Tophotels met fitnessruimte in Sapporo

After spending six days in MGallery Hotel Sapporo, I can safely say this is not an ordinary hotel. Reception at 5 pm was professional, efficient and friendly. I didn’t have to wait. Well done. Takako and Cindy provided a warm, informative and professional service. The concierge was helpful and welcoming. Very useful in a freezing outdoor climate - thank you Alex.  My room was as requested, 524. I booked a king room and it met my expectations. The design is lovely.  The bathroom is not huge, but is well appointed with a bath and a separate shower. The room is very quiet and I had a very pleasant sleeping experience.  The hotel and my room are in excellent condition, with a high standard of decor and presentation. Clearly recently renovated. The design is first class. It combines a beautiful Japanese style, with classical and traditional designs. The result is very pleasant - Chic! WiFi worked well. The room airconditioning was a little too hot for me, so I turned it off, and that was fine for me. The two guest’s lifts are fast and worked well over the six floors.  House keeping is also of a high standard as you would expect from a high end Accor hotel. This is especially so in Japan where service is an art form.  I had access to the executive lounge.  It was a good experience. It provides a comfortable and cosy atmosphere, and the food quality is nice. The chefs are friendly and caring, thank you James. The lounge staff are first class. Thank you very much to Yokiku, Kaumini and chief Minoru for your attentive and excellent service. I appreciated your kind service.  The only negative I am sorry to say is the occasional noisy foreigners who don’t appreciate the quiet, polite, refined and subtle Japanese culture.  The location is convenient, and is about 15 minutes easy walk from the main Shinkansen station. Being in a built up area there aren’t any views of parks etc, but rather the city landscape. The hotel is 5-10 minutes walk to a variety of wonderful shopping areas.  Additionally, there are major shopping malls in the Shinkansen station area. Nearby, you can find many restaurants that should suit most people’s cuisine, budget and type of food.  Taxies are available at the hotel entrance. Buses and subway stations are nearby and provide access to various parts of the city. There are several attractions within 30-60 minutes of the hotel such as temples, museums and regional attractions. Ms Takako provided excellent suggestions.  To be fair, I read the Hotel’s web reviews. I noticed that the negative comments were from years ago, before the hotel became an Accor hotel two years ago. I noticed most of the more recent reviews are positive.  A special thank you to all the other warm staff for their excellent and polite hospitality. Having experienced hotels in every continent, this one stands out. The service and attention to detail is in a class of its own. Clearly, this is a special Hotel - undoubtedly, due to the hotel’s leadership.   Finally, a heartfelt thank you to the General Manager, Mr Ted Kitahara, and his management team. Mr Ted introduced himself to me by chance. He made me feel very welcome, and was most kind to enlighten me about the hotel’s design and its interesting history. I hope to meet the Japanese architect one day! Overall, an extremely pleasant and first-class experience. I look forward to visiting again.  Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Since this is a new hotel and there aren't many reviews yet, I wanted to provide a detailed review of my stay. The staff can communicate in English. The room for 4 people didn't have much space to open luggage, but it was very comfortable to sleep in. The beds were soft, and there were two types of pillows: soft and firm, neatly separated. Pajamas were also provided and were comfortable to wear. The bathroom was the best part; even though there was no bathtub, the water system was modern and could spray water from all directions. The breakfast was standard, with curry, grilled salmon, rice, Hokkaido milk, and grilled corn. There's paid parking nearby. There's a Lawson convenience store just around the corner.

My first trip to Sapporo was made truly amazing by staying at this hotel. The location is flawless—easily accessible from Exit 8 or 10 of the Sapporo Underground Walkway, which connects directly to the Namboku Line Sapporo Station. This makes commuting effortless even during rainy or snowy weather. The hotel’s exterior and lobby are elegantly designed, but the most captivating feature is its view—it directly faces the ”Former Hokkaido Government Office,” and the scenery is as picturesque as a painting. The room was incredibly spacious; even with three large suitcases fully opened, there was still plenty of room to move around comfortably. As for the facilities and dining: the breakfast on the 2nd floor offers a lavish spread of seafood delicacies full of Hokkaido’s local flavors. The public bath is also spacious, featuring both hot and cold pools as well as a sauna, which was perfect for relieving travel fatigue. Toiletries are provided in the lobby on the 1st floor for guests to pick up as needed. Overall, this hotel offers a perfect balance between strategic location and high-quality accommodation. I highly recommend it for both business and leisure travelers!

Reisde met een groep van 3 volwassenen en vond het moeilijk om een kamer te vinden met een redelijke prijs. Ik heb gemaild en besefte dat ze open zijn voor 3 gasten zolang u extra prijs (5,500/night) voor een bankbed dat redelijk was. Ik heb het verblijf genoten, vooral de onsenfaciliteit. Ik zal zeker terugkomen!

The hotel is small. Lobby located on the first floor and it looks like a budget hotel reception and lobby. I thought Mercure is an international chain so I expect better. Room size is pretty small but still acceptable. Hotel doesn't give much amenities like other Japan hotels that I used to stay. They just provide shower caps, razor and comb. There is no lotion, skincare products, toothbrush (need to pay) and etc. Bathroom is small so basically I sit down to take my bath. The best thing of this hotel is the location. Located in Susukino and very near to subway stations and the Nikka instagrammable location. Also, their free coffee at the lobby taste really good and I drink it every morning. You can also store your luggage with the hotel and come back to check-in again in few days time if you travel to other cities.

Really happy with the stay of 9 days there with this good rates. Room is spacious for 2 and the bathroom is very comfortable with great toilet facilities. It is way better than the photos online. You can drink the tap water directly as it is from the underground natural creek of various healthy minerals even though they provide free bottled snow mountain water every day. Love the shuttle bus services provided from and to hotel on a quite frequent daily timetable easy for us to get to the ice sculpture festival at Odori, and JR station for transportation. Ice cream and coffee jelly ice cream dessert is another reason to visit. Their buffet breakfast is hearty yet delicate very delicious. Overall we have a great stay there and would recommend those travel to Sapporo.

I had a wonderful stay at ibis Styles Hotel Sapporo during my trip to Hokkaido. The location is excellent — close to the Susukino area, with easy access to restaurants, convenience stores, and the subway. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, much larger than most city hotels in Japan. Staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready with a smile, making check-in and check-out smooth and pleasant. The hotel also provides convenient parking and luggage storage, which made our road trip so much easier. We especially appreciated the cozy atmosphere and thoughtful touches in the room. After long days exploring Sapporo and nearby attractions, it felt like coming home. Overall, it’s great value for money and ideal for families or travelers visiting Hokkaido. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort and convenience in Sapporo!

Overall experience was good, location is excellent. Very convenient to go to and from New Chitose airport by bus, Susukino metro is 5 mins walk. I like that they have coin laundry, vending machine and public bath in the hotel. Water in the public bath was a little too hot (probably over 45oC) but I guess that's normal to Japanese. The only thing I don't like is that the check in time is stiff 15:00 whether the room is vacant or not, but that's still acceptable.

The hotel in very good location but rooms is extremely small , barely has space to open the luggage on the floor , room size is only 18 SQM , they never publish the room size on the room details , photos on the listing is misleading as it show the rooms is big but actually its extremely small , Toilet is miserable small and has 40 CM step to climb , if you have senior person be ready to assist every time that person need to go to toilet. Breakfast , i tried once and never repeated as it doesn't worth it . Im frequent traveller and i don't normally write reviews but for this hotel i have to write to be sure no one got the same disappointment i got when i saw the room . Good luck

学会があったのでいく用事あったが、子供にも楽しい思い出をと思ってプールがあるここに子供連れて泊まりました。 朝のブッフェも美味しかった。ウォータースライダー2本やってないから週末のウォータースライダー毎日今月だけらしい。なくても21:00までプールで遊べてその後温泉でゆったりでした。
