Het hotel is schoon en het personeel is zeer attent. Tegenover het hotel bevinden zich een KFC en een dimsumrestaurant, waardoor boodschappen doen erg gemakkelijk is. Alle rantsoenen zijn beschikbaar en het verblijf was comfortabel."

"A small, run-down hotel that's supposed to be renovated this year (we hope). The room was old-fashioned, as was the shower. The restaurant and breakfast were decent. A major drawback was the pool, which was overrun by youths from the nearby housing projects. Insults and all sorts of rudeness made us not want to stay because we didn't feel safe (which is a shame). It was 39 degrees Celsius."

"My wife, three adult children, daughter in law and my daughter's boyfriend stayed for four nights at this beautiful property for four nights at the end of June. Don't be put off by the google map street view of the property. In typical French fashion, the door is modest, but once you step inside the gate, you are transformed into a beautiful garden which includes a swimming pool, hot tub and plenty of space for gathering. As the hotel has a very small number of rooms, the seven of us from our family represented the vast majority of the guests staying at the hotel. We were warmly greeted by the owners, Florian and Emmanuelle and their colleague Christophe, who told us that we should consider ourselves at home for our stay - and they really meant it! My wife and I stayed in "Le Jardin", a beautiful apartment that included a very functional kitchen and private garden. It was perfect for our needs as our children stayed in Le Suite D'Olivier, La Rooftop and La Duplex. The entire property was renovated and opened in June 2023. The rooms have all the modern amenities we wanted, including well-functioning air conditioning and spacious state of the art showers. Each room has its own very tastefully decorated style. Every morning the team prepared a beautiful buffet breakfast with made to order eggs available in addition to the classic continental buffet spread. While the hotel is on a small street, we only needed to walk around the corner to find ourselves in the center of a bustling section of town with many restaurants and local shops of all kinds (cheese shops, wine shops, bakeries, shopping stores, etc.). The town of Avignon is beautiful - large enough to spend plenty of time wandering the mostly pedestrian-only streets and very convenient for day trips to the surrounding areas of Provence. The Palais de Papes is stunning! We visited the Luberon hills one day and organized a day of wine tasting in Chateau Neuf de Pape. In the end, it was the perfect spot for our family vacation and if we ever decide to take another trip to the south of France, we will be staying here again for sure! "We began our twelve day adventure to Provence in Avignon. After a seven hour plane journey we took the TGV train from CDG airport to the Avignon TGV station where the hotel arranged for a taxi to drive us to LDC(the hotel). As it was a bit late and we were road weary the manager, Dorian was nice enough to prepare a charcuterie meal for us. Much has been written by other TA reviewers of the gardens that surround the seven hundred year old Cardinal's house. When we arrived at the massive stone gate which surrounds the property we rang the bell and the huge wooden gate opened onto perhaps the most beautiful urban park/garden we have ever encountered. How completely Zen! The grounds included a very private pool. The venue has very few suites. The public rooms contain some of the most quirky, nee bizarre furnishings we have ever encountered. One of the lounges has a life size camel center stage. Another lounge has a full size statue of a cow. However, somehow the owners are able to pull off this weirdness with antiques and very comfortable couches and chairs. All of the common rooms have views of the gardens. Our suite, The Aphrodite, was the largest. The room had a round king bed and a second small bedroom so the suite can sleep three. Continuing on with the bizarre, the round bed was surrounded by statutes of monkeys holding lighting fixtures. The bathroom was large and contained all the necessities. My only criticism was the couches and chairs in the room could definitely use an upgrade as they are old and uncomfortable. The staff were SO VERY wonderful. They could not do enough for us to have four pleasurable nights. The breakfast which was included in the room rate was a nice buffet. The bnb was nicely located near the ancient center of town. My wife and I highly recommend this quirky but wonderful venue. Neil/Sharon"

Having a separate toilet was a big plus. The staff were pleasant and very helpful. The only downside was the soundproofing."

"The location of this hotel is very good. It is within walking distance to the main attractions of Avignon. There is a church next to it and many restaurants nearby. The overall accommodation is good. The view from the bed is very good. The only unhappy thing is that the middle-aged madame had a bad attitude when I left the hotel, which affected my mood early in the morning."

"Ik raad dit hotel niet aan! Ten eerste, hoewel het dicht bij de oude stad ligt, ligt het aan de rand van de oude stad. Het duurt meer dan tien minuten om de oude stad in te lopen... Ten t****e, de kamer is eenvoudig en klein... Er is geen waterkoker die Chinezen nodig hebben, en er zijn slechts twee papieren bekertjes voor mondwater... Er is geen koelkast... Ten derde, als je een auto wilt huren, vind je alle autoverhuurbedrijven bij het TGV-station... 3 kilometer uit elkaar... Taxi's zijn hier duurder dan in Parijs... Ten vierde, het voordeel is dat het schoon is! Er is een grote supermarkt in de buurt..."

"Het is dichtbij de beroemde attracties en kan ook worden geplaatst als een klant. We zijn vroeg en we zijn vroeg inchecken. Het enige ontevredenheid is dat er weinig ontbijt is en niemand vroeg of we eieren wilden, maar als we er zijn, hoorde de dienstpersoneel dat de andere gasten vragen wat voor eieren ze wilden. Ik voelde wat verschil in behandeling."

"De geografische ligging van het hotel is goed, vooral voor autorijdende toeristen. Onder het hotel is de enorme ondergrondse parkeerplaats van A**. De rechterkant is de tijdelijke parkeerplaats die het hotel biedt voordat de navigatie in de garage komt. U kunt eerst de bagage neerzetten, anders moet u na het parkeren de bagage vertrekken en de trap intrekken. Ik hoop dat we de ervaringen die we hebben gemarteld, helpen met de achterste gasten."
