Me and my cousin had a pleasant stay here. The receptionist is very friendly and kind, she recommended us the famous local food (hainan chicken rice) and addressed any of our questions. Though the hotel and room interior is a bit old, but it’s clean & the bathroom is spacious, i think they just renovated it. The hotel is strategic and walking distance to Gerbang Malam.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is also very convenient. Highly recommended!
we were greet with smile although it was 10pm. the hotel is very clean and have a spacious family room. the location is very convenient if you want to stay near to lost world tambun. plenty of parking space and nearby eateries. we will come back again
Always our go to option. Cheap with simple and good enough amenities for short stay. The layout option with 2 big beds with a sliding door works well for my parents and I giving enough privacy within the room.
The hotel is just 10-15 mins drive to city and very nice dry curry noodle 😀
Okay hotel, located far away from town but just in front of a big shopping mall where you can find everything and anything. There is also a bus stop nearby where you can take a bus to town.
The room was too small though and the price difference with the double one is small so if you can better book the double one. This one is okay for one or two nights if you don't mind small enclosures.
Facilities are okay for the price.
First stay at this new hotel in Ipoh and we are pleasantly surprised by the comfort. Location is walking distance to downtown for lots of great food and souvenir shopping. The bed in the room is great for a goodnight sleep. For hotel of this class we didn’t expect much amenities but surprised that most things are provided for comfort of guest. Even bathrobe!
The areas for improvement are:
1. Water leakage from the shower made the toilet floor constantly wet. Design default that I hope can be rectified.
2. Checkout reception was so strict with sop. Late check out. No. Umbrella. No. Everything is a no, don’t think they are properly trained in hospitality management. Management order over guest satisfaction is how they operate. No help with luggage with the guard standing to look on. Not very nice welcome.
3. Housekeeping didn’t clean the room. Had to call at 4pm for cleaning to be done. Reception accused us for putting on the no disturb sign. No apology just mere mention that they will contact housekeeping when we insisted that we switched “please clean room” sign since morning. We met the cleaner who was much nicer than the reception staff.
For a no frill stay, this hotel is nice and quiet but some may not like the fact that it’s beside funeral parlour.
Nice place for a short stay at ipoh! The room was comfortable with aircond and a water heater, which made it convenient. Location is great too ,just a short walk to Mydin, terminal bus amanjaya and lots of food options around. Really handy for a quick trip.

GGuest UserWhilst lift, toilet and passageway are clean, improvement can be done for reception area as plastic chairs outside reception area are wither broken or dirty. Cups provided in rooms are haphazardly place without a tray or hygienically wrapped or covered so much so you would not dare to drink from it.

The room was clean, the room service was prompt, and the reception team was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Great choice if you’re looking for a hassle-free, ”basics done right” experience.

It really made my trip smoother, especially since I already knew what to expect from my previous visit.
