Mijn vader liet de datakabel achter in het hotel, en mijn broertje bleef helpen hem keer op keer te vinden, bevestigde hem keer op keer, en hielp me zelfs met het opsturen ervan nadat hij hem gevonden had! I seldom write reviews after a stay, but Hampton is the biggest exception! I recall walking into the reception and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. There was a counter where snacks and drinks were free to enjoy while waiting to check in, which was nice for my parents and my kids to settle down after a long flight. Moreover, the room was neat and tidy, where pillows were soft and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was one of our favourite sessions of the day, there were so many delicious options to choose from, both western and Chinese food are equally scrumptious. We were supposed to pay for our kids’ breakfast, but the management was so kind to let them have it for free for the whole stay! Additionally, the housekeepers really did a great job. They were so nice to bring us extra free bottles of water every day, as well as new towels and the room was always kept neat and fresh. The customer service lasted even after we requested for a late check out, they gave us free gifts (Beautiful Luggage Tags). Who could’ve asked for more honestly! Five Stars for sure!

The hotel is located at the intersection of Qianxing Road and Guangfu Road, a prominent building easily visible from a distance. Drop-off and pick-up at the lobby entrance are very convenient. Dedicated parking spaces in the lot are clearly marked and easy to find, with some even equipped with charging stations. The front desk staff were warm, polite, and service-oriented. Check-in was efficient, and they proactively informed me about and guided me through complementary services like breakfast, Wi-Fi passwords, and the laundry room upon arrival. I was pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade. Upon entering, I found a handwritten card signed by ”Amber” and some welcome fruit on the table. The room also featured a capsule coffee machine. There was plenty of drinking water; in addition to room temperature water, the mini-bar had several bottles of chilled water. The central air conditioning maintained a comfortable temperature. The room was on a high floor with a wide view, offering a panoramic sight of the street below, and the Western Hills and Dianchi Lake in the distance. Overall, it's a great hotel, providing an excellent experience and good value for money, suitable for various accommodation needs.

I'm traveling around Asia for a few months, and most of my stays have been in 5-star hotels. This one is by far the best. It's newly built, the rooms are huge, and the interior design and quality are excellent. But the best part is the staff, they were all so helpful and made me feel right at home. Sometimes they had trouble with English, but that never stopped them from trying their best to help me during my stay. A special mention goes to Shirley at the front desk, she was incredibly helpful and professional. I'd love to have her on my business team. The staff here made me fall in love with Kunming and its people. I will definitely stay here again whenever I visit Kunming.

Stayed at a superior 2 bedroom. Was happy to get a corner, non smoking room as per request. One can enjoy great amenities with 24H gym, swimming pool and interior temperature control system. Hotel is quiet and located at 6km away from Kunming train station and about 30-40 mins away from Kunming Airport. Breakfast buffet is delicious with plenty of choices. Will choose again for the next stay at Kunming.

We stayed at the hotel for a night. This place deserves the 5 stars as the staff on duty at the front desk was very friendly, efficient. The snacks selling at the reception were great selection at a reasonable price. Breakfast was excellent. The coffee section was a brilliant idea!!! And Thank you for making our stay comfortable with you friendly and warm welcoming team.
