Had a very warm welcome. The hotel is a little dated, but was clean. Super friendly and helpful staff and a very large continental breakfast. There were cute tiny olive oil bottles, which was very appreciated. The coffee is a self-serve machine and there was canteen serve for all manner of hot foods, lots of bakery variety. I really enjoyed my one night stay after missing a flight at Verona airport. The staff helped me plan a really fun day until my flight the next day, they stored my luggage, while I went to see the sights. The most beautiful square in the world, dantes statue, Romeo and Juliets balcony, the castle, the river, the amphitheatre and I was lucky to find a wonderful festive market. A wonderful night and day in Verona. I went to the gusti gardens which absolutely wonderful highlight of my day.

Het hotel heeft een fantastische locatie, het personeel bij de receptie is erg vriendelijk, er zijn diverse gratis parkeerplaatsen buiten het hotel, de kamers zijn ruim, de bedden comfortabel, de hygiëne is uitstekend en het ontbijt is eenvoudig maar voedzaam.

De kamer is niet groot en de inrichting is een beetje verouderd, maar de hygiëne is erg goed. Er is geen conditioner in het hotel en de mondwaterbeker is een plastic wegwerpbeker in een afgesloten verpakking. Het belangrijkste is dat het hotel recht tegenover het treinstation ligt. Het is minder dan 3 minuten lopen van het treinstation naar het hotel. U kunt het treinstation vanuit de hotelkamer zien hoofdeiland Venetië.
We kwamen om 12 uur aan en het hotel stond ons toe om vroeg in te checken. Bovendien zijn er niet veel soorten ontbijt in het hotel en is de ontbijttijd van 6.30 tot 10.00 uur. Het hotel biedt geen slippers, tandenborstels en tandpasta, noch gratis water. Er is een betaalde kleine koelkast.
Er zijn 2 kleine Chinese restaurants, 1 sushi-restaurant en een supermarkt genaamd Ali op 3-4 minuten afstand van het hotel (voor de prijs van 1 fles water van hetzelfde merk in de treinstationsupermarkt kunt u 6 flessen kopen in de supermarkt en heb er nog meer)
Binnen 20 minuten nadat u een taxi van het hotel naar de luchthaven Marco Polo heeft genomen, kan het hotel een taxiservice voor € 60,- regelen, rechtstreeks aan de chauffeur te betalen. Het is duurder dan zelf een taxi nemen, maar er zijn niet veel taxi's. Er is ook een bus naar de luchthaven.

No words to say really and the fact that the guy who was resptionist told me this is not my responsibility and I am not a waiter to bring blankets for you was anoteher level. I really like to discuss this with their manager because I've been to that hotel before and I aimed to go again but I don't think so anymore. Not me and my family!
The receptionist was not professional and they expected me to go to their other building to collect the blankets that they did not provide! They were rude that they wanted to get to my room with out prior permission from me to check if the room actually has blankets or not!!!! They did not trust my words as a guest!!! this was so not respectful and of course I did not let them in to the room at 11 pm while my parents are sleeping and told them to check the room while I am checking out in the morning!!
OMG I was waiting for blanket since 12 pm!!!! And they said you should come and collect it because we don't have staff!!!! a 4 star hotel! And once I went there they actually had 2 staff!

Zeer, zeer tevreden? We verbleven in een kamer met uitzicht op de gracht. Ik vond het geweldig zodra ik binnenkwam. De gracht ligt recht voor me, je kunt de gracht zelfs zien terwijl je op bed ligt! De kamer is van alle gemakken voorzien en prachtig ingericht. Het ligt aan de gracht maar is absoluut niet vochtig. Het is zeer comfortabel om in te wonen. Achter de eerste verdieping van het hotel kun je een boottochtje maken over het water handig en leuk! Bovendien is het ontbijt voedzaam! Zeker een verblijf waard!

Отлично расположен, 2 минуты от жд станции, рядом несколько баров, где можно очень вкусно поужинать и выпить кофе. В отеле чисто, тишина, поездов и машин не слышно. Мой номер был с террасой, и возможно кому то не хватало бы приватности поскольку дверь идет на общую террасу и при открытой двери заходи кто хочешь из соседних номеров. А так мне всё понравилось. Но дверцу в душевой кабине неплохо бы починить)

LLady WI was skeptical reading previous reviews but decided to give it a try for one night during my business trip as I’m an IHG member. Having experienced staying at 5 different hotels in this city — most of them within walking distance on Corso Porta Nuova (main street leading from the train station to many main attractions) — I can say that Indigo was among one of my top 2 choices.
The room I stayed in was tastefully decorated — the headboard of the bed immediately attracted attention, striking but elegant, with paintings seemingly telling romantic tales of the city’s history; open wardrobe was clever as it made the room seem spacious while leaving plenty of space for hanging clothes and jackets especially on a rainy day.
The balcony was a super nice touch and was my favorite to come back to in the evening with a view of charming Verona at night watching people and cars passing by. Two chairs, a coffee table with blankets and a little bit of floral decorations. I spent a fair bit of time despite the cold and rain, soaking in the beautiful images which were among the most special memories I’d carry with me from this trip.
Check-in was super efficient. Anna at the reception was an absolute joy to meet and interact with. She’s super kind, thoughtful and professional in helping me with storing my suitcase as I was in a rush to catch my train to a nearby city on a rainy day; she gave clear, accurate info helping me to go to the train station within 10mins; and on the next day, kindly offered recommendations for cafes. Her passion and enthusiasm and friendliness is above and beyond many of her peers. Her genuine smile stands out from others who might be just trying to get their job done. You can tell Anna is truly exceptional and a wonderful ambassador for Hotel Indigo. Keep up the good work!
Breakfast service was super efficient, friendly, attentive. The professional and thoughtful gentleman offered multiple times coffee, tea, orange juice, etc, making sure each guest had everything needed for a good start of the day, quickly clearing dishes while guests stepped away - perfectly seamless. Truly outstanding attention to details. The restaurant offered a good variety of food choices: raw veggies are rare in hotel breakfast buffet but here they did so that was a plus in my book. Fresh fruits, muesli, (no sugar-added) yogurt and scrambled eggs were my go-to. Although I didn’t eat pastries or bread or drink Prosecco for breakfast, if that’s something you like then you’d be pleased to know they offered plenty to satisfy different tastes.
The only thing that prevented Indigo from making my No. 1 choice in Verona was the shower. I requested specifically for a shower because from the photos shared by other travelers and reviews many commented that the bath look dated and needed update. I personally do not take baths in hotels so having a new, good water pressure shower with fast efficient drain would be way more important. They did honor my request with a standup shower corner stall. However, the square-shaped shower stall area was so small that my elbows (I’m petite size female) kept knocking on the glass doors. I believe they’re scheduled for major renovation in Jan-Feb 2024 so it’d be interesting to see if they remodel the bathrooms and showers.

Super perfect service, highly professional and quality staff, good English, efficient, and take care of my every details.
Quality physical condition of the hotel, the hotel is a re-renovated building from a flour mill, so that it is very spacious, my room is big enough also in European hotel.
Great location, 15-minute from St Mark’s Sq, chilled island and not distanced but you’ve to take water taxi to get to the hotel
Qualify breakfast, an unforgettable enjoyment for my stay
Reliable Water shuttle bus - one of the very important services provided by the hotel to go to / from St Mark’s Sq, Euro15 for the whole stay, 30-minute frequency every day. And the hotel also offer complimentary water taxi to Murano Island everyday, so that I can visit both Murano and Burano at the same day.

AAnonymous UserWas given a room all the way to the end and the corridor was far. Took at least 3mins with our luggages. The last room was also alitttle smaller. Call to the reception and thankfully they were able to provide a change of rooms. If you cannot stand noises, maybe get a higher floor cause the trains run till late. The only issue is the coffee machine where it was dirty with leftover coffee remnants when we tried to use it. Location was great, with a supermarket nearby and restaurants and bus stop too.

SSvanzThis was just a one-night stopover on our way back to Milan from the Dolomites, and overall, it was pretty average. The location is near the train station, but the surrounding area didn't feel very safe. The room itself wasn't well-ventilated and had a strange smell. The mattress was quite dirty; they gave us two sheets and told us to sleep between them, with the duvet on top, which was odd. There were no curtains on the bed, but the bathroom was quite spacious, which was a plus. Soundproofing was terrible; there were activities in the common area every night, so light sleepers should definitely beware. Service was minimal, and the front desk staff seemed rather unenthusiastic. For Venice, I guess it's considered good value for money. Next time, I'd rather just transit directly to another city.

I was greeted by the enthusiasm and patience of the hotel owner! ! Because I was very happy that night and a little tipsy. I told the boss that I wanted to jump into the swimming pool naked, and the boss did not refuse, and also prepared a bath towel for me and asked me to pay attention to my body! He is really a very warm-hearted person!! Breakfast is also very sufficient! ! Before I checked out, the boss even gave me a bath towel with their hotel logo for me to keep as a souvenir. Il proprietario dell'hotel è una persona molto entusiasta! ! Perché? Prima di tutto, lo ammiro molto. È in servizio di notte e lavora sodo! In secondo luogo, questo hotel ha una lounge e puoi goderti la musica e il bellissimo paesaggio di notte! ! Poiché il mio amico ha detto di portarmi fuori in altri posti, sono tornata in hotel molto tardi quella sera. Sono stata accolta dall'entusiasmo e dalla pazienza del proprietario dell'hotel! ! Perché ero molto felice quella sera e un po' alticcia. Ho detto al capo che volevo tuffarmi in piscina nuda, e il capo non ha rifiutato, e ha anche preparato un asciugamano da bagno per me e mi ha chiesto di prestare attenzione al mio corpo! È davvero una persona molto cordiale!! Anche la colazione è molto sufficiente! ! Prima di fare il check-out, il capo mi ha persino dato un asciugamano da bagno con il logo del loro hotel da tenere come souvenir. Grazie mille! ! NNicolas15The place is great for a budget-friendly stay near Venice. However, there is no free shuttle for guests without their own transportation, so we had to walk 20 minutes to the bus station and then wait another 20 minutes for a bus to reach Venice center. This was misleading considering the amenities listed. We paid around 60 euros for a 2-day, 2-night stay. Despite this, we still enjoyed our stay overall.

ZZefinityThe biggest advantage of this hotel is its location, but honestly, everything else feels a bit subpar compared to other four-star chains like Hilton. Perhaps it's because Venice's urban infrastructure is quite old. The hotel lobby is nice, but the in-room facilities have some flaws, like certain glued-on fixtures that easily fall off. They do have both new European and old Italian standard power outlets, which is, I guess, okay. There are also a few other minor imperfections, and around 2 AM, there seemed to be a party with young people nearby.
Overall, though, the location and experience justify the price. There are plenty of dining options nearby; I recommend trying some of the highly-rated restaurants for pasta, pizza, and gelato – the prices are good too. After all, hotels on the main island are even less cost-effective and have older facilities. If you have higher expectations for your experience, I'd suggest going a few kilometers away to a Hilton Garden Inn or similar. The price is about the same, the facilities are better, but transportation isn't as convenient. Otherwise, you'd have to pay double the price for something on the main island. For lower expectations, you could try other nearby hostels that aren't hotels.

The hotel's location is superb, within walking distance of major attractions, making getting around incredibly easy. The room was clean, tidy, and well-lit, with soft, comfortable bedding and a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. The front desk staff were warm and professional, making check-in efficient and paying attention to thoughtful details. The breakfast offered a rich variety and tasted great. Overall, it's excellent value for money, and I would choose it again next time.
