Ons verblijf in het Lijiang Shanhai Villa Resort Hotel was absoluut uitzonderlijk! We werden begroet met een adembenemend uitzicht op de Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, direct vanuit onze kamer, waardoor elk moment een visueel genot was. Het hotel ligt in een afgelegen en rustige buurt, perfect voor iedereen die op zoek is naar een rustig toevluchtsoord.
Het hoogtepunt van ons verblijf was de uitstekende service van de dame bij het inchecken (Xiao Mei). Ze was ongelooflijk behulpzaam en deed er alles aan om ons comfort te garanderen. Ze hielp ons niet alleen met al onze wensen, maar reed ons ook naar Lijiang om de lokale avondmarkt te verkennen, waar we genoten van heerlijke lokale delicatessen. Onderweg stopte ze zelfs bij de prachtige Lijiang Cherry Blossom Avenue zodat we een paar prachtige foto's konden maken.
Over het algemeen was de gastvrijheid die we ontvingen eersteklas en we vertrokken met een zeer tevreden gevoel. Ik kan deze plek van harte aanbevelen aan iedereen die op zoek is naar een rustig toevluchtsoord met uitzonderlijke service!

This hotel was fantastic! The room was beautiful and the amenities were in very good condition, especially the hot spring bath in the hotel room. The hotel manager was extremely helpful. I didn’t have much planned when I arrived but he gave me great recommendations and even helped me book all the necessary arrangements. The hotel manager is also very knowledgeable about tea and spent a lot of time teaching me about tea. This hotel has a warm, personal feel that you cannot find at large hotels. I definitely recommend staying here.

Een knusse, prachtige kamer in traditionele stijl en een hotel met een vijver op de binnenplaats. Een zeer rustige plek. Gunstig gelegen, vlakbij de ingang van de oude stad en dicht bij de kabelbaan. Een ideale plek om te ontspannen in Dalí. Heerlijke noedels voor het ontbijt. Het hotelpersoneel is zeer attent, behulpzaam en behandelt gasten met vriendelijkheid, wat een groot plezier is.

Another great option for homestay, I love the place, where is private and also near the Erhai Park which you can chill there. The service was very good! Facilities, and some devices are very good quality, which make us feel very safe!

彝人古鎮這個點是臨時決定去的，昆明和大理中間，本想衹是中轉一下，卻意外邂逅了一個具有彝族特色的古鎮風貌，同時也看到了不一樣江南水鄉的風景。入住的這家隱居民宿也是這次旅行驚喜之一，這個藏在彝人古鎮內部的小院子僅有四間房，但每個房間都很大，各有特色，院子有多公共區域給客人使用，水景休息區、很多綠植、茶室等，整體很有禪意，很安靜，非常推薦。

So I traveled here for my mom's 60th birthday. We had 3 nights at the beautiful villa with the amazing sunrise view. We didn't bother the villa butler that much cuz we had most of each day in the parks or botanical gardens, the villa butler was very nice to arrange our breakfast.
The peak season has yet to come, so the villa sounds super quiet but yes! That made me feel relaxed every single minute.

I’ve just returned to my home country, and I’m already missing my stay at Aromatic Hotel! The location is perfect—nestled right at the foot of Yulong Mountain, where you can witness the breathtaking golden sunrise every morning.
The hospitality at Aromatic Hotel is exceptional. Even before our arrival, they contacted us with helpful details about check-in and provided valuable information about Yuhu Village. As female travelers, we truly appreciated how attentive, caring, and thoughtful they were throughout our stay.
The most amazing surprise was the room upgrade! They gave us a spacious room with stunning mountain views. It was warm and cozy, thanks to the staff who made sure the heater was on before we arrived. The bed and pillows were incredibly fluffy, and we had the most restful sleep.
A special highlight of the hotel was the adorable cats and kittens—they added such a charming and homely touch to the experience.
If you’re visiting the area, I highly recommend staying at Aromatic Hotel. With its amazing location, thoughtful hospitality, and cozy atmosphere, it’s truly an unforgettable place to stay.

酒店坐落在別墅羣裏，環境是難得的幽靜，再加7月的天氣，相較於其它城市的高温天，版納時晴時雨，雨後天氣變得很涼爽，環境，天氣，酒店不錯的服務，都讓這趟旅行有種極致的放鬆和不錯的體驗。所以，去版納玩，如果想要的是體驗不同的風土人情，加有不錯的入住體驗，完全可以選擇離繁華地段較遠的這家酒店。

Выбранный дом полностью соответствует фото. Хозяева приветливые, быстро ориентируют по любым вопросам. В номере производилась ежедневная уборка.
Дом расположен на территории большого и живописного коттеджного поселка. С парковочными местами проблем не было. Как там передвигаться без собственного или арендного автомобиля, не знаю. Кроме того, данная территория хоть и находится на расстоянии 10 км от города, но из-за плохой городской инфраструктуры поездки до центра всегда занимали 30-45 минут.
Помимо прочего, бассейн, изображенный на фото отеля в период нашего пребывания (новогодние праздники) не работал, что было весьма неожиданно.
Ну и вдобавок, на территории коттеджного поселка вообще нет ни одного западного ресторана или кафе, а выбор имеющихся тайских/юньнаньских довольно ограниченный.
В целом, место очень интересное и необычное, но для иностранных гостей есть свои нюансы...

YYuanyouyuan.This guesthouse was a real gem, easily a full five-star rating! The entire place is an elegant Bai-style courtyard, with quaint bridges and flowing water, creating a serene and refined atmosphere. Despite being right inside Dali Ancient City, it's completely shielded from the street noise, offering a rare sense of tranquility amidst the bustling area. It's incredibly convenient for exploring the ancient city on foot. We booked a mountain-view room with an exclusive terrace, and sitting there in the evening, enjoying the breeze, the view was so relaxing and truly set the perfect mood. The room was spotlessly clean, the bedding was neat and fresh, and the smart bathroom amenities were convenient and easy to use; all the hardware was very well-maintained. The owner was kind and thoughtful, and the check-in process was simple and smooth. They weren't intrusive at all, but were always quick to respond if we had any questions. Overall, the guesthouse has a strong ancient charm, quiet and healing. After a day of exploring the ancient city, returning to the courtyard was incredibly stress-relieving. The stay far exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway in the ancient city.

GGuest UserLocated in a residential complex, the front desk staff came out to collect our luggage as soon as we parked. We checked in quickly and were taken to our room.
The balcony was a nice touch, but beware of mosquitoes.
The room was quite comfortable, with a sofa.
However, because it's so close to Dianchi Lake, you can hear the sounds from the late-night snack stalls. If you need extra quiet, be careful not to stay near the road.
But it's certainly close to Dianchi Lake.
As for breakfast, it was beautiful, and it was a lovely experience to eat in the garden.
Also, takeout is convenient and the food is delicious.

Her ”insider” advice on avoiding tourist traps and finding authentic local dining was invaluable. Every morning, she prepared a simple, nutritious breakfast that was the perfect, healthy start for my parents' day.
The villa has a warm, welcoming vibe that made my parents feel entirely at home and comfortable. If you are traveling with seniors or looking for a stress-free, authentic experience in Lijiang, this is the perfect place!

Location: The taxi positioning is accurate. Behind the official hotel, there is a very quiet homestay area, and takeaways can be delivered.
Environment: clean, warm, emotional, willing to work hard in the details, sincerity is the boss's hospitality, every time I meet, I will greet you warmly ～
Facilities: The twin room has a large space, the bedding is super comfortable, the pillows kill most hotels in seconds, the central air-conditioning ＋ wall-mounted air-conditioning, and the toiletries are dreamed back to college time in one second. Weight scales, sewing boxes, nail clippers, floss, masks, earplugs, etc. are available! There are two washing machines and one dryer in the common area, which can be used by self-service.
Service: Drinking water, soda, snacks, fruit are all provided free of charge. Breakfast is served in the small restaurant with sour seeds and sugar. There are freshly cooked bait silk and rice noodles. The coffee is delicious! Please ask the boss to arrange a car drop-off in advance, and received a warm souvenir on the day of departure.～
Because the itinerary is tight, we basically leave early and return late, and we have not been able to experience the slow life of the homestay, but it does not affect my determination to strongly recommend Fengli!

GGuest UserMy time here was truly life-changing. The hotel was truly exceptional. We arrived from Dali with high expectations and they were certainly met. The rooms were spacious, the location wasn't too crowded so we felt like we had a lot of space to ourselves. But most importantly, our host, Sun, was truly an incredible soul. She was there for us on every moment and we could always send her a wechat message for anything we needed. She ended up really taking care of us in more ways than one. I would definitely recommend this place when you're staying in Lijiang. It's very hard to beat.

GGuest UserI had planned to go to Banna for a few days during the Spring Festival. When I booked a hotel on Ctrip, I found that the room rates had doubled. The 7 Days Inn chain, which usually costs only over 100 yuan, also soared to over 1,000 yuan a night (the people of Banna want to make back the money they didn't make in three years in 7 days). What I hate most is these places that rip off customers like crazy during holidays. So I decided to change my plan and go to Luang Prabang, Laos. Since it is not possible to buy D87 transit train tickets during the Spring Festival, you can only buy tickets in sections, first Kunming-Mohan, then cross the border in Mohan to Boten, Laos, and then Boten-Luang Prabang. I took the train to Mohan on February 13th and booked this homestay on Ctrip. It has a high score of 4.8 on Ctrip, so it must be good. I contacted the hotel before arriving in Mohan, and the hotel guy said that he would pick me up at the train station and send me to the border the next day. Sure enough, as soon as I got out of the station, the young man was waiting on the road in front of the train station. After checking in, I was amazed by the intelligence of the hotel, including smart curtains, smart toilets, and showers with digital temperature display. The room was spacious and tidy, and the bedding was clean and fresh. Although I have stayed in many B&Bs, this one is definitely the ceiling among B&Bs. Moreover, the guy is very handsome, and I’m worried that the girl will continue to stay! The only regret is that the hotel does not have breakfast, it would be perfect if there was breakfast.

After check-in, the housekeeper will greet you at the door in advance and help you take your luggage upstairs. When you check out, you will also be escorted out. It is very convenient to order takeout and deliver it to the room. The entrance is about ten minutes walk from the ancient city. It is also very convenient to take a taxi to the hotel entrance. The hotel is in a villa area on the edge of the ancient city. The community environment is very good. It is very quiet at night and is suitable for people who have trouble sleeping. The breakfast aunt made it Bonus points for the rice noodles and fried chicken. The boss enthusiastically recommends tourist routes!

GGuest UserI have only good things to say about my stay here at Liaofan Lakeview Inn. The host is so helpful and provided recommendations on where to eat and travel on my itinerary. He also provided guides and tips on how to travel around the Erhai Lake. The view from our accommodations was also facing the Erhai Lake directly, as per the photo guides while booking. 10 out of 10 will recommend to anybody looking to stay around East side of Erhai Lake.
