We hebben erg genoten van ons verblijf in dit hotel. We waren aangenaam verrast door hoe vriendelijk en beleefd het personeel was.
De hotelkamer was schoon en goed gevuld met handdoeken, Schotse koekjes en alle koffie en thee die we maar konden drinken.
Er zijn hier twee bars, een restaurant en een werkelijk prachtige tuin. Er was voldoende parkeergelegenheid.
Het personeel hielp me met een tang, zodat ik de rits van mijn tas kon repareren.
Het hotel ligt op 5 minuten lopen van de hoofdweg naar Edinburgh, dus je kunt een rechtstreekse bus naar Edinburgh nemen die rijdt van 's ochtends vroeg tot heel laat, om 23:30 uur.
Verblijf hier om wat ponden te besparen in vergelijking met het centrum van Edinburgh en wees aangenaam verrast door de rustige sfeer, ideaal om te ontspannen na een reis.
We vroegen ook om een bad en dat werd ons aangeboden.

Decided to have a night out to a hotel to escape the house, and bought this trip last minute over Xmas. Loved the hotel, we had a great view of the bridges from our room.
We didn't try the food but the bar is pretty cheap considering it's a Doubletree location. Only around £5 a pint.

Chambres spacieuses eh moderned, lits confortables. Ménage régulier , petit déjeuner salé à commander dans le restaurant, prix très corrects en restauration, personnel aimable. Pas de sèche cheveux et prévoir bonnet de bain car le pommeau de douche est haut et fixe. Hôtel très calme et bien isolé. Rapport qualité prix excellent

The hotel was very reasonably priced as we didn't want to stay in Edinburgh as it's not worth the money. The room was spacious enough. The electric heater on the wall took time to figure out. Maybe a guide on how to work it could be left at the table. The bathroom was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable. The TV was big but not all stations worked. The room despite having a few lights still felt very dark. The breakfast was lovely. The seating area felt crammed into eachother. They should use the seating area at the bar as well for breakfast to rectify this. Would I stay here again? I would, yes as long as they keep the price reasonable and with a free breakfast.

The hotel was clean, but I booked a double bed room to share with my sister on trip.com and when I paid and got a confirmation that it’s a double room it was not refundable . When I contacted the hotel they said that because they did not have twin rooms available it reverted the booking to double in the system. I contacted trip.con to cancel the booking they said that it was non refundable booking, I explained that it was their system that made the error and not me, the agent said I will contact the hotel and check if they can accept a refund, she got back saying that they have refused and trip.com could not help. I was furious and I had to go and sleep on the sofa bed and this was uncomfortable also the heating was doing some tapping sound as I am light sleeper I could not sleep properly at all.

MM345514****Hotels in Edinburgh were too expensive for Halloween, so I chose this one a bit further from the city center, but it was easily accessible by public transport. The front desk staff were very friendly, and the room felt warm and inviting. I mentioned the sheets were a little dirty, and the manager personally changed them for me, which I felt a little embarrassed about. The view from the window was of a peaceful Scottish autumn landscape. I initially thought traveling to and from the city would be time-consuming, but I unexpectedly saw Scottish pastures and sheep, as well as the World Heritage-listed Forforth Railway Bridge and Queensferry Bridge along the way – a truly delightful surprise! I had seen the railway bridges from the plane; they were magnificent. I never imagined we would actually pass by them – a wonderful unexpected bonus. It was a pleasant surprise, and I truly experienced the authentic Scottish countryside. I loved it; it was definitely worth the trip.

Lacking in effort to provide after sales services. In addition electrical trip and some guests were stranded in the elevator for an hour.

SShepShepThe trip was great, comfortable beds and a terrific shower. The breakfast was tasty and staff friendly. I’d really recommend the breakfast as it’s a buffet style for tea, coffees and pastries. I’d stay there again the next time I’m in town!

GGuest UserSpacious and modern rooms, comfortable beds. Regular cleaning, savory breakfast to order in the restaurant, very reasonable prices for catering, friendly staff. No hair dryer and bring a shower cap because the shower head is high and fixed. Very quiet and well-insulated hotel. Excellent value for money

SsammlThe outside of this hotel worried us as it looks quite run down, but the rooms were serviceable. It was a hot day in Scotland (rare!) but this meant we found the room a bit uncomfortable with no cooling/fan. Bed was also quite a small double bed as a heads up!
Breakfast was delicious and the bar is well priced - all in all, this was a decent enough stay in the area but we wouldn’t go out of our way to return.

GGuest UserThe location was wonderful, just at North Street and not far from Scores, the city T2 social, the city centre, all the restaurants.
We were so lucky with the weather, and managed to have a round of golf at the New Course.
the rooms were big and nicely heated. I managed to get the corner room and have great views of the streets. It was well ventilated and the noise on the street did not affect me.
