The hotel rooms are clean, and the staff provide excellent service. The location is very convenient, as it is extremely close to the subway station—just a few steps from Exit 1 of Line 1 to the hotel elevator, making it easy to get anywhere. Between 8 PM and 9 PM, complimentary sweet soup is offered. The only inconvenience is that there is no place to hang the bath towels. After showering, one has to open the door to retrieve the towel. Additionally, the room's air conditioning is centrally controlled and tends to be very cold. However, it is better at night when the temperature is adjusted to a more comfortable level.

Vergeten foto's te maken van het hotel! We hadden twee kamers geboekt en mijn ouders en kinderen vonden het allebei geweldig! Het was echt heel goed! Een dikke pluim is op zijn plaats!
Hygiëne: Heel schoon en netjes.
Omgeving: Gelegen naast de Tianmen Mountain kabelbaan, dus gemakkelijk bereikbaar.
Service: De service was zeker goed! Vooral de late-night pap viel erg in de smaak bij de kinderen!
Faciliteiten: Erg nieuw, met een minimalistisch en stijlvol ontwerp.
Dankzij dit Hilton Garden Inn, zal ik in de toekomst waarschijnlijk altijd voor dit merk kiezen!
Onze kamer was ook erg goed! We waren er tijdens het Lentefestival en onze ervaring in het hotel was overal uitstekend. Het ontbijt was ook heerlijk! Grote lof!

Deze reis is eigenlijk een familie-uitje. Mijn ouders zijn 70 jaar oud. Ik heb ze meegenomen voor een wandeling. Omdat mijn ouders ouder zijn, stellen ze hogere eisen aan hotels. Ik ben erg blij dat ik voor Su Lu Hua heb gekozen. Van de hotels langs de rivier verdient Su Lu Hua de eerste plaats wat betreft omgeving, faciliteiten en landschap. Laten we ons concentreren op service. Het enthousiasme en de eenvoud van de Hunan-bevolking worden hier levendig weerspiegeld. Sterker nog, ik heb de verkeerde kamer geboekt omdat ik haast had. Hoewel het een driepersoonskamer was, heb ik geen uitzicht op de rivier geboekt omdat ik deze niet zag Ik kwam er duidelijk pas achter nadat ik door de receptie eraan werd herinnerd na aankomst in het hotel. Oorspronkelijk was ik van plan geld uit te geven om het uitzicht op de rivier te upgraden, maar het uitzicht op de rivier was volgeboekt. Nadat ik de receptie had verteld dat het moeilijk was voor ouders en kinderen om te reizen, nam ik contact op met de huishoudster Lily. Nadat ze de situatie had begrepen, heeft de huishoudster de kamer opgewaardeerd tot een maisonnette. Ongeëvenaard terras. Met dank aan de huishoudster Lily. Na het inchecken heb ik resoluut het hotel gekozen om te reizen. Het hotel regelde dat de zus van de familie Miao ons op de reis zou vergezellen om uitleg te geven en te cruisen. Ik wil Miao-zus Xiao Chen prijzen. Ze is heel zachtaardig en geduldig, Miao-zus Xiao Chen vergezelde me de hele nacht en de hele ochtend. Oude familievrienden raden aan om bij het hotel een cruiseschip en een gecombineerd ticket voor 8 attracties te boeken. Zorg ervoor dat je een Miao-zuster vindt die je vergezelt. De kosten zijn echt niet hoog. Toen Didi de winkel verliet, ging hij naar het hogesnelheidstreinstation en kon echt geen lift krijgen. Na 20 minuten wachten. De huishoudster Tian Qin regelde rechtstreeks dat de auto van het hotel naar het hogesnelheidstreinstation werd gestuurd. Je zou kunnen zeggen dat deze reis naar Phoenix begon vanuit Sulu Lulu Lotus en hier perfect eindigde. Nou, dit is de langste opmerking die ik ooit in mijn leven heb geschreven. Sterk aanbevolen.

Kamer: Ruim en licht, en wat bijzonder is, is dat de lamp bij de deur brandde nog voordat ik de kaart erin stak. Dit detail is erg attent, vooral omdat ik met mijn moeder reisde en het hotel ons een upgrade gaf naar een familiekamer. Het supergrote bed van 2,7 meter was een absolute topper!
Hygiëne: Zowel de kamer als de badkamer waren brandschoon.
Service: Van de knappe jongeman bij de receptie bij binnenkomst tot de schoonmaakster op de kamer, iedereen begroette ons met een vriendelijke glimlach.

Wat een fantastische ervaring in dit hotel! De receptie was super attent en de gratis bagageservice was geweldig – na het uitchecken werd mijn bagage direct naar het vliegveld gebracht, waardoor ik zorgeloos en lichtvoetig door Changsha kon struinen! De faciliteiten waren ook top; het matras op de kamer was heerlijk zacht, er was voldoende warm water in de badkamer, de liften waren schoon en snel, en zelfs de muziek in de gangen klonk aangenaam. De volgende keer dat ik met mijn familie kom, boek ik hier waarschijnlijk weer!

super luxe en nieuw hotel. Alle functies waren heel handig en we sliepen op een mooie locatie! Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en het ontbijt was erg lekker en ook erg goedkoop. Er zit een reisbureau in het hotel die ook goed helpt. de kamers worden elke dag goed en grondig schoongemaakt en de kamers zijn erg ruim voor de prijs. Zou dit hotel zeker aanraden en nog een keer terug komen

Het overtrof mijn verwachtingen volledig. Zodra ik de lobby binnenkwam, werd ik aangetrokken door de eenvoudige en elegante inrichting. Het personeel bij de receptie was enthousiast en professioneel. Het inchecken verliep snel en attent. De kamer was schoon en netjes, het bed was zacht en comfortabel en de airconditioning was stil. Ik heb heerlijk geslapen tot zonsopgang.

De kamer is schoon en netjes. De toiletartikelen zijn compleet en schoon. Er is een gratis ophaalservice beschikbaar bij het hogesnelheidstreinstation. Het ligt vlak naast de magneetzweeftrein. De eigenaar kan u ook helpen bij het kopen van tickets met korting. Het ligt ook heel dicht bij de oude stad. Het is erg handig om in de buurt te eten. De kamer met uitzicht op de rivier is prachtig. Vrienden die naar de oude stad Fenghuang willen komen, dit is een goede keuze

Het hotel was super. We werden door het pers9neel goed geholpen. Ze hielpen ons om de weg door de stad te vinden en de weg naar het hotel. De kamers waren schoon en ruim. Het was heel fijn om hier te verblijvem. De locatie was ook super je liep zo de stad in. Zeker een aanrader!!

GGuest UserWe stayed at this hotel for three days to visit the national parks. It’s an amazing hotel with excellent service and fantastic rooms. We loved everything and highly recommend it, especially because it’s very close to the park entrance. It’s easy to get to any location you need by taxi. Overall, we were absolutely delighted. A beautiful, comfortable hotel with outstanding service.

GGuest Usereasily the best stay ever, from the location to the to the whole experience of the stay, from the friendly staffs who were so accommodating to our requests, to being greeted by their friendly companions (shoutout to wang wang and dudu, two super adorable dogs). 4 nights there was such a dream, the view of our room overlooking the mountain, to the whole ambience that foggy valley offers, seriously stunning. not forgetting their restaurant, the dishes offered are of a variety, and it tastes so homely!
and the breakfast offered also serves a huge variety, you won’t get sick of it.
overall, we made a superb decision to stay at foggy valley as our stay in ZJJ, after a full day of walking and climbing and touring ZJJ, this is the kind of stay you want to come back to ☺️

GGuest UserGetting to Orange Isle is super convenient; you can either walk across Xiangjiang Bridge or take the subway just one stop. It's also only about 3 stops to downtown areas like Wuyi Square.
Environment: The surrounding area is a bit so-so, with a few construction sites, but it's very quiet.
Service and hygiene were both excellent, making me feel right at home.

GGuest UserChoosing this hotel in Changsha was such a smart decision! It's super close to Wuyi Square, making it easy to get around by metro or on foot. Everything you need for eating, drinking, and entertainment is right at your fingertips. The high-floor river view is stunning, offering panoramic vistas of the Xiang River and Orange Isle right from your window. The environment is quiet and peaceful, cleanliness is top-notch, and the service is incredibly attentive. Plus, it offers excellent value for money!

EEduarda Carvalho[Parks info below] I'm glad that I checked out this hostel, good value for money. Room was nice and tidy, lots of electricity sources in bed and common area, curtains, hot shower. I shared the 6 beds dorm with just another girl, and you make your own bed. No toilet paper, no free water refill, no light in bed. It's worth the price. If you extend your stay directly in the hostel it's cheaper than the app.
The reception area is more cramped but you can socialize there. Most of the people are Chinese but I also met some foreigners. The guy in the reception speaks English and can give you information, in addition to that I recommend you to do your own research. There are two baby cats playing around, and an adult one.
You can get to the hostel from the west railway station by bus line 17 for 2 yuan - last bus at 8:40pm + 15 minutes walk. Location is close to the main avenue where there's a lot of restaurants, and a 24-hour convenience store close to the corner with this same avenue. There are two night markets in the city, one on the avenue like 10 min distance walking to downtown direction, more local, and another one on the street in front of the tianmen mountain cable car, more touristy. The hostel is 15 minutes walking to the central bus station where you can get the bus to zhangjiajie park and 15-20 to the tianmen mountain cable car station.
[ATTRACTIONS] Zhangjiajie (avatar), tianmen (heaven's gate) and canyon (glass bridge) are 3 different parks in different locations.
The entrance to zhangjiajie gives you access for 4 days. I went the 4 days and enjoyed it very properly. If you're short on time, 2 days will do, but plan it wisely based on your priorities. Gates are 1 hour trip distance from the central bus station - 1h30 at weekends. Also, note that before entering the park with passport and face scan, you need to do an APPOINTMENT for that hour. You usually do it there at the gate, but for a saturday all appointments for that hour were sold out in advance and I had to wait for 45 minutes to go in. Recommended to check in advance especially on weekends.
There are 2 types of tickets you can get: including all cable cars and elevator for unlimited time for 450 yuan; or just the entrance (including only free shuttles) for 215 yuan - you still have the option of buying each transport at the park (75 yuan cablecar one-way, 65 elevator one-way). At first, I had understood that to see the avatar mountains, the ONLY way was through the elevator, so I bought the all-inclusive. Turns out you CAN go by free shuttle + hike + free shuttle if you start in the east gate. My favorite part was the huangshi village.
For tianmen, the entrance is 260 yuan. Choose the route in advance because some sell out fast. Gold advice: go at least one hour or more BEFORE the hour that you have the tickets for. The hour of your ticket just matters before the very last point before boarding the cable car. The line was MASSIVE and it took me 2h30 waiting on a Monday - ended up getting in 2 hours late than my ticket time and couldn't finish the whole loop: took only the red trail and went down to the heaven's gate.
About the Canyon, I can't say much because I decided to skip it and save the 210 yuan ticket - note that this price DOESN'T include the activities, you must pay separately. The package that includes almost* everything is 360 yuan.
Last but not least, if you go to the 72 Wonders, there's also an entrance of 88 yuan. You can go/come back with the bus 17 - same line that serves to the west railway station, last bus 8:40pm.

The staff were more than just innkeepers – they were tour guides, restaurant experts, and thoughtful organizers. Ticket booking, rain gear on a wet day, water always available – I never had to worry about a thing. Like being taken care of by family.
They were also very accommodating with foreigners, spoke some English, and had a fantastic translation app for smooth communication. The most seamless, stress-free stay I’ve ever had.

JJames04The location of this hotel and the room quality for the price are amazing! It’s located right next to a metro station which is only one stop away from the central square, and from there you can take another metro line to orange island or to the railway stations - so this is very handy. The hotel is near lots of places to eat/shop, and the view from the hotel is nice. The room was nicely furnished, had automated controls for all of the electronics/curtains, and had a comfortable bed. The breakfast was not the most expansive, but was tasty. All of these positive attributes were unfortunately somewhat let down by the service, which although incredibly friendly, was certainly unorganised. To begin with, we arrived at 2:30pm for a 2pm check in time, so that we could go out to explore. Unfortunately, we were told the room was not ready, and that we were to come back in an hour, when it would be ready. Given that we were only staying for one night, this significantly altered our plans - but they did at least allow us to leave our bags. However, upon returning around 4pm, we were told that our room was still not ready. Despite the staff being very friendly, not much of an apology/compensation was given. Therefore, we had to wait an additional 20 minutes in the lobby for the room to be ready. Once we were told to head up, we arrived to a wet floor. Whilst this didn’t take too much longer to dry, it was another inconvenience - and all of these piled up to essentially waste our planned afternoon in Changsha. Unfortunately, there were further issues later that day. We had some laundry to clean+dry, and so decided to make use of the hotel facilities. We were quite happy to load the washing machines ourselves, but after doing so, we were told that they would handle the drying for us - great! However, if we had known how long this process would have taken, we would never have accepted. We initially thought we could come back to collect our clothes 2 hours later - a standard time for 30min wash + drying (dryers were all free at the time) - so we returned at about 7pm. However, it was clear that they had forgotten about our (or perhaps other customer’s) washing, as they ran to the machines to move things around, and told us it would be another 2 hours to dry, and then we would be able to collect our clothes afterwards from reception. As a result, we decided to head out for the evening, a planning to return later to collect. At about 12pm, we returned from the evening, obviously expecting the drying to be finished (as we were told we could collect it at 9pm). However, after the staff once again ran to the laundry room (clearly having forgotten about them), we were told they were still not ready and that there was a queue. We completely understand that given the size of the hotel, we would potentially have to wait longer - but the fact we were initially told that it would be ready at 9pm is what made this frustrating, and that it seemed very unorganised. As we were leaving the next morning, we had to stay up late to guarantee the drying would be ready, and so it was only past 1am in the morning we received them back (despite the laundry room being empty at 5pm). Overall, whilst the room was nice and the location was great, these issues significantly impacted our stay (especially due to just being there for one night).

GGuest UserFor the view of the mountains, this stay is so awesome. If you mainly want to see the Zhangjiajie National Park, I really recommend this hotel. For me, I underestimated the amount of time it would take to get to Wulingyuan and Zhangjiajie city. It was a little inconvenient for me because I had to call taxis if I wanted to go out to eat and it was kind of far. A lot of taxi drivers would ask me for a tip because the location was difficult to reach. Apart from the location issue, I really enjoyed my stay. The breakfast was delicious, the staff were so accommodating and kind and even drove me to Zhangjiajie city on my last day. The dogs were so cute and the view of the mountains was stunning. If you want a perfect getaway from the city and stunning views, then this is the place for you. If you want to hangout in the more lively places, it might be kind of a hassle. This hotel is perfect for those who want a peaceful and relaxing getaway.

GGuest UserThe hotel was very clean overall, and the room was tidied up perfectly. The bedding was neat and odorless, and there were no water stains or smudges in the bathroom, which made me feel very comfortable staying there. All the facilities worked properly; the air conditioning and hot water were both excellent, and the bed was comfortable to sleep in. The front desk staff were super nice, and both check-in and check-out were very quick. The environment was quiet and not noisy, offering great value for money. I will definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit.

Went on low season and the staff (小李）upgraded the room for us. 270 degree view of the mountains. We arrived past dinner time and every one was very hospitable and they had the chef wait for us abit and had dinner cooked for us. Highly recommend the stir fry cucumber. Super shiok if u are Singaporean like me. Breakfast was local fare which was a good change from hotel food. Local but delicious 😋.
Don't need to prebook any of your Zhangjiajie tickets. Just pre inform them and they will help you plan and book accordingly. Remember the day starts and ends early and both parks are a easy but it is still a hike/walk nonetheless. So if you want to visit more than 1 attraction a day, remember to sleep early and start ur day early.
Overall, a FANTASTIC stay and of I come back, this is sure the place I wanna stay.
