"I plan to stay two nights near Mount Fuji. I filtered accommodations by positive reviews and found this newly opened lodge. Almost all reviews were good, with not a single negative comment, and when I saw it was run by a Chinese owner, I booked it immediately. The location is super convenient, just a three to five-minute walk from the station. The entire lodge is brand new and spotless, with lots of Chinese calligraphy hanging inside, which made it feel very welcoming. The dining area is quite spacious, equipped with an ice maker, microwave, and instant noodles for purchase. A 7-Eleven is about a ten-minute walk away. The scenery is incredible. I just checked in tonight and I'm really looking forward to seeing Mount Fuji's snowscape tomorrow morning. I'll share photos then. The lighting design throughout the lodge is also very thoughtful, creating a great ambiance. The owner is from Zhejiang, and he's incredibly reliable. When traveling abroad, it's common to lose signal on your phone, so you can only communicate via messages. The owner's replies were quick and his information was accurate, which is truly rare when staying away from home. The room is very spacious and immaculately clean, and the furniture like tables and chairs is still new. But I have to emphasize this! In all my time in Japan, this is the first time I've encountered such a spacious bathroom; I absolutely love it! The kettle, and all bathroom amenities are fully provided, making for a comfortable stay. The lodge also offers vehicle rentals: electric scooters and electric bikes for 2000 yen a day, and regular bicycles for 1000 yen a day, which is excellent value for money! Most outside rentals require scanning QR codes for registration, which is a complicated process and hard to manage. Here, you can rent directly at the front desk, which saves so much hassle. This is a huge plus! This was a self-funded stay, with no cooperation or advertising fees; these are my genuine, heartfelt feelings. If you're a Chinese friend reading this, please give it a like! "Arrived on a heavy snow and my shoe were all wet. Were told that our room were not ready but the lady quickly offered me a Shoe Dryer to dry my shoe. The room were quite spacious. It has beautiful view of Mt Fuji. The onsen have the same beautiful view of Mt Fuji. 20 mins walk to the Kawaguchi station. But within 5 mins walk around the hotel, there are Lawson, restaurants and also a huge supermarket. Recommended."

"The room is spacious and cozy. There is a bathtub in the bathroom. Facilities are plentiful. The view is stunning! We booked a mountain view and we got it! The staffs are kind and friendly. They can communicate in English quite well. The hotel also has a hotspring. It is a great place for everyone, especially a couple or a family"

"It’s a convenient location for individuals wanting to hike Mt Ryugatake or head to the Nakanokura viewing deck. The hotel has an outdoor bath, which we enjoyed. There’s quite a selection of food to choose from for breakfast and dinner. However, we unfortunately had hunger game-style buffet dinner/breakfast encounters during our first night stay at the hotel (we stayed a total of 2 nights). The buffet dinner was absolute chaos. Majority of the staying guests at the hotel are part of large tour groups. One of the group staying on our first night went absolutely feral at the buffet dinner. Cutting queues left and right. Swiping every food item. At one point I heard a fellow diner say to their friend“there’s nothing left!?!??” as they look at the empty buffet trays. It felt less like dining and more like surviving a food stampede. 🥲 The hotel staff looked defeated as well. I feel for them. Thankfully day 2 was less chaotic and more orderly. We didn’t have to fear of ppl cutting our queue."

"The location and view are excellent, it was close to Mt. Fuji. With clear and good weather, you are able to see Mt. Fuji with a specular view. The staff provides excellent service to the quests. If I am really critical, it just doesn't have a gym room. Breakfast and dinner are great too, high quality! Highly recommended!"

"This hotel offers plenty of activities to keep you busy. I particularly enjoyed the welcome matcha tea from an authentic tea house. The rustic sake room provides complimentary sake, which definitely warms you up and relieves tiredness. There’s also an open-air foot bath available. I had a spacious room with a marvelous view of Mount Fuji every morning upon waking. The gourmet dining experience is definitely worth mentioning. The unforgettable drum show and bingo game at night were incredibly exciting. The onsen experience was perfect."
