"Highly recommended. The service and welcome are exceptional, as is the hotel’s exquisite forest location and ambience in Camp John Hay, Baguio. Although it’s quite an old hotel, the highest standards are delivered. It’s quite expensive, although the dining and drinking options are priced quite reasonably for a hotel of this nature. We really enjoyed a very relaxing stay, enjoying the outdoor views and easygoing classic charm. Great job, and thank you!"

IiamrichinitaThe breakfast is good for the price, there are days that the menu is better. But overall, it’s acceptable. There’s just some issue in terms of the response time of the staff, when requests were not catered immediately. The road going to the hotel is also under repair that’s kinda hassle. There’s no elevator connected directly to the floows so you have to take the stairs 😅

We returned hoping for improvements after our last critical review, but found significant service failures persist. Management must urgently address these issues before our planned January visit.
* Room Welcome: Cookies appreciated, but a Baguio Rose flower stalk would be a more meaningful gesture.
* Housekeeping: Towels placed on the floor for replacement were simply re-hung; we had to call for clean ones.
* Front Desk: Only one staff member on duty led to three unanswered calls at night. This poses a serious safety risk in an emergency.
* Food (Breakfast): HORRIBLE quality. The buffet lacked creativity, was visually unappetizing, and items like the sausage were inedible. The Chef needs immediate supervision.
Management/GM: Please give these critical points your special attention. We need to see positive improvements in January; otherwise, we will seek other accommodations.

1. Great buffet bfast with a variety of food selections. I like their dried fish, omelette, langgonisa, coffee, breads, fruits. But noticed they did not serve bananas. Staff looks attentive to the needs of guests.
2. Have greats restos and shops nearby. Also near the CJH Conference area.
3. Has ample parking and nice garden plus heated pool.
However this hotel also needs improvement on the following areas:
1. Front desk looks like they are not coordinated. Made separate booking for three nights via Agoda and Trip.com and informed the hotel about this arrangement. However, after our first night, front desk asked us if we are extending our stay. Worst, they deactivated our key cards so we have to go down again to have them activated again which caused some inconvenience.
2. Toilet has a foul odor so called housekeeping who took some time to attend to us. They told us what to do to avoid the foul smell but some unpleasant smell still remained so reported this to the team leader who sent their engineering to check. The hotel staff told us they will return but never did. So problem was not solved.
3. Requested for late checkout since our trip back to Manila was still at 2pm. However, front desk cannot commit and said will require approval. We followed up and got no positive feedback. Called team leader and made complaints about issues 1-3 and had our request accepted.
4. Very difficult to book a taxi or grab and the guards said because of too many guests or tourists. But it’s a pity that such an expensive hotel also has no shuttles service.
We booked this hotel because it’s near the conference area but disappointed because we felt we didn’t get the value and services we were expecting. Anyway, thanks to the great staff.

KKang RichelThe unit was clean, quiet, and spacious, making it suitable for 3 to 4 guests. Amenities such as a refrigerator, cooking ware, and basic kitchen utensils were available, which was very convenient. The host was responsive and replied promptly whenever we had questions, which was appreciated.
The location is a bit far from the main road and city center, but it is a good option for those who prefer a peaceful and relaxing environment.
Check-in was smooth overall, though the front desk staff was not very welcoming and when I mentioned my unit number, she did not assist or guide us, not even to show where the lift was.
Aside from that, there were no issues with the unit. The host also reached out and let us know to inform her if we needed anything for our comfort.

Specially for the Pool area/Gym Area - Poor ventilation has caused the area to smell damp and moldy.

Suggestions: Timely repairs are necessary to maintain guest safety and provide a relaxing stay.

GGastgebruikerPluspunten: De locatie is goed; er zijn supermarkten en restaurants beneden, en de restaurants kunnen maaltijden op de kamer bezorgen (ik weet niet zeker of alle restaurants dat kunnen). Het ontbijtbuffet is redelijk.
Minpunten: De lobby was altijd druk; ik weet niet of het restaurantgasten waren die stonden te wachten om te eten of iets anders.
Er stonden veel personeelsleden bij de ingang, maar ze waren allemaal aan het kletsen. Op de dag van aankomst, nadat ik mijn auto had geparkeerd en mijn koffer had gedragen, vroeg geen enkel personeelslid of ik wilde inchecken. Ik sloot me domweg aan bij de rij, om er vervolgens achter te komen dat het was om te betalen voor een maaltijd in het restaurant.
Er was geen drinkwater op de kamer. De telefoon op de kamer had een ”0”. De receptie is 24 uur per dag geopend, maar tijdens mijn verblijf van drie dagen en twee nachten heeft niemand ook maar één keer opgenomen.
Toen ik die avond wegging, vroeg ik een personeelslid in de lobby om drinkwater en handdoeken, maar er was niets geregeld toen ik terugkwam!
Parkeren is gratis voor gasten; je krijgt een bonnetje, maar je moet het elke keer laten zien als je het hotel in- of uitrijdt. Waarom kunnen ze de kentekennummers van de gasten niet noteren voor een betere herkenning? Andere hotels/pensions waar ik in Baguio heb verbleven, hadden dit probleem niet. Bovendien parkeerden gasten (vermoedelijk restaurantgasten) en andere gasten allemaal op dezelfde parkeerplaats, waardoor er geen parkeerplekken meer over waren voor gasten.
Ik vroeg de parkeerwachter of de lift in de parkeergarage de lobby kon bereiken, en er werd me verteld dat ik de trap moest nemen.
Voor de schoonmaak van de kamer moet een bordje worden opgehangen; anders wordt de kamer niet schoongemaakt. Maar het bordje zat in de kledingkast.

KKSD31We recently stayed at this hotel, and overall, it was a good experience. The hotel itself is clean and well-maintained, with friendly and helpful staff who made our stay pleasant.
The room was also clean and comfortable, especially the bathroom it was spotless, with no signs of prior use or any foul smells. However, the lack of an exhaust fan meant that any odors stayed trapped inside. Additionally, the room had no windows that could be opened for fresh air circulation. While there was an air conditioner, it still felt like the air wasn’t circulating well.
Breakfast was just okay nothing special. The selection was quite limited, so you’re left with only what’s available. Compared to Elizabeth Hotel, which is more affordable and offers a more appetizing breakfast buffet with a wider variety, this was a bit of a letdown.
As for amenities, the hotel offers a jacuzzi and a heated pool, which is great in theory. However, their location in the middle of a restaurant makes it awkward to use since you’ll likely have an audience while swimming.
We also tried the Japanese restaurant on the mezzanine level. The food was good and affordable, but the sashimi was cut too thick about an inch which made it difficult to eat.
Despite these minor inconveniences, I highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional cleanliness. If cleanliness is a top priority for you, this hotel is a great choice!

SSolamia AñascoThis was our second stay at Travelite Legarda. We usually go to Baguio every January. During our previous visit, we stayed at Travelite Express Hotel near Burnham Park, and the following year we decided to try Travelite Legarda. This is now our second time staying here.
We initially checked in to Room 321 and noticed that there was no hot water in the room. I immediately asked for assistance from the front desk because hot water is really important, especially since Baguio is very cold. FO Ericka and HK Arnold assisted us and helped transfer us to another room with hot water, Room 309.
At around 9:32 PM, we had already transferred to the new room. Since the hot water was working, I started taking a shower. After a few minutes, two male guests suddenly opened our room, which shocked us because they were able to access the room. The two guests said that the front office had also assigned Room 309 to them.
After I finished my shower, I waited for any staff or front office personnel to come, knock, or at least apologize for what happened—but no one came. I was really shocked and disappointed.
I also work in the hotel industry, so I understand that mistakes can happen, but this situation was clearly a serious negligence. At the very least, an apology should have been given to the guest. I don’t know if the staff were busy or unaware, but this experience was not good for any guest.
I hope this incident will not happen again to other guests in the future.

Wala msyadong Taxi kaya no choice magpapabook k tlga ng GRAB (200+ ang taxi fare pag grab pero pag regular nsa 100 or less) One thing nakakahilo yung paakyat s main lobby ng hotel, spiral ramp ksi tpos ang tarik pag di sanay un mgdrive mhhirapn tlga ska sana may nag aassist dun sa pag akyat at pagbaba ng sasakyan pra di nagkakasalubungan at maiwasan yung disgrasya.

GGastgebruikerThe area was very ideal with good view. The crew were also courteous and approachable. However, the amenities were poor, especially the bathroom. The shower head and tissue dispenser were broken.
It was also mentioned that the breakfast was buffet style but it was not. It was ”buffet-assisted” where the crew will dish out for you. You can only have what they dish out. Not a problem for me but I just hope they made clear information on that.
Hopefully they can work out on these issues.
