Отличное место! Удобное расположение, есть кухня, на первом этаже электрочайник и питьевая вода. В номере полотенце, мыло, тапочки, в душе горячая вода. Но самое главное - персонал! Просто замечательные ребята! Всегда помогали и делом, и советом. Отель расположен на улице Мандала, так что достаточно тихо. Я ещё буду возвращаться в Катманду, и я уже знаю, где остановлюсь. Спасибо, ребята! Вы супер!

Sara's Backpackers Hotel ist echt ganz okay. Die Lage ist Praktisch, man kommt SCHNELL zu wichtigen orten wie dem Pashupatinath Tempel oder dem Garden of Dreams. Die Zimmer sind Sauber, aber etwas einfach eingerichtet. WLAN GIBT'S kostenlos, aber manchmal bisschen langsam.
DAS personal ist super freundlich und hilft bei allem, ob ausflüge oder fragen zur Umgebung. Frühstück ist auch okay, aber nicht Mega besonders – halt landestypisch. Rooftop Terrasse ist echt ein Highlight, Schöne Aussicht zum entspannen.
Gibt Auch fahrräder zum leihen, was cool ist. paar sachen könnten besser sein, z.b. die betten sind etwas hart und duschen könnten moderner sein. insgesamt aber gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.
Würde wiederkommen, wenn ich in der Gegend bin! ⭐⭐⭐⭐

De lakens zijn gescheurd, maar het ontbijt is erg lekker, en al het andere is goed, maar de prijs is goedkoop. Ik denk dat als je de lakens niet erg vindt, ik je aanbeveel om te boeken.

Very clean comfy room, and well located within the Thamel area.
As for the service, 5 for the hostel staff Rupak, who was extremely helpful and responsible (with all measures making sure I was the owner of my luggage before returning it to me when I lost the luggage tag); that said, I’m not fond of the person-in-charge at the travel agency under the same company, who turned rude upon knowing I’m not gonna use his service on the last day.

De receptioniste was ongelooflijk aardig!
Het stopcontact naast het bed was echter kapot en ze zeiden dat ze het zouden repareren, maar het is nooit gebeurd.
Ik had er geen last van, dus ik heb het zo gelaten.
Het bed was niet opgemaakt, maar ze boden water en handdoeken aan en reageerden snel als ik erom vroeg.
Je mag bijna geen voorzieningen verwachten. (Ze boden wel lokale shampoo en zeep aan.)
Het hotel ligt in de wijk Thamel, dus een taxi nemen vanaf het vliegveld was een beetje lastig, omdat ik via een lastige weg moest rijden. Op de terugweg leek het alsof ik een taxi moest zoeken.
Ik vroeg de receptioniste om met me te praten via In Drive, en ze brachten me naar een iets grotere weg naast het hotel.
De receptioniste was ook in dat opzicht erg behulpzaam.

ideal location away from the noise but still walkable distance from the downtown area. clean rooms, spacious bathrooms, and modern building design. Management/ owners are very friendly who gave me room upgrade and show extensive local knowledge and hospitality experience.

Pretty nice place. The rooms are comfortable, with a small balcony and quite big.
The breakfast was simple but good.
The Rooftop offers great views above the city and some relaxing chairs.
It can be a bit loud during the night because there is a nightclub right next to the place

De kamer was schoon en netjes, en het toilet was brandschoon. Ik heb een geweldige tijd gehad; het was mijn beste verblijf in Kathmandu. Ik verbleef er zes nachten achter elkaar. De eigenaar was erg aardig. Mijn Engels is niet zo goed, maar hij was erg geduldig met me.

AAnonymous UserLocation is alright, there’s occasional cockroaches running past you when you are in the room, cleanliness has a lot to improve on. Worst part is that I booked a single room and was given a room next to the elevator with a window without curtain, anyone tall enough would be able to look into my room and everything in it, to add on to that, the room was next to the elevator and you can hear every footstep and noise/chat coming from the corridor, and when the elevator moves, there’s this super unnecessary music that runs with it so you would get a sense of that throughout the day and night. When I went to the receptionist to ask for a different room, she told me there’s no other rooms available and I have to pay an extra 1500 rupee to upgrade to a different room, that amount, adding with the original I paid for- would already be much higher than a standard deluxe room. Obviously she and the hotel was trying to scam me by leveraging on giving a super lousy room at first. Even though they eventually agreed to change room for me at no charge, I was honestly traumatised by this hotel and was uncomfortable through the stay. Then at check-out in the next morning, the guy was reluctant to let me go asking if I had already paid and making calls to confirm about it. Overall there’s surely better rooms for similar price in Thamel, so do try to skip this hotel unless you like some good memorable reasons to spoil your trip.

It's in the Thamel area, but it's down an alley so it's quiet and comfortable. There's a restaurant right next door, so I ate both breakfast and dinner there! There were no towels provided, and each floor had separate toilets and showers for men and women. That was a bit of a concern for me. However, the bed was comfortable.

KKekoraI stayed here near the airport in preparation for my flight the next morning. When I asked the staff about the breakfast time, I got different answers depending on who I asked. When I went to the breakfast venue in the morning, it wasn't ready yet, so I had them call my room when it was ready.
The showers are quite local and don't come with a conditioner, so if you want to use them, it's better to bring your own.
It was helpful to be able to pick up and drop off from the hotel to the airport.

GGuest UserThe location is fantastic, right in the潭美區 (Tanmei District), making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. The facilities are decent, especially the bedding, which was very clean. The bedside charging port and individual lighting were great, and both the pillows and duvet were comfortable. The service at the front desk on the second floor was very friendly; they even proactively offered travel information. While they did introduce some short-term tour packages, they weren't pushy at all. The only real inconvenience was not being allowed to do laundry on-site.

BBernard VoonThe resort provides pickup service from the bus stop. Upon bus arrival, the driver was already on standby to bring us to the hotel.
The room that we got was clean and spacious. Beds were comfortable as well. Shower water was not strong but still useable. Having said that, the tv in the room wasn't working and should be fixed. The bidet water was also very weak and was leaking if we don't shut it from the source.
The resort also has many options of safari tours. The chose the river canoe ride + bird watching + elephant breeding center as well as the jeep ride in safari. Mr Jagat who guided our jeep tour was the best guide one could ask for. He was patient to show us the animal and very knowledgeable.
Lastly i would like to commend on every staff at the resort. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Despite there are some areas of improvements, i would recommend this resort for their excellent service.
Additionally do go for their cultural dance show. It's worth it. Have fun and experience their culture. I love Chitwan and would recommend people to visit.

RRose’s travellingAwesome! Very very satisfied with our stay at Pomelo. There’s location is great, we are just a few minutes walk from Thamel, 20 minutes walk from Sayambhu, 10 minutes taxi from Balaju… Now the service, it was the best part in the inn, the staff is really very friendly and accommodating, thank you Gyanu and Kamal who helped us for everything during our stay. We booked two rooms as a family, but we got one big family room with separated rooms, the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was big and proper to use. The breakfast is the best one we had in Kathmandu, fresh and simple. There is a rooftop, from where we took a bowl of air in the evenings and mornings, really nice.
