"We wisten niet wat we moesten verwachten toen we in Port Vila aankwamen, maar onze chauffeur van het hotel was al daar op ons wachten. In het hotel werd ons gegroet met een welkom lied en het personeel was zeer vriendelijk ons de introductie van het hotel te geven.  De villa voelde zich ruime en schoon, bedden comfortabel, maar TV-kanalen waren beperkt en de TV een beetje moedig.  Er is een kleine maar functionele fitnessruimte die ik waardeerde.  We waren heel beïnvloed door het eten. De heerlijke drie cursus maaltijden voor lunch en diner en een goede selectie van à la carte maaltijden voor ontbijt.  We hebben ook de extra activiteiten gratis aangeboden, zoals de zonlicht cruise en het picnic op het eiland.  Ze bieden ook mooie massages, maar ze zijn niet goedkoop.  Een voorstellen voor verbetering zou zijn om een paar basisdrankjes te bieden met de maaltijden die ik op dat prijsbereik verwacht."

"The hotel is about a 40-minute drive from the city center and is not very large. It has its own beach and small pier. Guests can use canoes and SUPs for free; masks need to be rented. It's recommended to rent a car. The hotel charges 7000 VAT for a one-way trip to the city center, and 30,000 VAT for a full day's use with a driver. They don't give room keys; they say it's only for staff and guests, so there's nothing to worry about. Even our room door was difficult to close properly, so we just left it open. The food at the hotel wasn't very good. Breakfast was okay, but the penne pasta we ordered for lunch was extremely salty, and the fish burger for dinner had a bread as hard as a baguette. The pizza was okay, and the fries were good. The scenery is beautiful. We stayed for four nights, but lunch and dinner were the most inconvenient."

Vanuatu Beachfront Apartments

"After a failed attempt to visit Vanuatu earlier in the year, I finally got to stay for 4 nights at this lovely accommodation. It was close to where family members were staying but in my opinion, I was the winner. Establishment is out of Vila but set beachfront on a crescent of sand which at the time I went was almost deserted. 5 minutes walk to the jetty that will take you to Hideaway Island if you would like to spend some time there to snorkel or SCUBA. Also, buses are readily available at the jetty to take you wherever you'd like to go - supermarket or into Vila. The staff at Beachfront are amazing! Friendly, happy and always ready to help out. True hospitality. I loved my chats with them. Beachfront is a small no-frills apartment complex which is kept beautifully clean and where things work as they should. Beds and pillows are great. You have your own cooking facilities and seating area even in a studio and is a very comfortable place to stay. Push bikes can be borrowed if you'd like to cycle to the supermarket rather than take a bus but equally, you can walk. There is a bar and lovely food cooked on the premises to enjoy in your apartment or around the pool. The food is great and the home baked bread! Oh my goodness ... yum! I would definitely return and highly recommend if you are looking for a totally relaxing beach stay with no fuss but great hospitality. "

South Pacific Memories

"South Pacific Memories is a few kms outside of Port Vila set on the beach. The Beach is mostly coral but is teaming with life (mainly hermit crabs). We found the owners (Peter and Anna) to be absolutely lovely and very passionate and knowledgeable about the area especially what lives in the water. If you are a scuba diver who loves marine life then a dive there is a must. I have never seen so may Nudibranches in a single dive and the rest of the marine life comes out to put on a show. I dove with Anna and she points out the most interesting things. The rooms are large and comfortable. The food is fantastic and they are very accommodating to dietary requirements."

"Went with my Dad and met friends who booked here. They said it was a horrible place to stay and refused to stay there. We didn't believe them until we say the place for ourselves. They lost all their booking money too because Virgin and Hotels by Hopper refused to believe the owners had let the place fall to crap ."

"Dit is onze vijfde reis naar The Moso. We hebben gebleven in villa 6 met uitstekende uitzichten en een geweldige layout, villa 7 heeft prachtig uitzicht en een geweldig zwembad, villa 4, en twee keer nu in villa 12. Villa 12 is een strandpool villa met koraalmuren en dagbed op het dak om te ontspannen en genieten van het uitzicht van Havana Harbour. Het is een korte wandeling langs de waterfront om de bar en restaurant te krijgen. Het is luxe. Als het je eerste reis naar Moos Island is, moet je weten dat er geen winkels zijn, omdat er geen winkels zijn, geen cafés, geen nachtclubs, geen wegen, geen auto's, geen taxi's. Het is een eiland in de zuidelijke Stille Oceaan, dus als je wilt gaan clubbing of winkelen, is dit niet voor je. Als je wilt doen eiland dingen en snorkelen op een van de mooiste privéstranden die ik ooit heb geweest, dan is dit de plek voor je. Amanda, Sean en Gideon bieden uitstekende vriendelijke diensten in de bar en restaurant. Het team op het front desk kan dagreizen voor u organiseren. De ronde van het eiland is uitstekende, net als de zeilenreis op majoor Tom met Sailing Vanuatu. Kom naar The Moso om te ontspannen in je privé zwembad en probeer de 2.5km over te lopen naar Embas Beach voor wereldklasse snorkeling over zachte en harde koraal. We blijven volgen jaar na jaar."
