Strandhotels in Cancún

"Het is een fijne plek, handig als je de volgende dag naar het vliegveld moet. We verbleven maar één dag in het hotel. De service was geweldig, erg beleefd en stond altijd klaar om ons te helpen. De check-in was om 15.00 uur, maar onze kamer was rond 13.30 uur klaar, dus dat was perfect voor ons. Je kunt lopend naar verschillende plekken, koffiebars, restaurants en Plaza Las Américas. Mijn enige probleem was de luchtvochtigheid; de kamer rook niet lekker, maar hij was wel schoon. Ik denk dat het door de luchtvochtigheid komt."

"Everything was great. We especially loved the pool in the late afternoon when the sun was blocked by the building — it wasn’t too hot. The food was better than we expected. Loved the kids club, and all the activities were really fun. The only downside was that the beach wasn’t as good and gentle as the northern ones, and when it was windy, umbrellas weren’t allowed. The buffet restaurant was also quite hot and stuffy."

"Es la segunda vez que vengo y me encanta. El personal de mantenimiento, limpieza y cafetería es de 10, quizás en recepción fueron algo más fríos y tampoco comprendo muy bien la política de invitados, no puede venir nadie a visitarte pasando más allá de la recepción. La alberca es genial, las camas y la ubicación."

"The hotel is similar to a three star hotel but is very economical for the prices it offers. Best part was the morning breakfast buffet. They have a cook who carefully prepares omeletes and quesadillas, definitely recommend the chicken chipotle quesadillas. Buffet may not be included so you may want to double check to be sure. The living quarters were basic as well. You will have a security box, closet, small tv. They commonly clean every morning, if you don't want it to be clean you can place the do not disturb packard. Everything in the room is white, you will have a decent view of the buildings around, but the view is relaxing. Btw, it's advised to secure your belongings if you have a suitcase, this logic would apply any hotel you go to, better safe then sorry. Staff were very nice, everyone within the buffet mostly speak perfect english, but the cleaning ladies were not able to. Just something to be aware of. *** If you love starbucks, they have one at the entrance. They can't make a Barbie Frappuccino but they have most drinks similar to the aiports. I did not go to the pool of gym due to frequent travel to Xcaret. This is a hotel morentowards those who do travel versus the cost of an all inclusive. Overall, this hotel is budget friendly and the concierge/staff were very kind. Defintely worth the considering. FYI, you want to run the water for a little to get it hot. Its more between hot and warm, they could update the shower heads. Bht they give you plenty of towels they have a blowdryer aswell. Also, outlets may be an issue in the single rooms, the family rooms are well equiped. Close to the airport aswell, the drive is around 10 minutes."

"This was our 3rd time here ( because of the jacuzzi in the room) . Unfortunately it was also our last visit . We paid for the room with jacuzzi . The AC in the room was broken , we couldn’t turn it off and it was freezing cold in there . We asked them if they could turn it off . They sent someone to fix it . We waited in front of the room for some time . They turned it off but the freezing cold air was still flowing and they told us ITS LIKE THAT WE CANT TURN IT OFF .. uh okay? We asked for another room . We changed the rooms and we discovered that the jacuzzi was not working 😂 the jets power was like when you turn on a faucet . We couldn’t even feel it. The water level was going down quickly so we had to refill the jacuzzi couple of times in one evening. Next day we asked for fixing it or changing the rooms, they sent someone again to fix it . We waited some time in front of our room as we didn’t want to leave our stuff unattended (probably around 1 hour) they were still fixing it and we had enough so we went to the pool. They “fixed” it in couple of hours and guess what . It was the same 😂🤌 I took the manager to the room and showed her the “power” of the jets and she told me that it is working . I told her I see it’s working but it has no power and this is not jacuzzi , it’s a bathtub with faucets on . She said this is the best they could do . I told her I was on the hotel before and I know how the jacuzzi should work and this is not working and I would like another room with all amenities working . She told me there are no more rooms left in our category 😂 only the ona with the broken AC . … I thought there will be some effort from their site to resolve this or offer something .. some gesture as an apology… but nothing they left us in room with broken jacuzzi and I explained to them many times that I booked the room only because of the jacuzzi . Tgey said sorry and left the room . sooo very disappointed and never coming back . I loved the hotel the first 2 times but it’s going downhill. That’s why it has 3 stars on Google and booking and everywhere else . Don’t go there if you don’t want to loose your nerves."

"Uitstekende externe faciliteiten, 2 zwembaden, waarvan er één geïntegreerd is in de strandomgeving, bars bij het zwembad en een restaurant. Yogalessen, boksen, volleybal in het zwembad en enkele gevarieerde attracties. Het gehele personeelsteam is zeer attent. Zeer compleet ontbijt. Ik hield van alles aan NYX"

"Een zeer goed gelegen hotel, alleen klopt de geadverteerde belasting niet en betaal je uiteindelijk meer; er was veel zeewier en het strand was niet erg aangenaam."

"We had a very good stay. While there was a disturbance in the the middle of the night, the hotel acted quickly to resolve the situation and compensate us for the issue. A special thanks to Wilberth at reception for his excellent service. He and the manager Alejandro clearly stood out with their attitude and hospitality, turning a negative experience into what is now a very positive one."

"De locatie is goed en handig om te reizen. Het is een snel hotel met een goede prijs-kwaliteitsverhouding. Het ontbijt is OK mensen die willen deelnemen aan een groepsreis. Er is een plaatselijke reisbureauwinkel naast de deur, wat erg handig is. Het ligt dicht bij ADO. Het station is relatief dichtbij en er zijn verschillende restaurants in de buurt die prima zijn"
