"Very nice little hotel typical of the Swiss Alps. The rooms are nicely appointed. There is a small office space and a bench seat along the window. It's not very comfortable but when you put the pillows on it, it's great. The bathroom is spacious. Quite simple but good breakfast."

"Hotel Bergidyll was a delightful experience. Stayed for 5 nights for a solo snowboard trip as a first timer in Andermatt The main service is phenomenal. From the moment you arrived you are assisted to your room. Room services and cleaning is exceptional. Shampoo bottle in my room was empty so it was replaced right away and the housekeeper kept apologising with a smile. Breakfast service You’re greeted with a smile straight away by the Blonde latina wait staff (forgot her name). She will ask for your coffee preference. Then the next day I have a sore throat probably from skiing and catching a cold, once she heard my voice she asked me if I was okay and offered to make me a ginger and honey tea which blew my mind as this is a well above service. Such empathy and care towards guest that you rarely see nowadays in any hospitality accommodation, even the expensive 5 star hotels. Dinner I ordered the carbonara and soup of the day. Pasta was beautifully cooked and made authentic with the egg, guanciale and cheese. Room I would say room is adequate enough for 1-2 person. Just missing a TV. But other than that, you get everything you need in a hotel amenity Location Great spot I would say. 5 minutes walk from Andermatt train station and close walking distance to the main Gûtsch Gondola express Hotel lobby has a cozy Swiss Chalet vibe that you can sit down, drink some coffee or beer. Overall I would say what made the stay exceptional is the above and beyond hospitality from the front staff and the location as well makes it convenient. Would definitely come back again"

"Van begin tot eind een buitengewoon verblijf. Ontvangst exceptioneel met kleine hapjes bij de check-in. De lobby en algemene ruimten zijn super smaakvol ingericht en opvallend rustig, waarschijnlijk omdat het zo ruim is opgezet. Er is een juwelier, een sigaren kamer, een klein museum, een wijnkamer en ga zo maar door. Het zwembad, zowel binnen als buiten is bizar fijn en mooi, binnenbad ongeveer 30 meter lang maar liefst! De kamer is waanzinnig luxe met alles wat je je kan voorstellen inclusief drankjes en rode wijn. De open haard is zowel vanuit de kamer als het ruime balkon te zien en met de iPad te bedienen. Het afwerkingsniveau is ongekend, je ziet nergens een verkeerd kitrandje of scheve voeg, alles lijkt gisteren opgeleverd en perfect uitgevoerd. Het ontbijt heeft uiteraard alles dat je je kan voorstellen inclusief een kinder buffet. Het hoogtepunt is een kaastoren waar je in kan lopen. Al met al een sprookjesachtig verblijf, even sparen en ik kom weer terug!"

"We kwamen op 3 februari 2025 in Andermatt om de week te verblijven bij Alpenhotel Schlussel skiën. Thomas hielp ons warm en gaf ons een paar tips over de stad zodat we onze eerste dag rondkijken. Helaas op de vijfde was ik betrokken bij een traumatisch skiongeluk dat op onze eerste dag tot een noodoperatie heeft geleid. Thomas was onschatbaar in het helpen ons uit te vinden hoe we naar het ziekenhuis kunnen komen (een uur verder), en hij zorgde ervoor dat onze vervoersdienst voor ons was geregeld. Hij hield elke dag contact met mijn man, toen ik drie dagen in het ziekenhuis verbleef en hielp me mijn reis terug te organiseren naar het hotel, en vervolgens naar de luchthaven. Het hotel is prachtig, iedereen is zo vriendelijk en hielp me om te komen toen ik terugkwam op kruipen. Het ontbijt was heerlijk en Thomas was er elke ochtend om te praten. We adviseren het Alpenhotel zeer en we gaan zeker terug een dag, waarschijnlijk in de zomer."
