We arrived in Xijiang and were immediately met with such a kind surprise—they upgraded our room for my birthday, which truly set the tone for our entire stay. We were on the third floor with the most wonderful view, looking out over their little water feature and the village beyond. Our balcony, complete with a tea set and two chairs, quickly became one of our favorite spots. Sitting there, especially in the evening, felt magical—like we were nestled among the stars overlooking the town. The location is fantastic—just a short walk from the viewing platform and easily accessible down into the main village. Arriving was also incredibly smooth. As first-time visitors to China, we were quite nervous navigating trains and logistics as English speakers, but the hotel staff stepped in early with clear, thoughtful guidance. From the very beginning, they were attentive, responsive, and genuinely kind. When we arrived at the North Gate after taking the shuttle into the scenic area, a staff member met us and carried both of our bags up the hill and stairs to the accommodation. This was such a thoughtful gesture—especially because the terrain can be challenging. (For future travelers: if possible, avoid bringing heavy suitcases—but if you do, you’ll be very well taken care of here.) Check-in was seamless, and our room was extremely comfortable with all the amenities we needed. They provided water, soft robes, and made communication very easy via WeChat. Breakfast was also a highlight—we opted for the Chinese breakfast, which was light, healthy, and a perfect way to start the day before exploring all the incredible street food in town. We especially loved the communal living space—a cozy café-style area with a balcony overlooking the village. It was such a peaceful place to sit, have tea, and take in the views both during the day and under the night sky. They also had everything you could need: a coffee maker, dishes, mugs, and even fresh spring water, which was a lovely touch. The warmth of the people here truly made the experience unforgettable. The housekeeping staff were so kind, and the younger staff members were incredibly helpful and attentive. It really felt like being welcomed into a home rather than just staying at a hotel. And the little cats around the property made it even more special. On our departure day, we were running late for the last bus, and one of the younger staff members carried my very heavy bag down the hill and practically ran with it to make sure we made it on time. He stayed with us until we were safely on board. That level of care and service is something we will never forget. We would return in a heartbeat. You made our short stay in Xijiang an absolute pleasure and a weekend we will remember forever.

I arrived at the airport after unexpectedly injuring my ankle earlier that day and had no idea how serious it was or what to do next. I booked this hotel last minute, and from the moment I contacted them, everything changed. The team immediately arranged a car to pick me up from the airport, and I was met with such kindness, care, and professionalism that I felt safe right away. When I arrived, they provided a wheelchair for me and allowed me to keep it overnight. They thoughtfully placed me in a more accessible room, helped with my luggage, and continuously checked in to make sure I had everything I needed. This all happened late at night, yet the level of attention and warmth never wavered. What truly stood out was how every single staff member treated me. Each time I spoke with someone, they sincerely said to call if I needed anything, and they meant it. It felt like the entire team knew about my situation and was looking out for me. As a first-time traveler in China and an English speaker, I was honestly quite scared, but they went out of their way to make sure I never felt alone or overwhelmed. At one point, multiple staff members even came up to my room to check on me in person and ask if I needed anything. They made sure I ate and brought me a warm meal, and I can genuinely say those were the most comforting, soul-filling noodles I had during my trip. In the morning, they kindly offered me a late checkout until 2 p.m., again reminding me to reach out for anything at all. When it was time to leave, they made the process completely seamless. A member of the reception team personally escorted me by golf cart to the airport, helped communicate with airport staff, and ensured I received a wheelchair for my onward journey. I did not have to think or worry about a single step. This level of care goes far beyond standard hospitality. It reflects a truly exceptional team. Every person I encountered was kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in my wellbeing. I want to extend my deepest thanks to everyone working that day for taking such incredible care of me. You turned what could have been a very stressful and frightening experience into something warm, safe, and deeply human. This is a world-class team and a shining example of what hospitality should be. I am so grateful and will absolutely stay with this hotel again. Thank you for everything.

So glad we chose this guesthouse for New Year's Eve! There wasn't much open in Zunyi city, and the owner here actually invited all the guests to a reunion dinner – so incredibly welcoming. The room was great too, with a large balcony that offered a view of most of the festivities. If you don't want to be in the thick of the crowd, watching the 'iron flower' show from the room actually gives you a better view. The room had a heater, so it was super warm in winter. Coming back to a cozy room after freezing outside at the show was fantastic. The hygiene was excellent, on par with Hanting or Atour. We also had the sour fish soup in the guesthouse the next day; it was a generous portion and not expensive at all. Highly recommend staying here!

The room's environment and hygiene were excellent, and the buffet was also very good. The front desk lady and the manager were very friendly. The room type we initially booked didn't have a window, but after discussing it, they upgraded our room. The room came with noise-canceling earplugs and disposable toilet seat covers, which was very thoughtful. It offers great value for money, and I highly recommend it. The location is also very convenient, close to the provincial hospital, making it easy for medical visits.

It's a short walk to the Confucius Temple and Martial Temple, and incredibly convenient for exploring the ancient city and enjoying the lantern-lit night views. Perfect for couples strolling hand-in-hand, creating a wonderful atmosphere. 🛏️ Romantic & Comfortable Rooms We stayed in a spacious and bright king-size room. The bedding was soft and gentle on the skin, ensuring a sound sleep until morning. The bathroom was spotless, with a separate wet and dry area, and even a smart toilet – very thoughtful details. 🍳 Delicious Breakfast The restaurant has a fresh and elegant ambiance, offering a wide array of Chinese and Western options, plus plenty of local snacks. Enjoying a leisurely breakfast with my loved one was pure bliss. 💁 Super Warm Service The front desk staff were welcoming and attentive. They proactively upgraded our room and recommended some off-the-beaten-path attractions. Any requests were handled promptly, making us feel completely at home throughout our stay. ✨ Summary A quiet oasis in a lively area, with excellent quality and a perfect location. It's ideal for a romantic getaway or a vacation. We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Anshun!

Staying at this guesthouse in Qianhu Miao Village was an absolutely delightful experience. The location is superb, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the village and finding local specialty dishes. The front desk and guesthouse staff were exceptionally warm and attentive, promptly addressing any needs and showing great patience and care. The daily complimentary fruit platter was a highlight—diverse, fresh, and deliciously sweet. Our room was spotless and well-organized, feeling spacious and bright. All facilities were well-maintained, ensuring a very comfortable stay. Every aspect exceeded our expectations; the attention to detail was truly impressive, and it offered excellent value for money. It's perfect whether you're looking for a relaxing getaway or a short trip. I'll definitely choose this place again when I return to Qianhu Miao Village.

Beautiful hotel, nice and spacious room, great location and excellent staff. The location is close to a park, the pedestrian street if you want street food and near a mall if you want some more upscale food options. Easy to find and get a taxi/didi to anywhere you need to go. Our room had a separate living room and 2 bathrooms, with good views of the city. We had a couple requests that the staff graciously accommodated. If we come back to Kaili, we will choose this hotel again!

Greentree Eastern Hotel is the largest airport hotel in Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport, located at AC Park. It has four towers. Check-in is at the fourth tower. I thank the receptionist for reserving an aircraft-flying-view room at the third tower. Focal length of an aircraft taking off from Guiyang is 200mm to 400mm above. I choose to stay at Greentree Eastern Hotel because the hotel does not charge room key deposit and it is the newest airport hotel opposite the Guiyang airport Terminal 3. I also want to test plane-spotting at this hotel. Besides, the nearest place to enjoy lunch and dinner is of less than one minute walk from the hotel, also at AC Park, and I get to enjoy extremely cheap Guizhou cuisine. I am very happy that I have selected the right airport hotel. During my vacation at Greentree Eastern Hotel, two incidents happened. Firstly, the receptionist told me that to print my boarding passes, I need to forward the online boarding passes via WeChat for the hotel to print the boarding pass. However, I explained to the receptionists that I have difficulties in using WeChat after registering an account. One of the receptionists helped me forward one boarding pass to his email address and from his email address to the hotel printer on Friday. I got the first online boarding pass in black and white. On Saturday morning, I attempted the same but the other receptionst-on-duty refused to help me. The other incident is at the hotel restaurant Bellagio (鹿港小镇). There is no restaurant staff to take the breakfast vouchers. Therefore, many guests have taken advantage of eating breakfast at the restaurant for free and before 7.30 am, many breakfast items were snapped up. I hope that Greentree Eastern Hotel can provide better printing service and enforce the rule that a restaurant staff should be at the reception desk of the restaurant to collect the breakfast vouchers. Other than the above, I will stay here again for plane-spotting purpose if necessary.

The front desk staff were warm and polite, and the room was incredibly comfortable with very clean floors. It was a really pleasant stay. They even offer a free shuttle to Huaguoshan and the Great Waterfall, and there's a cute delivery robot that brought our meals, which was a huge hit with the kids! It created some wonderful memories. Highly recommend.

Choosing the twin room at Manxuan Inn for our family trip to Qingyan Ancient Town was such a wise decision! The room had its own small living room, making it comfortable for both adults and children. The lake view of the inn truly lived up to its name; strolling along the lake and letting the kids run wild in the garden was even more pleasant than visiting tourist attractions. The complimentary ethnic costume selfie experience and afternoon tea were a delightful surprise; my wife took many beautiful photos in Miao clothing! The service was exceptionally thoughtful, making our family trip particularly enjoyable.
