Ik vond de plek erg leuk. Het was een goede ervaring. Goede behandeling van de receptie. Ze hebben een geweldige keuken met alle beschikbare gereedschappen en gratis drankjes. De gastvrijheid is meer dan geweldig. Ze hebben een goede kleine tuin en een speciale plek om te eten. Ik raad de plek echt aan.

Exactly located in city centre, it is very convenient. Restaurants, bar, coffee shops, supermarkets, metro, bus, shopping are nearby. The staff are very helpful, nice and friendly.
The hostel is having great atmosphere and good vibe especially living rooms and kitchen. The shared room is great and having all common facilities that we need plus individual fan, socket, light, locker and curtains. Also, they are providing free breakfast everyday. Need to pay for the towel 2 Euro for each and hair dryer is available for free at the reception.
The hostel is wooden floor and a bit noisy during the night. The rooms next to the street might get some noise from outside. Only 2 toilets and 3 showers for shared dorm but fine.

De afstand vanaf het centrum is niet al te ver en je kunt er lopend naartoe.
Het hotelpersoneel was ook vriendelijk en maakte het verblijf heel gemakkelijk. Je moet je eigen voorzieningen meenemen, behalve de standaard lichaamszeep, maar de gedeelde ruimtes zoals de doucheruimte en het toilet werden redelijk schoon en gemakkelijk te gebruiken gehouden.

Loveeeeedd the green heart hostel! Starting off they accommodated our early arrival. The staff were amazing, super friendly and helpful when it came to finding places to go, eat and answering any other random questions I had. This place is not far walking distance to some great places. Would definitely come back and stay here if I visit Lisbon again!

Review:
The location is perfect—just a 5-minute walk from the main subway station and within easy walking distance of all the major attractions. Despite the central location, our room was incredibly quiet and peaceful.
The room itself was spotlessly clean, modern, and surprisingly spacious. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and the blackout curtains ensured we slept in every morning. A special shout-out to the housekeeping team for their attention to detail.
The staff were the true stars of the show. The concierge, gave us brilliant meal recommendations. Everyone at the front desk was friendly and efficient.
Highly recommended!

This Is Lisbon Hostel heeft een centrale ligging in Lissabon, vlak bij Kasteel van São Jorge en op 10 min. lopen van Uitkijkpunt van Graça. Dit hostel ligt op 1 km van Rossio Square en op 1,1 km van Kathedraal van Lissabon (Se).
De accommodatie heeft een terras waar je van het uitzicht kunt genieten, maar profiteer ook van gratis wifi en conciërgeservices. Dit hostel bevat ook een gemeenschappelijke woonkamer, een picknickplaats en barbecues.
Sluit je dag af met een drankje in een bar/lounge. Dagelijks kun je tegen betaling genieten van een lekker à-la-carte-ontbijt, dat geserveerd wordt van 08.00 uur tot 10.30 uur.
Enkele van de voorzieningen zijn een computerstation, een 24-uurs receptie en meertalig personeel.

Het is maar een paar minuten van het metrostation, wat handig was omdat ik laat aankwam op de luchthaven van Lissabon. De douches en toiletten zijn erg schoon.
De bedden en kluisjes met slot zijn goed onderhouden en in goede staat.

De locatie van dit hotel is geweldig. Het is vanaf de luchthavenlijn rechtstreeks verbonden met de stad.
Er is ook een bushalte op slechts korte loopafstand van de deur, waarmee u de belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden kunt bereiken.
Er is ook een welkomstdrankje
De receptie van de jeugdherberg is ook erg aardig.
Je moet naar de Notre Dame gaan!

No curtains on the beds, the light can bother, no privacy.
There is elevator, no problems with luggage.
There is a kitchen, but is closed in the night time.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.

SSefy LevyThis hostel is located about 3km walk from the center city, but does have some close by attractions (such as the Jeronimo's Monetary)
The room is extremely small, if you seat on the edge of the bed and try to stretch your legs, you'll most likely hit the wall.
We had our room replaced, as the first room had zero privacy for the toilet and the second room gave the illusion of privacy (as you can see in photos)
We've not seen any of the management, as everything is done thru WhatsApp to contact them and they will respond.
Breakfast was OK, it had a bit of choices but there was more cakes and cookies then actual food.

GGuest UserOn a busy street, it’s not very quiet, but you can wear earplugs. Your experience depends on the other travelers, of course, if they are considerate.
The staff is very nice and accommodating.
The reason I like this place is because it has a lot of character. It’s a turn-of-the-last century, 1890s palace, with very fancy ceilings, parquet wooden floors, and a marble floor lobby. It’s a real palace, one of many in Portugal!
In 1914 it was rented to the Swiss Ambassador of Portugal. Although the place is quite dated now, it still has a lot of class.
If you have a little more money, you can rent a small suite, higher up and quieter, also with credit card points (free or almost ).
Unfortunately the internet only works in the lobby if you have a mobile phone. It seems to work fine for iPads and computers, strangely enough.
It has a kitchen and washer / dryer.
The fridge is old-style retro, as well as the deco in the whole hotel / hostel.
(small fridge, but it does have a small freezer, too.)
The place has a restaurant, which is popular. If you eat a large breakfast you can include it with your rent, it costs about 9€
(I don’t , so the kitchen was fine – modern electric stove top, microwave – no oven!)
The top bunk of a three-tiered system is fairly safe, as it has steps, instead of ladder rungs. It has wooden lockers (bring your own lock) and small boxes, hidden in the stairs at every bed level. Not for the faint of heart or those afraid of heights…
or those who can’t do stairs.
Two flights of stairs up! Shared rooms on first and second floors, kitchen is on the first.
No elevator to the shared rooms, unlike the suites.

AAnonymous UserStayed for 4 nights in a female ensuite - overall I had a positive experience! Firstly it was clean! A few things to note is that it isn’t the most sound proof to traffic and the temperature of the shower suddenly dipped from day 2 onwards. I can’t comment for social aspects but they offered some walking tours, pub crawls and drinking/ game tournaments on for some of the weeks. I didn’tutilise it but the kitchen area seemed stocked. Wouldn’t say it had the most social atmosphere in the common area but I was out for most of the time I stayed.

GGuest UserGenerally it's a good hotel, providing you best location in Lisbon and the room and facilities are quite new and in good quality. But the only thing I am not satisfied is they only provide you one towel even you stayed 4 nights. Extra one charges you 3 Euro which is hard to accept.

AAnonymous UserThe location was excellent, and the backyard area was wonderful—I met some very kind people there. However, when I entered the room, the smell was so strong it almost made me lose my sight. The beds were old and creaked with every movement. The person sleeping in the upper bunk sounded like he was drowning and was talking in his sleep, not to mention the other people snoring. It was only one night, and I will not repeat the experience at the same place again.

SStudentOverTheSeasstaffs are very welcoming. the location’s quite good as there’re supermarket, cafes and tram stations (line 28) nearby. the luggage storage is just putting your luggage on the floor, which feels not very safe. Also, someone who stayed there disturbed us RIGHT after 11pm saying that it’s the hostel’s resting time. but overall it was a good stay

GGuest UserI regret booking this hostel immediately after enter the room. Room is too small and air circulation is not good. Not enough spaces to place personal belongings. I booked here based on the high reviews score but I think it is overrated. I hurt myself when I squat down to close the metal drawer. It has some sharp edges. Breakfast is okay if it’s is included in the booking. If buy it separately at 9 Euro it’s overpriced.
