This was my first time booking a hotel in Chongqing on my own. I wanted to be near Hongyadong with river views and easy access, so I found Beichen Riverview Hotel. The price was reasonable, and I didn't have high expectations, but the room completely exceeded them! I missed the closest parking lot, so I called the front desk. The lady there told me the Cangbai Road parking lot was cheaper and even came to meet me there personally. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was high quality, and I got upgraded to a riverview king room – facing the big river felt amazing. The service attitude was excellent. It was a wonderful stay. I'll definitely recommend it to friends.

Top-notch view! ✨ Just checked out and I have to rave about this amazing guesthouse! The location is incredible, only a five-minute walk to the beach. Evening strolls watching the sunset were so therapeutic. The room was clean and cozy, and the smart home features were super convenient to use. The floor-to-ceiling windows framed the entire sea view perfectly, and waking up to the sun in the morning was pure bliss~ The owner even thoughtfully prepared local snacks and a travel guide. The value for money is absolutely fantastic, I'll definitely stay here again next time! 👍

It’s the best hostel I’ve been in so far. The owners are really friendly and provide you with some fresh homemade bread. The rooms and the amenities are clean and there are two sit down toilets. It’s close to the city centre, the night market and the metro. They also provide some helpful recommendations for restaurants and activities. Another big bonus is the rooftop terrace and the little balcony in the second floor. It’s a very social hostel and there is always something to do. I would really recommend this place!

I made a last-minute decision to spend National Day in Chongqing and stumbled upon this hotel. 1. The transportation is incredibly convenient; it's right next to Xiaoshizi subway station. Definitely do *not* take a taxi, do *not* take a taxi 😂. 2. It's more of a guesthouse. The building houses various hotels, guesthouses, and even Hanfu stores, so there's a diverse mix of people, and the hallway environment is a bit old. 3. Service: The staff (a young lady) was very patient. She immediately sent me information on attractions, transportation, and food recommendations to my phone, which saved me a lot of hassle. The hotel front desk isn't 24/7, but she was available 24/7 on WeChat and responded quickly, so no worries there. You need to inform the front desk if you need your room cleaned. 4. Food: There are many options nearby, so no need to worry. 5. Considering it was during the National Day period, the family room offered good value for money. 6. The room facilities are quite comprehensive: projector, refrigerator, washing machine (microwave is at the front desk). In summary: It's good and worth staying. It probably deserves a 4.8 rating.

I highly recommend staying at this hotel! It is right at the very center of downtown Chongqing. Any place you might want to visit is a short walk away or a short walk to the metro station! The hotel is clean and the room is supercool with a view of all the city skyscrapers. The hotel staff is super friendly and accomodating, we enjoyed seeing them every morning and evening! As for Chongqing, if you're traveling through China and you've already had your share of 'old towns' in other cities, as charming and pretty as they may be, they are always super busy and kind of end up looking the same. This is why I highly recommend switching Ciqikou in your planning to doing the 'Chonqging mountain city walkway' starting at dashiangba water system (so you can walk downhill) and getting lost in the narrow alleys with stairs and shops, this will give you a REAL ancient city vibe, full of young people and small shops. I also highly recommend going to longmenhou old street and Xiaohao lane. These were the absolute highlights of our stay in Chongqing! Right across the hotel is the Chongqing tea theatre with lots of food options. If you take the escalator upstairs and look to your left, there is a buffet restaurant with sooo much good food, we had breakfast there twice (you pay based on how heavy your platter is) and we really enjoyed it, very cheap for good amounts of meat and vegetables!

This place is unbeatable! The room is super close to Jiaochangkou Metro Station, making transportation incredibly convenient. The building is less than 100 meters in a straight line from the subway exit. There's more than one entrance to the building, so it's more convenient to communicate in advance after booking. The lady at reception helped us upgrade to a river-view room, and the view was absolutely beautiful! 🌹 The room was spacious enough, very close to many must-visit attractions, and the facilities were comprehensive, making it a great experience for a family trip. There are multiple food streets right outside, so dining is super convenient. It's also very close to Jiefangbei, Shibatidang, and Shanched Budao, all within easy walking distance. The service experience was just as good; disposable amenities in the room were replenished very promptly. Luggage storage after check-out was seamless. It's a great choice I'd recommend to friends.

The room was incredibly clean and even had a large fridge, perfect for chilling watermelon! Highly recommended!!! Everyone should consider staying here. Booked this hotel for the loft room type which has only 1 unit. Note that there are only 14 rooms across 2 floors located in a commercial building. Seems like it is very common in cq to have such hotels which are occupying floors in a building. The room has a great view of Jiefangbei and you can see the monument from the room. Pls note that the location of the room is just next to the entrance which i didn't like (personal preference) but it didn't affect me in terms of noise. Smart system, tv projector The room is using a smart system which you can control through voice. However this proved to be a problem for me instead as everytime I returned and put in the key card, the same settings operate e.g. music automatically plays and the announcement starts and I have to ask it to stop playing the music. The lighting is also preset with hindered the brightness of the projector. Note that there is no tv, only a projector with iqiyi inbuilt so there are no tv channels and most of the shows require a subscription to play. I wasn't able to adjust the lights according to what I want. So if I wanted a very clear resolution, I had to turn off all lights. Bathroom The toilet seat was automatic with bidet. As it is automated, you have to press a button to open the seat cover everytime you want to use. If you use the disposable seat cover, it cannot detect you and halfway using the toilet, the seat keeps coming down to close as it closes automatically. The position of the handheld shower is also very low. I'm 1.68m tall which was the perfect height but anyone taller will hit the shower. One very important point to note is also that the hotel only uses disposable towels to my dismay. They do not have regular towels. If I had known I wouldn't have booked this hotel. I'm not sure if this is a common thing in cq. There are also no hooks in the bathroom and the sink is outside the bathroom. During my stay it rained a bit so the area just beside the bed had a pool of water which likely came from a leak in the building. For this room, the electronic curtains were also unable to cover the room totally due to the stairs going up to the bed. Aircon Due to the size of the room, I felt that the ac wasn't strong enough to cool the room totally. In conclusion, the hotel has a great location and good service but if I had known the above, I would hv chosen another regular hotel with tv, regular towels etc. I wanted to check out after 1 night but didn't as it was just simply too troublesome and my booking was non refundable.

Stayed here with a few friends while visiting Chongqing and we had a really lovely stay. The location was great for us — really handy for Hongyadong and Jiefangbei, with plenty of places to eat and explore nearby. The best part was definitely the river view from the room. The lights across the rivers at night were amazing, and it was lovely just sitting by the window chatting and taking it all in after a day out. The room was spacious enough for us to relax without feeling cramped, and everything was clean and comfortable. The staff were also really friendly and helpful. They kindly kept our luggage for us after check-out, which made it much easier to spend the rest of the day exploring. A great place to stay if you're visiting Chongqing with friends. We'd happily stay here again next time we're in the city.

The surrounding area is vibrant yet safe, offering stunning city views, especially at night when the skyline lights up beautifully. Whether you are visiting for leisure, family vacation, or business purposes, the location provides excellent accessibility. The room exceeded my expectations in every aspect. It was spacious, modern, and thoughtfully designed with comfort in mind. The bed was extremely comfortable, with high-quality linens and pillows that ensured a restful sleep every night. Cleanliness was impeccable — every corner of the room, including the bathroom, was spotless and well maintained. The housekeeping team did a remarkable job of keeping the room fresh, tidy, and well stocked with amenities throughout my stay. One of the highlights was the breathtaking view from the room. The large windows allowed natural light to fill the space during the day, while at night, the panoramic city view created a relaxing and luxurious atmosphere. Safety and security at the hotel were also excellent. The hotel maintained strong security measures, and I felt completely safe throughout my stay. This is especially important for travelers visiting the city for the first time. Overall, this hotel delivers outstanding service, excellent facilities, and superb comfort.
