Hotels met breakfast in Lombardy, Italy

We verbleven in de tweepersoons deluxe hut met mijn vriend en die was erg comfortabel (verwacht echter niet te veel ruimte, want het is vrij krap voor twee personen, maar het was nog steeds schoon en comfortabel). De badkamer was schoon, net als alles; het personeel was supervriendelijk en meertalig en ze boden zelfs gratis welkomstdrankjes aan. Het ontbijt was geweldig (cornetti, ontbijtgranen, toast en koffie). Om de hoek waren er veel opties, we aten een bruschetta in de buurt die om te smullen was. Ik kom hier zeker weer terug als ik terug ben in Milaan!

Unfortunately, my stay at Glam Milano was very disappointing. The room temperature was around 27°C throughout the night, and despite air conditioning being listed as an amenity, no effective cooling was available. I contacted reception multiple times and was told the heating would be turned off, but this never happened. The room remained uncomfortably hot and made proper rest impossible. I arrived late at night after a 16-hour long-haul flight and had no realistic alternative but to stay, despite the conditions. To make matters worse, I was also required to pay an additional fee on arrival, which felt unacceptable given the circumstances. A hotel at this price point should be able to regulate room temperature properly or at least resolve issues when guests raise them. The lack of solution, combined with poor handling of complaints, significantly impacted my stay. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who values comfort, rest, or responsive service.

The hotel offers very good connections to the city center, making it easy to reach all major destinations quickly. The staff are consistently attentive, friendly, and committed, creating a pleasant atmosphere throughout the stay. Cristina and Seyf were particularly courteous and helpful, even though there was a small initial misunderstanding that was handled professionally and with great kindness. A kettle was also kindly provided for the room, which was very much appreciated. It is unusual that housekeeping is only provided upon departure, which is not typical for hotels. Additionally, both the heating and air conditioning are centrally controlled, which results in noticeably cooler temperatures in the room at night. Despite these aspects, the overall impression remains positive, mainly due to the convenient location and the dedicated staff.

Ons verblijf was erg goed; de accommodatie is schoon en de kamers zijn comfortabel. Het ontbijt was goed en gevarieerd. We komen zeker terug.

Déçu par la literie (très dur), lunette des toilettes pas fixée, pas à la taille, joints de douche noirs par les champignons, poussières dans les grilles de ventilation, problème porte d'entrée de la chambre qui ne fermait pas (du faire appel à la réception) Sinon correct, d'où le tarif de la chambre j'imagine. C'est dommage, l'impression était bonne....

Dit hotel is dit jaar net geopend en ligt op ongeveer 20 minuten lopen van het Centraal Station. Er is een metrostation op 200 meter van de ingang, maar ik kon geen lift vinden 🛗, dus mensen met grote bagage zullen die zelf moeten dragen. Met de metro ben je in ongeveer 15 minuten bij de Dom van Milaan en in ongeveer 10 minuten bij het Centraal Station. Tegenover het hotel ligt een winkelcentrum en er zijn restaurants in de buurt. Het hotelpersoneel is erg knap. Inchecken kan vanaf 14:00 uur. In de lobby staan ​​comfortabele banken om te ontspannen en er is gratis citroenwater en snoep verkrijgbaar. Onze kamer had een tweepersoonsbed en twee eenpersoonsbedden. De kamer was vrij ruim. Het restaurant bevindt zich op de begane grond en biedt een buffet met westerse gerechten. De appelsap was erg populair bij de kinderen. Het enige minpuntje was dat een van de lampen in de kamer moeilijk uit te schakelen was; hopelijk kan dit verbeterd worden!

Dit is een nieuw hotel. Erg schoon. Grote kamer. Op de kamer vind je een föhn, haar- en lichaamsgel en een douchekapje. Uitstekend ontbijt (je kunt veel dingen kiezen om te eten). Maar ik vond één minpunt: 1. Geen oprit bij de ingang. En met zware tassen is dat erg lastig. 2. Geen slippers op de kamer. 3. Geen klok bij de receptie.

The hostel is located 8 minutes walk from Milano Bovisa Politecnico train station. Direct train to and from Malpensa Airport T2 just takes 30 minutes. As far as getting around the city of Milano, there is a Tram-Bus stop (Bausan) just under 5 minutes walk from hostel (after the round about). The 4 bedded sharing room comes with en-suite bathroom with timed hot showers. Bath towel available for rent at 2€. Hostel-wide WiFi access available. The in-house bar-bistro offers good selection of Italian and international fairs. For weary travellers the in-house dinning option is most appreciated. During the day, the common area has a more co-working vibe. As the sun sets, the ambiance transitions to a buzzing vibrant bar-bistro.

A fabulous , clean and friendly hotel. We were greeted by Irena who was lovely and friendly during check in and made excellent recommendations of where we could have an evening meal and a drink. They had read our message about spending the night there celebrating a 60th birthday and had a fabulous room ready with a glass of fizz, chocolates and a scrolled birthday  message from the hotel staff which was really appreciated. Breakfast the next morning was plentiful and delicious - I would definitely recommend this hotel for its location, lovely hotel and friendly and caring staff.
