Wat je betaalt, krijg je. De prijs is laag en de locatie is goed. Dus voor die prijs zou ik niet al te veel klagen en meer voorzieningen vragen. Het personeel was vriendelijk en ze kunnen ook een dagtocht regelen naar de Ani-ruïne en het Cildir-meer (dit is een lokale groepsreis, dus alles is in het Turks. Zie het als een soort vervoersregeling). Als je thee wilt drinken, kun je dat bij de receptie regelen. Er is geen lift. De hoogste verdieping is de vierde verdieping.

Nice cosy place and friendly staffmembers

Отель в целом неплохой. Но комната для двоих взрослых очень тесная. Фактически это одноместный номер, в который поставили вторую дополнительную раскладушку, как в больнице. Т.е. персонал отеля считает, что взрослый человек в отпуске, оплатив хороший номер, вполне может обойтись дополнительным местом возле двери в ванную, в которую, кстати, пройти невозможно из-за той же кровати. Неприятная ситуация с отвратительным обслуживанием на завтраке. Приходится почти целый час ждать неполноценного завтрака, чая. Было очень неприятно наблюдать как на вас пытаются экономить.

Everything here was wonderful -- the room was remarkably warm for the weather (about 0-3 degrees celsius when I was there), but the warmest of all was the lovely sister Deniz, who gave me a welcome that would thaw a winter. I arrived close to 10pm, and she gave me a generous hug, along with bread and jam and cheese. My room was spacious, the bathroom almost absurdly large, and the bed so comfortable... I slept so well every evening. Sister Deniz also set out a wonderful breakfast spread, with the enthusiastic company of the dogs she has rescued. She is doing many wonderful things for both people and animals in her community, and her home is so lovely -- please stay here if you go to Kars! You don't even have to plan anything -- Deniz helped me arrange everything with a driver to see the Ani ruins and Lake Çıldır for a very reasonable price. Don't contact other guides! I wish I'd taken photos of the house, but please see the photos of things that are nearby -- Kars Castle and cafes are all within 10 minutes' walking distance, and the airport can be reached within 15-20 minutes by car. I loved every moment of my time here, and recommend this to anyone interested in going to Kars!

Not a bad place for this place. Arpada is a Turkish outback, but I don’t put any negativity into this definition. And finding decent, well-equipped apartments in this place is lucky. The only negative was that there was practically no hot water, we arrived in the evening - there was none, we left in the morning - there was none either. I hope this is not the norm. For the rest, I recommend it.
