Overall stay was ok, the service was not bad as we had issues with the aircon and the staff tried to help but at the end could not solve it. He gave us another room but the issue persists. It was really hot the whole night but the room and toilet was clean. The room is not that big but just good for one night stay, super near Gare du Nord.

This is a wonderful hotel quite literally in the middle of Southeastern Ring Road between Vik and Glacier Lagoon. The hotel is comfortable and clean. The staff was fantastic and helpful. Do not miss the restaurant on site -it is surprisingly gourmet for such a rural location. There is a beautiful waterfall right on property -go through the gate to the right for a short walk to see the full falls.

L'hotel si trova in posizione isolata nella campagna vicino il paese di hvosollur. C'è un ristorante all'interno con prezzi in linea con l'Islanda. La mattina c'è un ottima colazione a buffet con dolce e salato. La stanza era pulita e ben riscaldata. Ottimo per chi ama la natura, serve un auto per raggiungerlo.

De locatie is goed, midden in het centrum van de stad Selfoss. Je kunt je reorganiseren voordat je naar de volgende halte gaat, en je kunt ook de reis naar Vik inkorten. Het hotel is erg nieuw, heeft een prachtig uitzicht en er zijn veel restaurants in de buurt. Voor andere faciliteiten, zoals sauna's en warmwaterbronnen, gelden echter extra kosten, die elk ISK 3000 bedragen.

Het landschap is werkelijk prachtig. Ik ben vroeg in de ochtend met mijn zoon naar de warmwaterbronnen geweest en heb de zonsopgang bekeken. Behalve dat de kamer wat klein is en niet geschikt voor een gezin van drie, zijn alle andere faciliteiten voldoende. De kamer heeft een eenvoudige stijl.

We appreciated the one-mattress queen-size bed, something we found to be a rarity in our Iceland trip (the norm seemed to be two twin-beds slammed together, which just isn't the same thing. The staff was helpful and the facilities clean and well-maintained. The only negative was the fact that the hotel charged a separate fee to use the hot tub.

This guesthouse is located between Vic and Hofn, and it is very close to Ice lagoon. The location is good and the scene is nice. The room is very tiny but with bathroom inside. No refrigerator and the facility is very basic. There is a heater in the bathroom, you can dry your clothes. Overall, if no good choice to stay at Hofn, it is Ok.

Nice hotel. Near Skaftafell terminal tour center. Opposite is the gas station, bistro, and minimart. The room is clean. The hotel is modern, neat, and comfortable. A lady at our check-in, in the evening is nice. We were 3 persons stay together, but we didn’t feel uncomfortable as the layout was well organized. Great breakfast.
