The food at the hotel was excellent, and there were so many activities to enjoy. The VIP queue experience was also great. From a value-for-money perspective, even though it was expensive, I felt it was totally worth it. However, there were a few minor shortcomings: 1. A very small number of staff members tried to shirk responsibility. When we first returned to the hotel from Xiangshawan, the waiting area was completely empty. A drowsy older gentleman told us to just get on the next jeep that arrived. As soon as the jeep pulled up, about a dozen people appeared, led by a female staff member. She immediately started bossing us around, saying it was for *them* and that we should go queue up. I was quite annoyed and said that when we arrived, there was no one here, and now that *they* have arrived, we're suddenly told to queue up, meaning we'd be stuck behind these dozen-plus people and God knows how long we'd have to wait. Seeing my strong tone, this female staff member simply said, ”I don't know,” shrunk her neck, and stayed silent. She made no effort to help us or manage the other group, acting as if we should just sort it out ourselves. Fortunately, another vehicle arrived quickly, and the driver was excellent, immediately saying there was space for everyone and that there were plenty of cars. If it weren't for the good driver, and me being tired, I would have definitely noted down the employee number of that staff member who was so aggressive at first but then immediately cowered and dodged responsibility when faced with someone assertive. 2. The wait time for the small train shuttle to and from the room was very long. I suggest informing guests how long the wait will be. The first time we left, it arrived in about 2 minutes, so I assumed it would always be quick. The second time, I waited for ten minutes and it still hadn't arrived. Only after calling again was I told it would be another five minutes. I recommend informing guests of the expected wait time during the initial booking to help them decide whether to continue waiting. Furthermore, the so-called QR code reservation system was not user-friendly at all. You couldn't note the number of people, it didn't show how many people were ahead of you, and I didn't see any time advantage. I specifically took a photo of the QR code and made a reservation while I was in the lobby, but when I went upstairs, I was still behind people who only reported their room numbers to the staff *after* arriving upstairs. Overall, the positives far outweigh the negatives, and I definitely plan to come back in the summer.

Breakfast was incredibly rich and varied; the lamb shaomai was particularly authentic, and the lamb offal soup was absolutely delicious – highly recommend both! From the warm milk the housekeeping auntie discreetly replenished daily to the help with planning my travel itinerary, every little detail exuded a heartwarming, 'home-like' feeling. Upon check-out, the front desk even gave me a souvenir gift, a thoughtful gesture that instantly melted away any travel fatigue. Xin Cheng Hotel isn't just a place to rest; it's a living cultural museum. It tells stories through its architecture, conveys local charm through its cuisine, and embodies warmth through its service. It allows every guest to experience the vastness and gentleness of Hohhot amidst the hustle and bustle. I will definitely be back again. Highly recommended!

There were significant language barriers when dealing with the staff regarding room cleaning services. The minibar was empty, and there was no bellhop service to assist with luggage. The complimentary fruit basket for the room was missing. Furthermore, the reception service was very poor; they insisted on re-processing the payment at the hotel despite the booking having already been paid for via Trip.com.

The room was spacious and large enough for a family, and it even came with three complimentary breakfasts, which was a great deal. The location is good, relatively quiet, and there's a barbecue restaurant and a local specialty shop downstairs that are fun to browse. It's not far from the big fountain, just a ten-minute electric scooter ride away.

We have stayed at several five-star hotels in Hohhot, but Juva Grand hotel is most luxurious in Hohhot, truly provides five-star service. The executive suite is very spacious, featuring two bathrooms and two office desks, creating a remarkably comfortable environment. The hotel’s attention to detail is evident in the soft and cozy carpet in the bathroom. The living room has two sofas for relaxing while watching TV, and even the bathtub includes a TV. In the morning, the circular view from the 26th floor offers breathtaking scenery of Hohhot. The concierge service at the entrance is exceptionally attentive, offering to help with luggage upon arrival and assisting in loading it into our car when we departed. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely reserve it for our next visit!

Here are the pros and cons: 1. **Breakfast:** Consistent with Sheraton's usual standards – neither disappointing nor surprising. All the expected items are there, so you'll definitely leave full. I particularly recommend the waffles and butter pound cake, and the wontons are freshly made, not pre-packaged, so be sure to try them. The only downside is that the restaurant is quite small, and during peak season, it tends to get crowded with queues starting around 9 AM. It's best to go before 8:30 AM. The restaurant staff are enthusiastic. 2. **Executive Lounge:** The afternoon tea was very sparse, with only a few types of mousse and a small selection of fruits, which were instantly gone as soon as they were brought out. The evening happy hour was decent, offering four or five hot dishes, congee/soup, fried rice, pho, etc. Desserts were still mousse. There were several types of spirits and beers available. It was enough to fill up, and the taste was quite good. 3. **Housekeeping:** A male staff member responsible for my floor left me quite speechless. On the first night, he knocked on our door after 10 PM. We were already asleep, and when I got up to open the door, I realized he had delivered something to the wrong room. He just turned and walked away without saying anything, no apology, no smile – it was baffling. The next day, I found I had run out of shampoo while washing my hair. I'm not sure if the housekeeper that day checked the amenities. I called room service, and after a while, the same male staff member arrived, handed me a bottle of shampoo, and left, expecting me to replace it myself. It was a real struggle in the bathroom to remove the old bottle and fit the new one in. 😣 4. **Laundry Service:** The female staff member who came to collect my laundry had the best attitude – humble and polite. Thumbs up to her. 5. **Gym:** The gym isn't large, and the equipment is acceptable, but it lacks a Smith machine and barbells. It's on the lower-to-mid end compared to other Sheratons I've stayed at. I didn't visit the swimming pool, so I can't comment. Overall, for a luxury suite costing over 1,000 RMB, I'd say it was value for money, especially compared to the nearly 2,000 RMB per night prices in Manzhouli and Hailar.

Any requests were handled promptly, which made for a very comfortable experience. The room itself was spacious and well-designed, with good natural light and ventilation. The bedding was soft and comfortable, leading to an excellent night's sleep. The bathroom was clean and odor-free, with stable hot water and a full range of toiletries. The facilities were well-maintained; the air conditioning and internet worked perfectly, showing great attention to detail. The breakfast spread was extensive, a mix of Chinese and Western options, with fresh ingredients and delicious flavors, catering to various tastes. The hotel as a whole was spotlessly clean, and the soundproofing was excellent. The value for money is top-notch in the area. It's an ideal choice for both business travelers and families. The service, environment, and comfort all met my satisfaction, and I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Ordos.

My first time in Ordos. Location was great! Toiletries were very thoughtful (toothbrush w/ toothpaste, comb, vanity kit, shower cap, shaving kit). Provided me with a daily midday snack (2 kefir, 2 nectarines, handful of cherry tomatoes, 1 small cookie and 2 small savory rice crackers). Housekeeping was very attentive. Daily routine of removing trash and replacing towels. They left small detergent incase I wanted to use their laundry facilities. I stayed a total of 4 nights/ 5 days. Staff was amazing, Check-in and Check-out was a seamless process.
