Melbourne Hostels

I stayed in Box Hill motel between 3rd of Nov'23 - 5th of Nov'23. My husband and I arrived at Box Hill motel around 12-1pm. We were so exhausted as we took turn driving from Sydney - Melbourne. We drove from Sydney past midnight. Upon calling if we would be let in early, surprisingly it is allowed. Otherwise we would have slept in the car until check-in time if the room isn't ready yet. We got room no.1 and it was very clean. I didn't use the towel as I prefer to use my own towel, my husband also use his own towel. One of the hanging towel though had a snot on it and I put that towel aside despite we didn't use it. There were 3x plates in total and one of the plate was dirty and I assumed previous guest must have used this 1 plate and didn't wash it but instead just slipped it in between the clean plate. We used 2x plates for ourselves but I washed the 3x plates myself. Great Wifi speed too as I was able to complete a little bit of work from Room no.1. My parents always taught me to appreciate and respect people's places. Upon checking out, I saw Carol and OMG, she is so kind, friendly, down to earth and helpful. She was busy rolling people's luggage to their room. I remember my father always taught me the great businessman is not the one who always wanted to be served but the one who knew how to serve others first. There's a saying about ”servant leadership”. A great leader know how it feels to be at the bottom to observe, learn and serving others as well as better appreciate the top and experience various roles to understand the duties and responsibilities of each roles. THANK YOU Box hill motel team and Carol too for allowing us to stay at your beautiful clean and tidy place. We were able to sleep very soundly, hope nobody can hear us snoring :) I highly recommend Box Hill motel, Melbourne to anyone on a trip to Melbourne.

Ons verblijf was over het algemeen bevredigend en we zouden hier zeker weer verblijven. De kamers zelf waren schoon, comfortabel en ruim, de tv's werkten prima, het personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam en de locatie was prima voor ons, met gratis parkeren. Ik heb een paar kleine suggesties voor verbetering: 1) Controleer uw kamers voordat gasten inchecken, inclusief de kluisjes, om er zeker van te zijn dat alles in orde is. Mijn kluis was op slot en er werd iets onaangenaams in aangetroffen toen hij uiteindelijk werd geopend! 2) Zorg ervoor dat de kamers allemaal zijn opgemaakt tegen de tijd dat gasten terugkomen. De andere twee met wie ik reisde, klaagden een paar keer dat hun kamers niet waren opgemaakt. 3) Als er iets niet werkt, bijvoorbeeld de wasmachine, hang dan direct een bordje buiten met de melding dat het defect is. Verder geen klachten, en zoals gezegd, ik zou hier zeker terugkomen!

Comfortable rooms, prime location and delicious breakfast made our stay unforgettable. Friendly staff, spotless cleanliness and excellent amenities. Highly recommended.

Perfect stay for a simple trip. Stayed at the single bed room. The room is small but just enough for my short stay. Room was clean & it has everything you expected for a budget hotel: Tea/coffee, milk on the fridge and toileteries. Wifi speed is good for browsing (Approx 40-50Mbps) The only downside is: Their hotel key is using old technology and easily demagnetised. I happen to put it next to my Airpods and it loses the magnetism.

I have stayed here a few times , mostly on stop overs ,nor if having an early flight, getting to the airport with shuttle is easy Sometimes it's a little hard to get hold of them for the shuttle so call as soon as you can, but returning to airport now always pre booked and simple The rooms are spacious, and clean, as are towels tv works great , there is a small kettle.and fridge, coffees and teas with small UHT milks The bathroom is spacious and shower great. No complaints, I've never eaten the breakfast, not tried the happy hour drinks yet but the happy hour sounds good. There is a room service menu available. The laundry and gym are very basic but it's an airport hotel The pool seems fine.

Check-in was quite smooth as they could retrieve my booking very quickly. I was able to check in at 2 pm on time, which was good. The room was very basic but it's true to the photos advertised. The room is clean and well kept and comes with a microwave, toaster and electric kettle. Bedding was average, but overall, this motel is very well located with a 24-hour Mac just beside and Coles within walking distance. I booked a family room for 4, so I would expect 4 sets of plates, bowls, metal spoon, and forks. There were only 2 bowls, 2 small plates, 2 large plates, and one metal dining knife, so it would be better for the hotel to provide these based on the number of guests expected for the room. Otherwise, it's really a good place to stay for its location and cleanliness.

Goed personeel laat ons controleren, er zijn warme matten op de matten, en de kamer is zeer schoon en ruime. Er is een verwarmer, maar de warme lucht is niet langer de kant van de kamer bereikt. Nabij het maanlicht heiligdom voor degenen die willen blijven dichtbij.

The location is good, it is just a few minutes to Box Hill center, where you could find most you want.also it is close to train station. The apartment is spacious and with all amenities you need

The single room shared bathroom, I did not expect to have no air conditioning, 38 degrees high temperature can not sleep before midnight.

1.地理位置很好，離著名的維媽市場很近，對面就是維媽市場，早上6點就可以去吃海鮮。 2.離SKYBUS的上車點也不遠，走大概500米，坐兩站電車，再走500米就到了。墨爾本的電車免費，坐起來很方便。 3.離市中心大概2站電車就到了，離墨爾本大學，國家圖書館都不遠。附近走路200米有超市，樓下有亞洲超市和餐廳，吃飯不是問題。離唐人街也不遠。 4.青旅在樓上，要拎着箱子爬樓。前台是中國人，交流起來很絲滑。 5.廚房在二樓，碗和刀叉不多，鍋多，煮的鍋，煎的鍋一堆。 6.房間衞生一般，我住的是女子8人間，有尿騷味。一起來玩的同行人的飛機比我早一天，所以我沒有多訂酒店，衹湊合了一晚，就趕飛機走了。湊合一個晚上，如果長期住的話，要跳一個好點的床鋪。 7.我們房間有個50來歲的長者，很有勇氣。 8.廚房做飯的時候，感覺所有人吃的都很簡單，不論華人面孔還是洋人面孔，都是吃泡麪，衹有我買了蝦和三文魚去做。有個印度人做咖喱雞。廚房有免費的開水可以接。
