Hotels met bar in Bratislava Region, Slovakia

I stayed for 3 nights. My main reasons for choosing this hostel were 1. it has a kitchen: as I’m going a lot of travelling I cannot afford to eat out for every meal so made breakfast, prepared lunches and dinner. The kitchen was clean,modern, fully equipped. There was free coffee (beans and coffee maker) , tea, sugar. 2. location: needed to be convenient to the bus station (15min walk) and the historic centre (5-10mins walk). The hostel was easy to locate. The neighborhood felt safe to walk around and shops are near by (including Tescos). Right next to tram station, though I never needed to use it. There are also some very interesting second hand / vintage clothes shops in the street. Check-in was easy (24 hour reception). I was offered the opportunity to pay the 10 euro deposit by card or cash. I paid using a 20 euro note, got change ok and the money was left in my key slot thus easily returned on check out. The reception staff smiled and greeted me when walking in and out, perhaps because I did to them. I stayed in a 6 bed mixed form with en-suite. You choose your bed on a first come basis , though have a key for a specific locker that was large enough to fit my carry on luggage. The room felt spacious and even had table and chairs. Room and en-suite were clean. The beds each have a power socket and small shelf fixed to the wall though no individual light. You pick up bed linen at reception, make your own bed and put bedding in laundry basket when checking out. The pillow was lumpy and could do with being replaced. Sleep quality was good except one night with a very loud snorer (reception gives earplugs for free). It is winter and the room was nice and warm. The room has 2 ceiling lights. An area of improvement would be to be able to switch each light on/off separately. The wall of lockers separates the bed area from the entrance and en-suite door and it would be useful to be able to only turn on the light there. The en-suite was clean and warm (it is November). The shower water was not hot enough for my personal taste but it was not cold. There is an additional toilet and shower room in the corridor for additional use. The corridor also had a fridge. The laundry room is free: has washers and driers but need to buy detergent. It was my plan to stay in and do all my laundry on my day of arrival and I was grateful that I decided to do that rather than do laundry at the previous place. It saved me 9 euros. WiFi is free and reliable. When staying in a shared space the experience is greatly influenced by the other people who happen to be there at the same time. Everyone I met was friendly. The people sharing my room were always respectful of each other. Lights out in the room tended to be by 10pm and when coming in later than that it was possible to turn on the en-suite light and open the door to provide some light to get ready for bed without disturbing others. It was quiet in the room and the only ‘noise’ came from some late night loud voices in the corridor from others but it only lasted a few mins. The soundproofing is not sufficient to block noises from other areas, follow the advice on signs and report to reception if necessary. It is nice that the hostel seems to not tolerate noisy people disturbing others. I was traveling as single female. In the 3 nights the dorm room was never fully occupied, had 8 men come and go staying for a day or two, and I never felt uncomfortable in the hostel or neighborhood. This place is good value for money, comfortable, and I would definitely stay here again.

A great hotel as it is in the name. Exceeded my expectations. The room was great, bathroom also. The shower is rainfall, very nice pressure. Bed super comfy. Wifi is fantastic. Staff really friendly and helpful. Right next to the train station, very convenient. The breakfast was delicious, definitely get the breakfast!

De kamer is schoon, maar de meisjes die bij mij wonen zijn erg luidruchtig. Ze komen laat terug en gaan dan op zoek naar spullen. Dan zijn de kamers op de 2e verdieping, je moet een trap op, dus wees voorzichtig als je grote bagage hebt😎

Good location,excellent customer service. The room is big with modern design, complete with electric kettle(with the usual coffee,tea & sugar) & small fridge. Good selection in the breakfast buffet. It’s a nice touch that they put the guest’s name in the room’s t.v & a small card from the housekeeping staff. I was happy with the cleanliness, until I saw a stain in the duvet/comforter (which looks like an old blood). I only saw it on the morning of check-out when the duvet cover accidentally opened when i was tidying-up the bed. I mentioned it to the reception staff & she said she will feedback to the housekeeping.

It was about a 8 mins walk from the main train station with some mild upslope. Take note there’s a flight of few steps going down to the hotel. However the rooms are so intricately designed with good amenities! They also gave free water, beer, and soft drinks in the mini fridge. Bed and pillows were comfy. One of the top hotels, if not the best, in Bratislava!

Hotel is next to President palace in the city of Bratislava. Hotel is old fashion but big, I got 325 corner room. The TV in room doesnt work also net was extremly slowly. I reported it tu hotel but only I am y sorry its today all hotel problem. In bif hotel chain is not working TV cause for new room or high compensation on level min 25% of hotel room price. Materas are very poor and bed noisy. Breakfad are for my suprise bed, otherwise its training hotel for students for have to tolerant my recomendation is sent teachers tu Dubai to check how to do in serving besuse this is not added value for that students in serving and presentstion of food but old fashion Slovak standards, otherwise food was fresh and tasty.

I stayed here for two nights in a dormitory room shared by 6 people. Inside the room there are locker facilities and an elevator. To enter the accommodation and the room, you must use an entry code. It’s very safe and privacy is well maintained. There is no reception area, everything is done online. There are bathroom and toilet facilities, as well as a shared kitchen area and laundry facilities. The lobby area can be used from 6 AM to 12 AM. Free wifi is available. The bedroom is very comfortable and equipped with privacy curtains. The atmosphere here is very quiet and comfortable, and the location is also very strategic and easily accessible by public transportation. Overall, good services.

It was such a lovely stay! I highly recommend the sauna in the hotel, and the breakfast is great. The location is also good, with walking distance to the main tourist places. There is a bus that goes to the airport directly. The receptionist is very friendly! I wound stay again when I visit Bratislava next time.

De prijs is betaalbaar. Ik heb een eenpersoonskamer met twee bedden geboekt voor 35 pond per nacht. De kamer wordt geschat op meer dan 30 vierkante meter en de ruimte is vrij groot. ▶️Schoon en hygiënisch, het meubilair is eigenlijk een houten decoratie, de tv is geen oud merk en de badkamer is gescheiden van nat en droog. Naast de passpiegel bevinden zich drie externe haken voor het drogen van kleding. ▶️Er zijn veel koffie en bakkerijen in de buurt, en het lightrailstation is ook vlakbij om naar het oude stadscentrum te gaan, dat bijna drie haltes is. Direct tegenover het hotel ligt een Chinees restaurant genaamd Čínska reštaurácia Slnko (wit Chinees eten). Er is een kleine Tesco-supermarkt in de buurt die aan verschillende behoeften voldoet. Op vijfhonderd meter lopen van de omgeving ligt bijna het presidentiële paleis van Slowakije. Kortom, de hele stad is erg rustig en in post-Sovjetstijl. ▶️Het personeel bij de receptie is zeer efficiënt. Het algemene gevoel is vergelijkbaar met dat van een oud viersterrenhotel in China. Er is zelfs een flesopener in het hotel
