"We like the private onsen in the room. We could do cold or hot plunge according to our liking. The hotel looks great from the exterior, but my room does look a little dated. Love the option of getting extra pillow like latex or memory foam one without extra charge."

"Het uitzicht is 100 punten. Je kunt het landschap van Kaohsiung zien. Ik kan het van harte aanbevelen. Het personeel is goed. Ik had wat problemen bij het inchecken. Maar het personeel hielp snel en vriendelijk om het probleem op te lossen. Hoewel het een lastminutereservering was, was ik zeer tevreden. Ik verblijf hier de volgende keer dat ik naar Kaohsiung ga. "I recently stayed at the Tango Motel in Taipei and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed with a luxurious feel. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure all my needs were met during my stay. The location was convenient, with easy access to public transportation and nearby attractions. The in-room amenities, such as the Jacuzzi and the high-tech controls, added an extra touch of comfort and relaxation. Overall, Tango Motel is a great choice for both business and leisure travelers."

"It appears to be a renovated old hotel. The exterior features a Western style that resonates with the old-fashioned interior design, expressing a sense of classic luxury. I assume it must have been quite popular when it first opened. The room’s interior preserves its elegant, traditional style, and the maintenance is impressively well done. The hot spring bathtub easily deserves a 10/10, and the quality of the hot spring water is guaranteed. That said, old buildings inevitably come with certain drawbacks. For example, the sewage system can be relatively loud, which may be an issue for guests who require a very quiet environment to sleep. Fortunately, the soundproofing was decent—at least in my room. Overall, considering the reasonable price, there is little to complain about. Although the location is not particularly close to the station, it is near the fantastic Thermal Valley and many scenic hiking routes, which is definitely a plus. 🙂"

"The service was terrible. I booked this hotel with 2 meals. , for dinner, they said we could not order the expensive menu, so we ordered within what they advised us. The oysters were not very fresh, and the soup was so blended, and there was no taste. We did not enjoy our meal much, and then once we finished, they gave us the bill with additional charge. I asked yhat lady what this additional charge for, then that lady did not even know what is wrong at the first. and then she called other senior lady, and she came back to us and explained like, ”This menu you ordered was actually not included in your meal plan. But it's okay since it's our fault, we will not charge to you. It's okay we will take this additional chages. ” I felt like... they are not generously allowing us something or giving services. Was so uncomportable. And the guy who work in the spa place on 2nd floor was so rude. Cheng? Chen? He was so rude and not quite nice. Also, for the outside spa(pool?), i know a lot of othe hotels spa allow people to use the shower cap on ther hair, but they said i should buy the swimming cap. Was so strict, so even we had the swimsuits, we were not able to use the outside spa(pool?). I paid almost 600$ and this hotel does not deserve to get this much amount. I do not recommend this hotel never ever."

"A very enjoyable experience. Weather has not been good but it has not affected our holidays at all. The tranquility and peacefulness of the hotel and nearby areas were impeccable. The selection of reading materials in every corner of the hotel was impressive. I had my breakfast in the quiet cafe and the random choice of the book redeveloped my interests in reading. Food and service in the chinese restaurant were of high standards. Relaxing in the onsens were most soothing. Will be back again."

"the hotel resort was amazing! service was so good and the room was sooo cozy. amazing for couples who want a peaceful getaway! we stayed for 1 night and felt so sad that it ended so quickly. but it was the last night of our trip and it was a great way to end our taiwan trip. will definitely want to be back again for 2 nights next time to have more time to explore the city area and also to make use of more amenities."

"Thought I was upgraded from 36m2 to 28m2 (happiness room to love suite), so it is on higher floor, not G/F. Just note that there are two stairs inside room for love suite (door to room, room to hot spring) so it actually feel smaller than the photos. Original plan was to have my aunt 65+ to stay. Stairs may present some difficulties to them so ask hotel before confirmation of your trip if you have elderly /small children. Pros: can listen to birds singing in the mornings while watching Mountain View. This will be one strong reason for coming back. Also, views from dining room is superb. Appreciated so much for the staff at reception who meticulously take care of my needs to order take-out. She was so kind & I hope more ladies could be in hotel to serve their clients. At this price (lowest HKD46x for basic room type) there is nothing to complain. So I would definitely consider going back in winter times. Cons: plumbing system is old coz it’s uphill. WC can only handle liquid waste. Housekeeping effort will be needed for any solid waste disposal… Noise from housekeeping (& kitchen staff sending breakfast to rooms) can disturb sleep for light sleepers. When they change buffet breakfast to room service, I went to fetch a cup for hot water. A male staff intercepted me & asked abt the cups. To assure him that I won’t take these away, just show the pic below to reception (留下三大跟三小的杯). Hope he understands that female solo travellers are common elsewhere even i looked like locals; & simply bc my travel-mate have to leave earlier than planned."
