"The service is very good, the staff is very enthusiastic, it is close to the ski resort cable car, and it is also convenient to visit the town. There was nothing wrong with it except that it was expensive~"

"The hotel is incredibly close to the train station. It's just a 500-meter walk after you exit the station and cross the road – definitely not as far as it looks on the map! The amenities are excellent, with high-quality furniture, appliances, and linen. It's equipped with a washing machine, vacuum cleaner, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and oven. The kitchen is fully equipped, making it very convenient to use. There's a children's play area nearby, and our kids absolutely loved it, having fun every day. Our entire family hopes to have the chance to stay here for a longer period next time."

"Dit hotel is een goede keuze als je niet een niet te duur verblijf in Andermatt wilt boeken. Het is 10 minuten lopen vanaf het station en winkels, restaurants zijn op loopafstand. Er komt wel verkeer langs. Tijdens ons verblijf waren er forse bouwwerkzaamheden bezig aan de overzijde van de straat, we hebben geboft dat we in het weekend waren, anders vermoedelijk overlast. Er is geen lift, je koffer moet je de trap opsjouwen (werden wel geholpen) die ook nog een bocht maakt. De ontvangst is aardig, de kamer was vrij standaard maar prima en alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Ontbijt goed maar iets meer verse kaas, yoghurt of kwark waren prettig geweest. Maar wel helaas een ding: we kregen kamer 4 die een glazen tussendeur heeft naar een kamer met drie bedden, geschikt voor families. 's Nachts kwamen we erachter dat er licht brandde in die kamer, dus geheel verduisterd was onze kamer niet. We hebben dit de volgende ochtend gemeld en toen werd ons gezegd dat dit onze eigen fout was. Er zitten namelijk bij de deur twee lichtschakelaars en als je op beide drukt, gaat ook het licht in de andere kamer aan. Bij daglicht zie je dat niet. Hoe konden wij dit nu weten, dat had de receptie ons wel even mogen vertellen. Helaas hadden ze daar geen begrip voor."

"Ik had een ruime eenpersoonskamer en de kamer was zo mooi en schoon! Ik heb 2 gratis fles water die ook een echt mooi gebaar was. ☺️"

"Ik heb onlangs met mijn familie in dit hotel verblijven en helaas was onze ervaring verre van bevredigend. Vanaf het moment dat we aankwamen, stonden we geconfronteerd met tal van problemen. De kamer was besmet met insecten, waaronder ongewoon grote vliegen over de grootte van boom die de ruimte onrein en onaangenaam maakte. Om de zaken erger te maken, had de badkamer (waaronder het toilet) geen deur, en dit gebrek aan privacy was zeer onbeleefd voor een familieverblijf, zoals we moesten bekendmaken elke keer dat iemand het moest gebruiken. We zijn al een aantal malen vroeg opgewaakt door lawaai van de vlakten en lopende bouwwerkzaamheden. Bovendien had het hotel geen opties voor het eten ter plaatse geen restaurant of zelfs een basis-eetkamer dat betekende dat we moesten zoeken naar plaatsen om te eten voor elke maaltijd. In het algemeen voldeed deze verblijf niet aan onze verwachtingen in termen van comfort, schoonheid, of basisfaciliteiten. Ik zou dit hotel niet aanbevelen aan families of niemand die op zoek is naar een ontspannen en ongemakkelijk verblijf."

"Hotel Bergidyll was a delightful experience. Stayed for 5 nights for a solo snowboard trip as a first timer in Andermatt The main service is phenomenal. From the moment you arrived you are assisted to your room. Room services and cleaning is exceptional. Shampoo bottle in my room was empty so it was replaced right away and the housekeeper kept apologising with a smile. Breakfast service You’re greeted with a smile straight away by the Blonde latina wait staff (forgot her name). She will ask for your coffee preference. Then the next day I have a sore throat probably from skiing and catching a cold, once she heard my voice she asked me if I was okay and offered to make me a ginger and honey tea which blew my mind as this is a well above service. Such empathy and care towards guest that you rarely see nowadays in any hospitality accommodation, even the expensive 5 star hotels. Dinner I ordered the carbonara and soup of the day. Pasta was beautifully cooked and made authentic with the egg, guanciale and cheese. Room I would say room is adequate enough for 1-2 person. Just missing a TV. But other than that, you get everything you need in a hotel amenity Location Great spot I would say. 5 minutes walk from Andermatt train station and close walking distance to the main Gûtsch Gondola express Hotel lobby has a cozy Swiss Chalet vibe that you can sit down, drink some coffee or beer. Overall I would say what made the stay exceptional is the above and beyond hospitality from the front staff and the location as well makes it convenient. Would definitely come back again"
