A beautiful and peaceful retreat surrounded by nature. The Banjaran Hotsprings Retreat offers breathtaking scenery, privacy, and a truly relaxing atmosphere. The villa was elegant and comfortable, and the hot spring facilities were exceptional. What made the stay even better was the staff — warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. A perfect place to unwind and disconnect. Highly recommended.

The hotel located at the busy road area but the moment you enter the hotel it feels like you're entering the whole new world. The chill ambient, cozy and warm atmosphere occupied the whole parameters. Staff are superb especially the front desk - Kaushilliya. The room offers generous amount of amenities and you won't miss out the excitement. The cons i noticed is just that the gym were close. Kudos to the hotel management and surely will back here on the very next trip to Ipoh.

The bellboy was very helpful from the moment we arrived 👍   The room was clean and comfortable really satisfying stay.   The location is right in the heart of Taiping, very convenient to get around.   Overall service was excellent. Highly recommended 🙌

Charming Boutique Stay in the Heart of Ipoh. A lovely boutique hotel beautifully furnished and centrally located in Ipoh. We especially enjoyed the cozy lobby and its charming Art Deco touches. Rooms are limited, so it’s best to book early, particularly during holidays and festive seasons. We stayed in a duplex room, which was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The room was well-equipped with thoughtful amenities, including a hair dryer, slippers, a filtered water dispenser, a Nespresso coffee machine, and disposable toiletries—more than what you’d typically expect from many hotels. Breakfast was very decent, with made-to-order options such as Western dishes or local nasi lemak. There are also plenty of local coffee shops and eateries nearby if you’d like to explore other breakfast choices. The hotel’s location is a major plus. It’s within walking distance of popular Ipoh attractions like Concubine Lane, Memory Lane Market, and Mural Art’s Lane, as well as the famous Lao Wang beansprout chicken. There are also numerous food options around, and it’s just across from Palo 101, a trendy spot popular with youngsters and a regular venue for New Year’s countdown celebrations. We enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and stylish stay in Ipoh.

Booked a room here to stay close to family in the area, and it was exactly what I needed. It’s a straightforward hotel with all the essential amenities. The room was clean, the room service was prompt, and the reception team was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Great choice if you’re looking for a hassle-free, ”basics done right” experience.

I had a wonderful one-night stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Damai Laut Resort. The hotel is very kids-friendly, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. They have a great kids club and a fun water park that kept the children entertained throughout the stay. The view from the hotel is absolutely beautiful—peaceful and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it easy to rest and recharge. I was also impressed with the food at the hotel. The meals were delicious and offered a good variety, suitable for both adults and kids. Overall, it was a pleasant and memorable stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for families looking for a fun yet relaxing short vacation.

Hoi Tuil Haven, Mijn eerste bezoek aan Tuil Haven was om meer te weten te komen. Ik boekte 2 uur voor aankomst in Ipoh, omdat mijn man net aan Tuil Haven was herinnerd, dus ik heb het gecontroleerd en hier een kamer gereserveerd. Echt een mooie residentie aan het meer. De receptioniste is erg vriendelijk en verleent snelle service bij het in- en uitchecken. (Indiase dame) Zo aardig van haar, ik vergat haar naam te vragen. Het landschap en het uitzicht waren geweldig. De kamer was ook zo mooi en schoon. Het toilet is erg schoon en ik ben dol op het concept van het toilet. Ik ben dol op het uitzicht vanuit de kamer. Ik had uitzicht op het meer en de zonsondergang, wat erg fijn is. De kamer was erg ruim voor ons en we kregen gratis hapjes en drankjes. De voorzieningen waren perfect en compleet. En we kregen gratis versnaperingen in het restaurant. Het ontbijtbuffet biedt ook verschillende keuzes. Het zwembad is erg groot. Er is een zwembad voor volwassenen en kinderen en er is een jacuzzi. Ik vind alles hier geweldig, inclusief de makkelijke parkeergelegenheid en de vele activiteiten die je er kunt doen. Er zijn veel goede plekken om mooie foto's te maken.

Have a wonder stay in this hotel. The location is good and near to one of the famous seafood restaurants. The manager (Steven) is very friendly and helpful, We will for sure stay back this hotel for our next trip in Teluk Intan.

It was an alright stay. Bathroom is really spacious, bedroom is weirdly shaped due to being a corner unit but acceptable. Basic bathroom amenities are there, limited TV channels. Lift and the entire of 2nd floor and room did smell of cigarettes when I checked in, and it was a bit off putting. I try not to look too much into the details such as peeling wallpapers and A/C that doesn't work as regularly as it should (sometimes cold, most of the time just OK despite no changes in the temperature settings). Location was superb. It's a short drive to pretty much everywhere I need to access during my business trip, so that's a plus. For it's price, I can't complain much. But if I'm particular, topping up a little bit more could get me a more recently renovated hotel (C***tel) with equally accessible location.
