Hotels met ontbijt in Baguio

Pluspunten: De locatie is goed; er zijn supermarkten en restaurants beneden, en de restaurants kunnen maaltijden op de kamer bezorgen (ik weet niet zeker of alle restaurants dat kunnen). Het ontbijtbuffet is redelijk. Minpunten: De lobby was altijd druk; ik weet niet of het restaurantgasten waren die stonden te wachten om te eten of iets anders. Er stonden veel personeelsleden bij de ingang, maar ze waren allemaal aan het kletsen. Op de dag van aankomst, nadat ik mijn auto had geparkeerd en mijn koffer had gedragen, vroeg geen enkel personeelslid of ik wilde inchecken. Ik sloot me domweg aan bij de rij, om er vervolgens achter te komen dat het was om te betalen voor een maaltijd in het restaurant. Er was geen drinkwater op de kamer. De telefoon op de kamer had een ”0”. De receptie is 24 uur per dag geopend, maar tijdens mijn verblijf van drie dagen en twee nachten heeft niemand ook maar één keer opgenomen. Toen ik die avond wegging, vroeg ik een personeelslid in de lobby om drinkwater en handdoeken, maar er was niets geregeld toen ik terugkwam! Parkeren is gratis voor gasten; je krijgt een bonnetje, maar je moet het elke keer laten zien als je het hotel in- of uitrijdt. Waarom kunnen ze de kentekennummers van de gasten niet noteren voor een betere herkenning? Andere hotels/pensions waar ik in Baguio heb verbleven, hadden dit probleem niet. Bovendien parkeerden gasten (vermoedelijk restaurantgasten) en andere gasten allemaal op dezelfde parkeerplaats, waardoor er geen parkeerplekken meer over waren voor gasten. Ik vroeg de parkeerwachter of de lift in de parkeergarage de lobby kon bereiken, en er werd me verteld dat ik de trap moest nemen. Voor de schoonmaak van de kamer moet een bordje worden opgehangen; anders wordt de kamer niet schoongemaakt. Maar het bordje zat in de kledingkast.

This hotel has some good points: 1. Great buffet bfast with a variety of food selections. I like their dried fish, omelette, langgonisa, coffee, breads, fruits. But noticed they did not serve bananas. Staff looks attentive to the needs of guests. 2. Have greats restos and shops nearby. Also near the CJH Conference area. 3. Has ample parking and nice garden plus heated pool. However this hotel also needs improvement on the following areas: 1. Front desk looks like they are not coordinated. Made separate booking for three nights via Agoda and Trip.com and informed the hotel about this arrangement. However, after our first night, front desk asked us if we are extending our stay. Worst, they deactivated our key cards so we have to go down again to have them activated again which caused some inconvenience. 2. Toilet has a foul odor so called housekeeping who took some time to attend to us. They told us what to do to avoid the foul smell but some unpleasant smell still remained so reported this to the team leader who sent their engineering to check. The hotel staff told us they will return but never did. So problem was not solved. 3. Requested for late checkout since our trip back to Manila was still at 2pm. However, front desk cannot commit and said will require approval. We followed up and got no positive feedback. Called team leader and made complaints about issues 1-3 and had our request accepted. 4. Very difficult to book a taxi or grab and the guards said because of too many guests or tourists. But it’s a pity that such an expensive hotel also has no shuttles service. We booked this hotel because it’s near the conference area but disappointed because we felt we didn’t get the value and services we were expecting. Anyway, thanks to the great staff.

Returning Guest Disappointed – Urgent Improvement Needed Stay: 15-17/Nov/25 Status: Returning Guest We returned hoping for improvements after our last critical review, but found significant service failures persist. Management must urgently address these issues before our planned January visit. * Room Welcome: Cookies appreciated, but a Baguio Rose flower stalk would be a more meaningful gesture. * Housekeeping: Towels placed on the floor for replacement were simply re-hung; we had to call for clean ones. * Front Desk: Only one staff member on duty led to three unanswered calls at night. This poses a serious safety risk in an emergency. * Food (Breakfast): HORRIBLE quality. The buffet lacked creativity, was visually unappetizing, and items like the sausage were inedible. The Chef needs immediate supervision. Management/GM: Please give these critical points your special attention. We need to see positive improvements in January; otherwise, we will seek other accommodations.

Overall our stay was ok. But i would not recommend it for guests planning for a staycation . Pros: ●Rooms are big and shower area is spacious, and water pressure for showers, bidet, and faucet are strong. ● Breakfast buffet is good ●Hotel Staffs are friendly and approachable. ●View is nice Cons: ●Although the hotel is relatively new, the amenities appear poorly maintained.” Specially for the Pool area/Gym Area - Poor ventilation has caused the area to smell damp and moldy. ●8th floor, place is not very well lit, especially at night.” ●Pool hours is not consistent with what is posted online. Suggestions: Timely repairs are necessary to maintain guest safety and provide a relaxing stay.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️4/5 Our stay at Hotel Urban Khotel (Kurban Hotel) in Baguio was truly enjoyable. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff. They were consistently polite, attentive, and always willing to assist, which really made a difference in our overall experience. The cleanliness of the hotel is outstanding. Rooms, hallways, and common areas are spotless, and you can tell that housekeeping takes pride in their work. The rooms are well-kept, comfortable, and provide everything you need for a relaxing stay. Another highlight is the location. The hotel is conveniently situated—close enough to the heart of Baguio for easy access to popular spots, yet far enough to enjoy a calm and peaceful atmosphere. It’s a great balance for both relaxation and exploring the city. The unlimited breakfast was a pleasant surprise. The food was tasty and filling, giving us the energy we needed to start our day of sightseeing. A bit more variety in the menu would be nice for guests staying multiple nights, but overall, it was a great perk. What we really loved was the view from the hotel—absolutely beautiful and one of the things that makes this stay memorable. Waking up to the cool Baguio breeze and a nice view is definitely a bonus. Overall, Hotel Urban Khotel (Kurban Hotel) exceeded our expectations. Clean, well-located, friendly staff, delicious breakfast, and great views—everything you’d want in a Baguio getaway. Highly recommended, and we would definitely stay here again!

Loved our stay here. Very accessible to Burnham Park and on the main road. Offers free parking. Staff are welcoming. Easy check-in. Room is clean and tidy. Breakfast is delicious.

We recently stayed at this hotel, and overall, it was a good experience. The hotel itself is clean and well-maintained, with friendly and helpful staff who made our stay pleasant. The room was also clean and comfortable, especially the bathroom it was spotless, with no signs of prior use or any foul smells. However, the lack of an exhaust fan meant that any odors stayed trapped inside. Additionally, the room had no windows that could be opened for fresh air circulation. While there was an air conditioner, it still felt like the air wasn’t circulating well. Breakfast was just okay nothing special. The selection was quite limited, so you’re left with only what’s available. Compared to Elizabeth Hotel, which is more affordable and offers a more appetizing breakfast buffet with a wider variety, this was a bit of a letdown. As for amenities, the hotel offers a jacuzzi and a heated pool, which is great in theory. However, their location in the middle of a restaurant makes it awkward to use since you’ll likely have an audience while swimming. We also tried the Japanese restaurant on the mezzanine level. The food was good and affordable, but the sashimi was cut too thick about an inch which made it difficult to eat. Despite these minor inconveniences, I highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional cleanliness. If cleanliness is a top priority for you, this hotel is a great choice!

And sana include n lng din yung egg wag na on the spot n lulutuin ksi humahaba ang pila ⭐️⭐️ Best location ito if may sarili kang car😊 Yun nga lng malayo sa mismong town. Wala msyadong Taxi kaya no choice magpapabook k tlga ng GRAB (200+ ang taxi fare pag grab pero pag regular nsa 100 or less) One thing nakakahilo yung paakyat s main lobby ng hotel, spiral ramp ksi tpos ang tarik pag di sanay un mgdrive mhhirapn tlga ska sana may nag aassist dun sa pag akyat at pagbaba ng sasakyan pra di nagkakasalubungan at maiwasan yung disgrasya.

The area was very ideal with good view. The crew were also courteous and approachable. However, the amenities were poor, especially the bathroom. The shower head and tissue dispenser were broken. It was also mentioned that the breakfast was buffet style but it was not. It was ”buffet-assisted” where the crew will dish out for you. You can only have what they dish out. Not a problem for me but I just hope they made clear information on that. Hopefully they can work out on these issues.
