Het personeel was een van de beste. Het ontbijt was geschikte granen of fris. De verhuizing voelt zich een beetje gedaagd. Ons bed had het beste gezien, de lente was dicht bij het oppervlak van het bed en eens in ons vreesden we te verhuizen in de geval een lente ons gepierd. kamer 116 Toen je beweegde, was het net een toon uit de tubulaire klokken. Het enige spiegel dat de vrouw haar haar zou doen, het plafond licht niet werkte, werd gemeld, maar niets kan gedaan worden omdat het het weekend is. Erg lawaai van buiten op het hoofd verkeer kunt u zelfs mensen horen in hun auto's op de telefoon. Parkeerplaatsen waren overvloedig. Ideaal voor wandelen in de stad voor eten en winkelen. De WiFi werkte niet voor de 2 dagen. Het adres van de IP-adressen kon niet worden gevonden opnieuw Het weekend is weer gerapporteerd. Andere kamers kunnen beter zijn.

Located on part of the Birmingham University campus in Edgbaston so good location for academic conferences / visiting the university, also short distance to dental hospital, cricket ground, tennis centre etc. Plenty of free parking including blue badge and EV charging. Check-in was quick and efficient. Angela, who checked us in, was friendly and helpful. There is a large bar which serves smaller meals throughout the day and also a restaurant in the evening. The bar food was average price for hotel food (£12+ for sandwich with some soup)  and average quality. Room was clean and tidy, with modern decor. It was very spacious and well equipped with seating and table, ironing board, plenty of pillows, pod coffee machine and plenty of coffee pods, tea bags etc. Black out blinds worked well and there was minimal noise from other rooms / corridor. Would definitely stay again if in the Edgebaston / Birmingham area. 

Nive tavern style room with tea and coffee making facilities, above a friendly bar, good access to digbeth businesses. Very nice and helpful staff.

I stayed here at the end of May 2025 as a solo traveller. Quiet location with buildings in very nice landscaped grounds. All areas of the hotel I experienced were spotlessly clean. Staff were friendly, helpful and attentive in all areas at all times. Bed was comfy and room facilities all I needed. Would happily stay here again.

It was an excellent stay at Scarman for me. The room I stayed in was clean, quiet and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful. This hotel has a good range of food for breakfast and the selection of food for lunch & dinner was not huge but the food was delicious. I went to the University of Warwick to attend my son's graduation which the venue for the ceremony was within walking distance. To sum up, I am impressed with this hotel and will definitely stay here again.

Arrived early - 40 minutes - asked if possible to check in. Told to wait ten minutes and then told ok. Went to room and not ready. Housekeeping not aware but did say they'd do our room quickly. No problem. Just wanted to use loo and would come back later. Returned much later. Room ready and clean. Bedroom bin had not been emptied. Very noisy from traffic through the night. Pillows uncomfortable. Breakfast pretty poor. Hot offering sparse and cold. Continental limited. Staff were very pleasant which was lovely and probably made up for the shortcomings. Would choose somewhere quieter, ideally.

Receception is very polite and helpful , Very clean and nice room and toilet, hotel is quiet and perfect place for get away!

De kamer is prima van formaat en heeft alle basisvoorzieningen die je nodig hebt in een driesterrenhotel. Het is schoon en zeker gemoderniseerd vergeleken met hoe het er jaren geleden uitzag. Helaas is er geen airconditioning en is het bed wat kleiner dan in een standaardhotel. De badkamer lekte tijdens het douchen. De kraan moet gesmeerd worden, want hij was wat stroef om op te tillen. De wc-spoeling moet gerepareerd worden, zodat hij goed doorspoelt. De wifi was erg traag en viel af en toe uit. De receptie en de buitenkant van het gebouw zien er na al die jaren helaas nog steeds moe en gedateerd uit. Ik wou dat ze het eens opnieuw zouden schilderen, want het ligt naast het busstation. Ook was het ontbijt te gaar. Bacon, taai, hash brown ziet eruit alsof het in gebruikte olie is gebakken, omdat het zo bruin is in plaats van goudbruin. Het bruine brood smaakt bitter. De koffie was ook niet lekker. Ik denk dat het tijd is dat Britannia investeert in de modernisering van hun keten in het centrum van Coventry. .

Tricky to find your way to this place and at night the location is very isolated didn't feel safe to walk from the Bullring. There was a water problem and I feel it should have been communicated this at check-in however was compensated for water issue and thankful. I stayed in an ensuit and I know it's a hostel however there should at least be a kettle in the room just you get towels for this just my observation. Overall it was a pleasant stay as I would imagine they don't have water issues always.

It was a very nice and modern hotel with a large room and comfortable bed. The use of the spa was complimentary with the room and we were very impressed. There is a bar and restaurant onsite and although service at times was slow (but it was busy) the food was delicious and reasonably priced. My only downside was that there was no hairdryer but other than that all that was provided was very good.
