Friendly welcoming staff front of house and the breakfast staff all very professional Nothing pretentious . I would give this hotel 5 stars it is top of the range for a value hotel .

Good value to price. We had a 2 queen room on the 3rd floor. Nothing fancy on the outside, but has everything you need to feel comfortable and unwind in the room. Do note that it may smell a musty if you are very sensitive to smell. Because you are so close to the highway, it gets loud especially on pool side, but also for the location, you're not too far from downtown and the highway to move around orlando. Front desk was friendly and breakfast had a good variety. Would stay again

The shower temperature would not adjust only scolding. Found a water bottle between our bed and the nightstand was not ours.
Other than that it was excellent and we will be back.

Service de navettes gratuites que ce soit aussi bien pour se rendre à EPCOT (non testée mais à partir de ce parc il est possible de se rendre notamment à magic kingdom via le monorail super pratique) et à Universal Studios.
Les horaires sont tôt le matin pour arriver et commencer dès l’ouverture
Enfin, l’hôtel est tout proche d’Universal Studios, très pratique pour rentrer potentiellement en taxi ou autre et profiter des nombreuses boutiques et animations le soir
Goede prijs-kwaliteitverhouding. Goede locatie, dicht bij de belangrijkste attracties en op loopafstand van restaurants, waaronder maar liefst vier Indiase restaurants. Vlakbij bushaltes van LYNX, maar houd er rekening mee dat de openbare bussen in Orlando erg onbetrouwbaar zijn. Het merendeel van het personeel is tweetalig en de schoonmaak is snel en grondig.
Een minpuntje is dat het zwembad erg druk is, vol met kinderen en niet erg rustig. Bij aankomst werd ik aangesproken door verkopers van excursies en ik was gewoon te warm en te moe daarvoor. De beveiliging is nogal streng, maar tegelijkertijd gaf dat me wel een veilig gevoel. Het slot van mijn kamerdeur was lastig en het kostte me vaak meerdere pogingen om binnen te komen, en ik heb tijdens deze reis niet gedronken. Het restaurant is oké, maar is niet erg laat open. Toen ik om 20:15 even binnenliep om te vragen of ze nog open waren, zei de jonge vrouw bij de receptie van wel. Toen ik echter terugliep naar mijn kamer om me om te kleden en te komen eten, stuurde ze een klant achter me aan om te zeggen dat ze gesloten waren. Na die onbeschofte ervaring heb ik niet meer in het restaurant gegeten.
Let op: er zijn een half dozijn Rosen-hotels in Orlando met zeer vergelijkbare namen. Dit maakt het lastig om Google Maps te gebruiken voor routebeschrijvingen en zorgt voor verwarring bij Uber- en Lyft-chauffeurs.
Rooms need updating, door locks to and from the room and bathroom are hard to open. Odd to have fridge and microwave in the bathroom area. The double bed or queen bed....wow small when im use to a king, especially for 2 people. Check-in LONG wait!!! Requested extra pillows bc only 3 on each bed, housekeeping was on point and very attentive and had them within 10 mins. Parking was $10 a night. The 24 hour mini mart is not 24 hours. The coffee shop, coffee was good but doesn't open til 630am. The hotel breakfast was like $15 a person not including tax, 5 and under free with paying adult. Not a bad but not the best. The hard boiled eggs....they need to be boiled then put in cold water for easy peeling....these were far from easy to peal and made a mess. Odd you are limited to one juice per person at breakfast....why can't I have a small orange juice and a small apple....not a large orange juice. Would I stay again.... yeah. I'm fairly local and have been to several of the hotels in Orlando.

Reizen naar de luchthaven verloopt zeer soepel. Er is ook een winkel in het hotel die 24 uur per dag geopend is, zodat ik 's morgens en' s avonds kon kopen wat ik nodig had.
Staffs are very friendly and super helpful! The included breakfast is also really delicious. Overall wonderful its an experience

Breakfast was good but hopefully a breakfast buffet will be available too so as to have more options for the free breakfast included.

Ccm2024As people who travel regularly, we place a lot of emphasis on other reviews when booking. I was rather concerned reading previous reviews of this property, but having stayed at multiple other Ritz Carlton’s (Singapore, Koh Samui, Dalllas, Melbourne etc) we hoped the brand would live up to expectations and great experiences at other properties. IT DID NOT!
Strongly suggest avoiding this property at all costs. Look at the low ranked reviews, they all make sense to me after staying.
This property has us questioning if we would ever stay with this brand again. Amazing isn’t it, how one property can tarnish a brands reputation.
We have been overcharged after checkout after settling the bill when leaving (unresolved at this point but will get to that later).
The first room we checked into had air conditioning so loud you could not hear the TV. It was also dirty with marks and dust/grime on every surface and excess dog hair on the floor. I went to the front desk and the best they could do was “send someone up to check the A/C. The property was practically empty. This was not good enough!
I was fortunate enough to speak with the GM who remedied the room situation immediately. We then dealt with Daniel (who was on loan from Santa Barbara Ritz Carlton) he was a great reflection on the brand. He upgraded us, which was appreciated but not expected, just a room with a reasonable a/c would have been fine.
Rooms are very average, worn and not clean. Linen was stained, towels so old some had tears and holes in them.
The majority of the staff seemed like they would rather be anywhere else than at the Ritz Carlton South, can’t say I blame them but really let the place down.
When dining they would bring the bill before we had finished dining over and over, at times even advising their break was about to start so needed to provide bill, how about you get another staff member to do this…
Upon checkout I paid with an alternate card than I used for the security deposit (to avoid international transaction fees). I settled the bill of approx $450usd and away we went.
A few days later, a charge of $390usd (approx) appears on my original card used for security deposit (along with an international transaction fee). This charge is absolute rubbish and was not warranted, everything was settled and paid on check out.
I rang and rang and rang all day to the hotel and the phone was never answered. Finally I had to call and international call centre where the wind noise in the background was so loud I could hardly hear. I was then told the extra was for bar charges (not ours!) we had one whisky and a coke at the bar which was on my bill at checkout. I was then told they would try to contact hotel and hopefully in up to 2 weeks they would respond to the call centre, and sometime after to me. This from Ritz Carlton? Disgraceful.
We then got lucky and got the US call centre. This was much more helpful and the agent advised the hotel would call back the same day. Still no call back from Hotel, no explanation of why my card was charged… no invoice, no receipts.
Now I need to go through the process of disputing the transaction with my bank. Really?
The old saying one bad apple spoils the cart, couldn’t be more true of the Ritz Carlton South Beach. There were many other disappointing things that happened during the stay that isn’t even worth going into. Such an epic disappointment from this brand.
I am hoping this property reaches out as promised but it holding my breath.

Not wanting to end on such a sour note. Daniel (from RC Santa Barbara) was a standout for guest service as was Noela at the Valet, both embody what guest expect from RC.

FFineganThe hotel is a little confusing to get into as far as parking wise. Amenities are fair. The room was clean.
One drawback I can mention, is the hotel is located right on the train tracks. You can hear the train running all throughout the night. The train runs the horn so be prepared if you plan on staying here, to hear the train.
A second drawback was the thermostat in the room. Yes the thermostat. Why? The one in our room literally illuminated the entire room. It was as bright as a blue fire. I am sure like many of us adults like to sleep in the dark. No this literally was shining so bright you could read a book by the light. I would recommend to dim them for the customers prior to entering the room.
Oh we also had some noisemakers in our room next door. Had to call downstairs to let them know that it was time for rest.
This hotel is located in a party town. So assuming you like to party, it would be good for you.
