Villas in Mimaropa, Philippines

"We verbleven vier nachten in Casalay Boutique Villas and Dive en hebben over het algemeen een fantastische ervaring gehad. De locatie is werkelijk bijzonder – adembenemende uitzichten, prachtig ontworpen villa's, een zeer goed onderhouden terrein en spectaculaire zonsondergangen bij het zwembad of vanaf het terras. De sfeer is rustig en ontspannend, perfect voor een luxe vakantie. Houd er rekening mee dat de reis ernaartoe wat lastig kan zijn. Er rijden regelmatig bussen van Manila naar Batangas City, maar de laatste veerboot vertrekt om 16:00 uur. Zorg ervoor dat u uw reis hierop afstemt – wij ondervonden hierdoor wat problemen. Het eten is duurder dan de lokale opties, maar wel erg schoon en makkelijk aan te passen aan vegetarische wensen. Hoewel het vegetarische menu beperkt is, was de manager erg behulpzaam en stond open voor aanpassingen, wat we zeer op prijs stelden. Er zijn tal van activiteiten: een betaalde boottransfer naar Secret Bay, excursies naar Sabang, duiken, massages en meer. Let er wel op dat u duidelijk nagaat of u activiteiten via het hotel of via externe aanbieders boekt, aangezien de prijzen kunnen variëren en er vaak toeslagen worden gerekend. Enkele kleine minpuntjes: onze kamer werd slechts twee van de vier dagen schoongemaakt, wat niet helemaal aan de hoogste hygiëne-eisen voldeed, en het strand had iets schoner mogen zijn. Desondanks hebben we een zeer aangenaam verblijf gehad. De combinatie van vriendelijk personeel, prachtige omgeving en unieke locatie maakt dit hotel een echte aanrader."

"Beach is very beautiful but the location is very far. The amenities and room is excellent but it would be better if the room is facing the beach. All in all we like our stay and to kuya who assist us, thank you very much, you're so accommodating to us!!!"

"We stayed for a night at this hidden villa, and it felt like a true home away from home. The staff were incredibly kind and respectful, providing excellent service that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The food was a highlight—absolutely delicious, with a healthy breakfast offered in the morning. You can even request a floating breakfast, which added a special touch to the experience. While the villa is tucked away down a short gravel road, the peaceful and private setting made it worth the effort. The villa is kid-friendly, but families should be cautious around the tiled swimming pool area. There’s no TV, so if you’re traveling with children, make sure their devices are charged. Fortunately, the Wi-Fi is strong and reliable. Overall, it was a lovely, relaxing stay with amazing food and warm hospitality. We highly recommend this villa for a cozy and memorable getaway."

"We could like to recommend Anitsa resort for people seeking peace and quiet accommodation. We stayed here for 5 days and we loved it. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious - thanks to the chefs. The room were cleaned everyday and the resort was spotless. The only downside was the location. It costed us 200pesos for 2 people special trip (meaning not sharing with the locals) to hire a tricycle to El Nido Town which was 4km and 200 pesos from Anitsa to Lio airport/Lio beach. Special thank you to all the staff who looked after us during our stay. ❤️"

"Absoluut de beste accommodatie in El Nido. Het uitzicht is adembenemend. De villa's liggen natuurlijk tegen een heuvel aan, vrij hoog. Dus geen enkele lokale tuktuk uit Tulsa kan er komen. Je moet dus de intercom bij de ingang bellen, dan halen ze je op en brengen je naar boven. Wij verbleven in een villa met vier personen en dat was fantastisch."

"As a solo traveler, Alam Indah Beach Resort was the perfect place to unwind. The beachfront is peaceful, ideal for quiet moments and beautiful sunrise views. The room was clean and comfortable, and the calm, uncrowded atmosphere made it feel safe and relaxing. The staff were warm and attentive, which made the stay even better. A great choice for anyone looking for a serene solo escape."

"7/10 – Beautiful, modern villa, but disappointing service and a few practical issues We stayed for three nights in Villa 3, the ground-floor villa with a private pool. Our first impression was excellent. Everything was modern, spotless, and beautifully maintained. The villa smelled lovely, the minibar was well stocked, and even small details, like the outdoor shower for rinsing sand off your feet, were appreciated. The private terrace with its pool and outdoor kitchen was lovely, but there were several drawbacks. First, the insects. There were A LOT of biting insects in the outdoor area, not just mosquitoes. Despite using repellents, the provided citronella spray, and the ceiling fan, we still got badly bitten. It would be helpful if the property could recommend or provide something more effective against the local insects. The pool was also quite cold, as the terrace receives very little direct sunlight. We even had a cute little frog living in the pool filter! We informed the staff, but nothing was done. Personally, we found him adorable, so if you're staying in Villa 3 and he's still there, please say hello from us! The outdoor kitchen includes a BBQ area, but charcoal isn't provided. We were told to buy it ourselves, yet couldn't find any at the recommended supermarket. Having a BBQ area that guests can't easily use seems a little impractical. Housekeeping was another issue. We didn't need full cleaning, just fresh towels and drinking water. The water was replenished and bath towels were changed, but our requests to replace the pool towels were ignored twice. However, the most disappointing experience involved a dog living near the villas. She was a very sweet, partially blind mother dog whose puppies occasionally came around. I fed her throughout our stay and became quite attached to her. Before leaving, I gave the staff some food and a small tip, asking them to feed her and send me a photo. They agreed. Unfortunately, over the following days, I received excuses about rain and the dog being absent, despite her having been around almost constantly during our stay. Eventually, I received a photo showing only the dog's backside, with no indication that she had actually been fed. I cannot say whether they fulfilled my request, but the way it was handled was genuinely disappointing. It was a small, personal request that they had voluntarily agreed to, and I expected better communication and follow-through. It left me questioning how genuine the hospitality was once we'd checked out. On the positive side, the staff were friendly in person and helped us arrange a motorbike rental. Laundry service was also convenient. There are a few restaurants along the nearby beach for breakfast and dinner, with more options in town. However, the beach itself isn't really suitable for swimming – it's shallow, rocky, and covered in seaweed. You'll need to travel to other beaches or use the villa's pool. Overall, 7/10. The villa itself is beautiful, clean, and comfortable, but the insect problem, overlooked requests, and especially the disappointing experience after checkout affected our impression. With more thoughtful attention to guests' needs and better follow-through on promises, this could be a much better experience."

"Мы провели замечательные 3 дня в Denika's suits. Менеджер Francisco со своей командой любезно встретил нас в аэропорту в 9 вечера и благополучно бесплатно отвёз нас в отель. Нам достались великолепные 2 бунгало. Они точно как в описании на сайте и даже лучше. Большые, чистые, уютные. На следующий день этот же менеджер за небольшую плату отвёз нас на крокодиловую ферму и по магазинам. В отеле заказывали вкусный ужин. В день отъезда Francisco отвез нас к месту встречи с перевозчиком до Эль-Нидо. Непунктуальный водитель автобуса приехал с опозданием на час. Менеджер любезно предоставил нам свою машину для ожидания. Большое спасибо ему и всей его команде за обслуживание и помощь. Отель находится удалённо от центра, но это никак не отразилось на нашем пребывании. Очень большая и ухоженная территория. Рекомендую для бронирования."
