Zoals verwacht is het een prima prijs-kwaliteitverhouding. De locatie is goed voor wat je nodig hebt. Mijn kamer, 2215, heeft een mooi uitzicht over de stad. Het ontbijt is goed, maar altijd druk. De airconditioning maakt wel lawaai. Maar toch! Ik raad het aan.

Het hotel is nieuw, maar mijn collega en ik werden bij onze online boeking op verschillende verdiepingen naast de lift geplaatst. We hoorden een rommelend geluid telkens wanneer de lift aansloeg.
Om 00:00 uur ging er een scherp alarm af dat meer dan tien seconden duurde, en daarna nog een keer om 01:00 uur. Het was zo beangstigend dat ik er niet goed van kon slapen. Ik meldde het de volgende dag bij de receptie en ze zeiden dat ze het aan het onderzoeken waren, maar ze gaven me geen uitleg.

Er hing een vreemde, muffe geur op de gang. De kamer was behoorlijk vochtig. Er was een raam, maar dat kon niet open. Het personeel was redelijk vriendelijk. Op de eerste dag ontdekte ik dat ik de verkeerde adapter had meegenomen, dus vroeg ik bij de receptie om een vervangende adapter, die ik één nacht heb gebruikt.

I had a fantastic stay at Laghetto Stilo São Paulo. Everything was excellent — the room was spotless and well-maintained, the location was convenient for both work and leisure, and the staff provided exceptional service throughout my stay. The amenities were top-notch, including a well-equipped gym and a comfortable workspace, which made it ideal for a business traveler like me. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting São Paulo!

De kamer was prima, maar in de twee kamers die we geboekt hadden, was er geen warm water uit de kraan of in de douche. We hebben niet gedoucht omdat het maar 8 graden Celsius was!
De medewerker zei dat de manager contact met ons zou opnemen voor een terugbetaling, maar tot op heden is er nog niets gebeurd!

The hotel Hampton by Hilton Guarulhos Airport is an excellent choice for travelers, especially if proximity to the airport and a high level of service are important to you.
The main advantage is its convenient location near Guarulhos International Airport, along with the available shuttle service, which makes arrivals, departures, and layovers much more comfortable. It’s an ideal option both for a short stop between flights and for a business trip.
The rooms are modern, clean, and well equipped. The comfortable beds and high-quality bedding ensure a great night’s sleep after a long flight. Each room has everything needed for a pleasant stay, and the soundproofing helps you truly relax.
The staff is polite, attentive, and professional — always ready to assist with any requests and making guests feel genuinely cared for. The breakfast is also worth mentioning: it’s delicious, varied, and included in the stay.
Overall, Hampton by Hilton Guarulhos Airport offers a perfect combination of comfort, convenience, and high service standards. I would gladly stay here again and confidently recommend it to other travelers.

The hotel has a great location, making it convenient to access nearby attractions and public transportation. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service throughout my stay. Alles was sensationeel, van onze aankomst tot het uitchecken. We hadden een klein probleem met de lucht, maar ze hebben het snel opgelost. Heerlijk ontbijt en het beste deel was het personeel van de receptie - in- en uitchecken. De begeleider zei dat we een bonus zouden krijgen voor ons volgende verblijf - alles VIP - VIP-service. GGuest UserI stayed at Wyndham São Paulo Ibirapuera Convention Plaza Hotel twice during my trip (April 3–8 and April 10–11), and overall, this was a very mixed experience. I’m an international traveller so I would say I have my fair share of seeing all sides to a hotel. To be a 4 star hotel and to charge premium rates, I would expect certain things.
Let’s start with the positive to the hotel -
The location is excellent. From the hotel across there is a shopping mall, which makes it extremely convenient for food, shopping, and daily necessities.
• Cleanliness is generally acceptable. Aside from one incident, (on my first night, I found red stain marks which looks like lipstick on my sheets, took a photo and alerted receptionist the next morning for a change of sheets.
• Room size is spacious and comfortable. I stayed in the “ superior room” and the junior suite.
The issues (and they are significant):
1. Misleading room expectations
The room I received looked noticeably older and more worn than the photos online. Doors, bathroom condition, and overall finishing did not match what was advertised. It felt misleading. This hotel definitely need a glow up.
2. Poor service & lack of flexibility
Service was the biggest disappointment.
• Staff were generally not proactive or solution-oriented.
• I made a booking error via Trip.com and tried to adjust the dates. Both the platform and hotel refused to help or offer alternatives.
• Even a simple late check-out request (which I informed them about in advance and was willing to pay for) was declined without much effort to accommodate. I wasn’t also asking for hours just a mere 2 hours so that I can go to the city to pick up some stuff before my long haul 32hours flight.
4. Billing inconsistencies – check your charges carefully
• I was initially charged for 2 minibar items when I only consumed 1. I manage to catch this on time before paying for it.
• Laundry count was incorrect (11 pieces sent, billed for 12). Receipts and explanations were unclear, and I’m still not fully confident everything was billed correctly.
5. Missing basic amenities (unexpected for this level)
• No iron or ironing board available
• No kettle / hot water in the room
• No complimentary drinking water
• Everything must be purchased separately
6. Language barrier for international guests
Not all staff speak English, which can make communication difficult if you’re not Portuguese-speaking.
Overall verdict: This hotel is convenient but not service-oriented.
If you are Brazilian or familiar with local expectations, you may find it acceptable. But as an international traveler, the experience falls short—especially in service, transparency, and attention to detail.
Would I return?
Probably not, unless location is the only priority.

They claim the shuttle runs 24 hours per day leaving on the hour each hour but for some reason they do not have a 1 pm shuttle and this was not indicated on the website

I confess that I was a little apprehensive due to some not-so-nice comments about the accommodations, but everything was perfect.
The hotel decor is beautiful, we were very well looked after from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The receptionists are very nice and attentive.
The room is magnificent, very cozy, spacious beds, a large bathroom and a hot shower with strong water to relax.
We spent New Year's Eve on the eleventh floor of the hotel itself: wonderful!!
My congratulations to all the staff, I will definitely be back and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

GGuest UserThe hotel is very close to the airport, about a 10-15 minute drive. Although the direct distance is short, the road design is poor, requiring a lot of detours, which adds to the travel time.
The hotel is quite new, the newest of all the hotels on my Brazil trip. It's not in the typical dark red style, more like a bright-colored economy hotel in China, which I liked.
There's an airport shuttle at the entrance, seemingly running hourly, but unfortunately, I missed it.
The restaurant is decent; the selection isn't extensive but still acceptable.
There's an outdoor courtyard which is very comfortable for a short sit.
The room is compact but all the facilities are brand new.
WiFi connectivity was poor.
I asked the front desk if it was safe outside, and they replied that it's okay during the day but best not to go out at night. It's hard to imagine that even near the airport it's like this.
I had dinner at the hotel, costing 79 BRL per person. For someone like me who isn't used to the local flavors, it wasn't good value for money.
Throughout my entire Brazil trip, the only meal I thoroughly enjoyed was the BBQ buffet hosted by my client in Curitiba, because it had flavor. All other meals were bland and just for filling the stomach.
Considering the price and location, I would still choose to stay here again.
