Hotels in Shuanglang Scenic Area, Dali

Veel mensen weten niet dat na Dalí's ecologische rode lijn-actie de enige B&B's aan het water in Shuanglang overblijven. Mijn verblijf in het Sanse Yunhe Erhai-filiaal was fantastisch! De locatie is perfect. Het terras van de kamer met zeezicht kijkt uit over het glinsterende meer, waardoor je vanuit bed prachtige zonsondergangen kunt bewonderen. Het interieur is opvallend, met groen verspreid over de binnenplaats en de witte architectuur die een minimalistische, luxueuze esthetiek oproept. Elke foto is een meesterwerk. De kamer was goed uitgerust en functioneel, het beddengoed was zacht en comfortabel, en de badkamerartikelen waren van hoge kwaliteit en heerlijk geurend. Ik heb er spijt van dat ik ze vergeten was mee te nemen toen ik vertrok. De netheid was onberispelijk, elk hoekje was brandschoon. Van de receptie tot het huishoudelijk personeel, iedereen was gastvrij en attent. Butler Wang was bijzonder attent en hielp proactief met bagage en reisroutes. De kamerprijs was inclusief een voortreffelijke afternoon tea en een dessert 's avonds. Het ontbijt was bijzonder prijzenswaardig, met een ruime keuze aan gerechten, waaronder heerlijke lokale rijstnoedels. De kinderen kregen ook een niet-pittige rijstnoedelschotel met kippenbouillon, waar ze dol op waren. Ik kreeg ook speciale souvenirs bij het uitchecken. De reisfotografieservice die ze aanbieden is ook geweldig. De fotografen zijn zeer kundig. Er zijn veel incheckplekken in de B&B zelf. De foto's die ze maken zijn sfeervol. Een echte aanrader!

The location of the inn was in one of the alleys facing Erhai and they contacted us to connect with them using wechat so they could transport our luggages to the hotel from the nearest parking lot. They also gave a complimentary photography session of 30mins and 5 free photos. Teabreak of fruits and drinks also provided and have a ‘butler’ to attend to you. Would have given a higher review if the service rendered the next day was consistent with day 1. Day 2 during breakfast, no one greeted us. There was a staff at the counter preparing drinks but didn’t even make any attempt to have eye contact. We ordered breakfast from kitchen staff and overheard from another table even though they were asked if they have any allergies or food that they don’t take, staff never passed the message to kitchen. No one came to offer any coffee or tea. While in the room doing last minute packing, the cleaners knocked on the door a few times as if trying to rush you . When I opened the door there were 3 cleaners outside the room waiting but they told me knocked on the wrong room! Disappointed with the service’!

The best hotel experience of this trip is mainly due to the hotel's service. The butler, Liu, is very attentive and meticulous, which is the best service I've ever experienced. Super awesome!!! The hotel scenery is beautiful, located on the edge of Shuanglang Scenic Area, and every angle is very photogenic. The room facilities are complete and considerate, and there are very complete supplies for children, clean and tidy. There is a fruit plate when we arrive. In the evening, they also send good night milk, and the children really like the kittens in the shop. Butler Liu introduced the surrounding attractions, delicious food, and matters needing attention in detail, really considering for customers, and the experience is super good. Next time I come to Dali, I will stay here again👍

De kamer was geweldig. We boekten een kamer met zeezicht. Wakker worden met de blauwe lucht, weelderige groene bergen en de azuurblauwe zee was perfect voor een ontspannende vakantie. Parkeren was handig, beneden aan de weg. Tijdens de nationale feestdag waren de granaatappels van de eigenaar rijp, dus bracht hij ze voor ons mee om van te genieten. 's Middags kregen we versgeperst granaatappelsap, wat superlekker was. Ik dronk drie glazen granaatappelsap terwijl ik met de eigenaar kletste. Ik was er erg blij mee. De prijs-kwaliteitverhouding was uitstekend. Het hotel was erg schoon, net geopend en superschoon. De voorzieningen waren compleet en een verse ananasdecoratie vulde de kamer met een heerlijke, natuurlijke geur.

If you're looking for a quiet place with an amazing view, this is the perfect stay.We spent two nights here, and though reaching popular attractions (on the other side of 洱海 took extra time, the stunning view from our room more than made up for it—plus, Didi made getting around easy. It’s a great spot to simply unwind and relax, and the breakfast was delicious too! This place is definitely on our list for future trips to 大理.

First time being in Dali and we moved over to Shuanglang (双廊) from Dali Gucheng (大理古城) to explore the east side of Erhai. The location is about a 5-10min walk from Shuanglang Guzhen's South Entrance （双廊古镇南门口）. However, the place is located on top of a hill. Hence, we needed to contact the butler (管家/客服) to chauffeur us from below to the place or vice versa when we needed to head out. While there's no lift, the butler was also really helpful to carry our luggage up and down the apartment. See pictures for reference of the view of our room - really beautiful. Our room is fairly clean, with house cleaning everyday. Just a thing to note is there's no area to hang your clothes in the shower area 😅 In terms of service, they were really nice and helpful! Chauffeuring us up and down each time we went out~ just fyi, there's cooked breakfast at the pantry every morning! Not going to lie, it was a proper meal (a bowl of mixian noodles, with cut fruits and a boiled egg). For foreign guests like myself who don't have a local Chinese number, you can contact them via WeChat. Ps: if you're planning to travel around the cities, feel free to ask them if they can get discounted rides for you. Otherwise calling Didi (ride hailing service) or checking local tours can be helpful :)

📍Location: It’s located at Shuang Lang, next to Er Hai (the lake). Cars cannot drive into the hotel as the road is too narrow, but they have staff to help carry luggages and welcome us into the hotel. A 15 minutes chill walk to the ancient town. 👨🏻🔧 Service: The staff was really friendly. He will help us in understanding the road around and how to get to the ancient town and the recommend tourist spots. He even offered us tea. 🍵 💭 Thoughts: Shuang Lang was my first stop after Kun Ming, and it was really relaxing, I could enjoy a good view directly from my room, they offered tea bag and I could make tea and enjoy the sunset from my room, it was a really relaxing moment! The room was comfy and warm, the bathroom uses a slide door and partially gloss design.

The butler service is attentive and reliable. The scenery is superb, and the facilities are impeccable – with underfloor heating from the bathroom to the restaurant. The owner has excellent taste that perfectly matches my aesthetic. All the materials used are very solid. If you're on vacation, I recommend booking for several nights. My only regret is that I only booked one day. For breakfast, I suggest adding Western options like sandwiches. I really couldn't eat the rice noodles 😂. Next time I'm in Dali, I will definitely come back here.

De ramen zijn automatisch, de koelkast is verwarmd, de watertemperatuur is groot en vol, de warmte is goed, slimme warmte, en de intelligente kleinheid, kan zingen luisteren, slimme brander, en projectie, er is een koelkast, alles is heel comfortabel, het ontbijt van het hotel is ook zeer aardevol, De warme rijstlijn en de rijst en de eieren. Het is allemaal goed en rustig, blauw en elegant en de nacht en de melk in slaap, het is geweldig!

The biggest highlight of my trip to Dali was staying at this frontline sea-view guesthouse in Qingshan Village, Shuanglang Town. We originally booked a side sea-view room, but seeing the absolutely perfect weather in Dali, we changed to a full sea-view room last minute. It was a 10/10 experience, truly highly recommended! The guesthouse's sunny day views are absolutely stunning, an irreplaceable and healing panorama. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows in the rooms offer unobstructed views of Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake. On clear days, the crystal-clear blue sky merges with the turquoise waters of Erhai, and the sunlight sparkling on the lake creates a gentle, shimmering effect. Waking up to soft light in the morning, with light mists swirling around the distant mountains; in the afternoon, the sun bathes the courtyard and the lake; and in the evening, the sunset paints Erhai in a soft, orange-golden hue. Every frame of scenery needs no filter, and any casual photo becomes a stunning, healing masterpiece, allowing you to immerse yourself in the magnificent scenery of Cangshan and Erhai. This place perfectly embodies the slow pace of life in Dali, completely curing the fatigue of city life. Away from the hustle and bustle of the ancient town, Qingshan Village is exceptionally quiet and tranquil. There's no need to rush your itinerary; in the morning, enjoy a leisurely breakfast by the window, listening to the gentle breeze and the soft lapping of waves. In the afternoon, curl up on the sofa or a lounge chair on the terrace, reading or daydreaming, watching the clouds drift by. The guesthouse's atmosphere is gentle and relaxing, with no hurried pace, allowing you to unconsciously slow down and fully enjoy the leisure and freedom of solitude. The entire guesthouse exudes a strong vacation vibe. The simple, fresh decor is clean and elegant, and every detail in the public areas and rooms shows exquisite care. The viewing angles are superb, allowing you to embrace the mountain and sea scenery at any time. It offers excellent privacy, quiet and comfortable, far from the crowds, allowing you to enjoy a peaceful mountain and sea retreat all to yourself. Here, you can put aside all work and worries, spend your days by the Erhai Lake, and immerse yourself in the gentleness and romance of Dali – a truly relaxing and comfortable vacation experience. After just a few days of stay, I completely fell in love with the Cangshan Mountain, Erhai Lake, and the slow pace of life here. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Dali. It's truly perfect for a solo trip or a family vacation!
