath. Enjoying this serene experience during the winter was simply magical! We also savored a delectable Kaiseki dinner in our room, which was not only a feast for our taste buds but also left us delightfully satisfied. The onsens were a real highlight, featuring an adjacent sauna. With daily alternating access for women and men every other day, we were able to enjoy both during our stay. Families will find this hotel exceptionally accommodating, thanks to its variety of playrooms and relaxation spaces catering to guests of all ages. Plus, the complimentary refreshments and bar in the lobby until 10 PM added a lovely touch to our experience. Breakfast was a true delight, with a peaceful view of the snow outside the restaurant, enhancing the serene atmosphere. On our departure day, the hotel thoughtfully arranged a shuttle bus to take us to the JR station, making our exit seamless and convenient. Looking back, our only regret is that we stayed just one night—I can't wait to return and immerse myself in a different season's beauty. This hotel is now firmly on my list for future visits, and I’m already looking forward to the next adventure!"

"The hotel is quite dated. Can see that the decor, furniture etc are all probably seen decades of use. Regardless, the location was great - just outside the train station. I can leave my luggage immediately and go sightseeing. Breakfast too was great. The eggs were so good. Finally, there’s natural hot springs too that was amazing after a tiring day."

"Very convenient location if you are into skii/snowboarding. It’s quite centralized to majority of the slopes and only 30mins drive to Otaru town. Only downside there is no food nearby by the hotel itself has 2 restaurant. The Japanese one was superb, good food with reasonable price, sadly only open few days a week."

"讚讚讚！！！環境及服務超級好！！ 我哋較夜到達酒店，司機搵唔到門口，幫我哋搵，點知隔咗一陣，就有職員跑落嚟問我哋係咪訂咗房，真係跑！！再司機泊車位置，之後幫我哋攞哂行李，又係跑上去！！！服務好到我哋全家呆咗！！ 入到酒店，空氣調節得非常好，因為外面係-10度，但室內好暖，又唔焗，所以好舒服，房間唔算大，但有齊傳統日式房間嘅嘢，擺設都好靚，不過如果行李較大同較多，就會變得好迫，但其實有家的感覺。 因為一泊二食，所以有齊晚餐早餐，都係精緻懷石料理，每餐也有職員提前到房間帶領我哋到餐廳，自己一個房間，沒有任何人打擾。 溫泉區有室內同室外，不算大，但足夠，我哋浸咗兩次都碰唔到人，包場，正！！ Check out 後，職員鞠躬到見唔到我哋架車！！有哂傳統日本人嘅禮儀！！！ 呢間我哋一定會再嚟體驗！！！"

"An excellent location for playing golf at Sassoon Golf Club, just a few minutes from the golf course. The hotel provides clean and spacious rooms, big onsen bath and breakfast of good choice. If you play golf in Otaru, it’s the best choice."

"這次來小樽，在這家酒店住了兩晚，特別滿意！酒店前台和工作人員服務態度真的特別特別好，入住體驗超棒！酒店裡有温泉，早餐晚餐也準備得很豐盛，晚餐是在一個單獨的小和室，私密性很好！出行方面，門口就是巴士站，坐巴士去市區很便利，另外酒店早上九點半也有免費的接駁車可以到市區的巴士站，總之特別滿意的一次入住！再次誇獎一下服務態度，真的很棒～住得很開心的兩天！"

"優點：自然環境不錯，周邊綠水青山，空氣清新，晚上可以看到滿天星星。 缺點：離市區較遠，周邊衹有一家大型酒店可以提供餐飲服務。房間沒有吹風機、沒有燒開水的壺（吹風機在前台共用，走廊有共用的提供開水的飲水機）。房間沒有桌子，放東西不方便。提供的房型與攜程描述的不一樣（沒有沙發）。"

"I really love this winkel village! It's just a short walk to Asarigawaonsen Ski Resort for skiing. We can enjoy BBQs even in winter and the private outdoor onsen right outside the room is a huge bonus for my family. Definitely planning to return! Great value for the money. Note: We took a taxi from Otaru Station to Winkel Village and it cost around 5,000 yen. The price was reasonable too."
