Unfortunately the fridge didn't work, nor did the TV. The a/c was very noisy and we could hear all the street noise. The staff were very accommodating in trying to rectify the issues. Thankyou to them.

About an hour by the city bus to the hostel from the airport. Easy to walk to the beach. There are plenty of restaurants and stores nearby.

De dierentuin is op 15 minuten lopen en het internetberoemde Japanse rijstballenrestaurant ligt op 5 minuten lopen. Het hotel is inclusief ontbijt, dat gratis is, maar ook fruit, yoghurt, koffie en sap, wat veel geld bespaart. Er zijn elke ochtend activiteiten, waaronder een huladansles. De leraar was erg vriendelijk en ik heb me prima vermaakt. Hoewel de faciliteiten iets minder zijn dan die van een driesterrenhotel, maken de prijs en de service dat goed.

It is a capsule hotel, so it is less private than a regular hotel, but more so than a hostel. You have a partition, so other guests can't easily see you when sleeping. Now, this is on the 14th floor, and the view is pretty good from the lounge. It's pretty easy to book, and has a decent bed, charger and tv. I didn't see AC controls in the pod, but it cooled down at night. Also, bring earmuffs and sleeping aides if you are easily bothered by other people making loud noises when you sleep.

Het hotel ligt in het centrum van de stad, dus het is erg handig om de omgeving te verkennen. Er zijn veel mensen in de buurt, dus je hoeft je geen zorgen te maken over de veiligheid. De kamers worden dagelijks schoongemaakt, dus je kunt in een schone omgeving verblijven. Voorzieningen zoals tandenborstels en slippers worden niet verstrekt, dus het is handiger als je die zelf meeneemt!

De inchecktijd was 15.00 uur, maar mijn vlucht arriveerde halverwege de ochtend en het hotel liet me gelukkig direct inchecken bij aankomst rond 11.00 uur. De kamer was erg comfortabel, maar er was geen douchemuts of andere toiletartikelen aanwezig. De locatie is iets buiten het centrum, op 5 blokken lopen, wat vermoeiend was. Het personeel was echter aardig, behalve de medewerker van de reisbalie, die erg onbeleefd was, op een sinaasappel kauwde terwijl hij met je praatte en niet behulpzaam was.

Booking in at reception was a friendly and very easy experience. The room was good but had more of a close up view of bushes than a City View. The food I had was good, however the bar was often very busy with just one person making the food and serving drinks. I tried to get served a few times but had to leave and returned a bit later for service. The location was very good for bus services and convenient for walking to local Waikiki beaches and along Kalakaua Ave.

Great find. Hotel was clean, comfortable and in a great location. Easy and safe walk to restaurants and main drag. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great beds.

This hotel is a very good place to stay if you’re not driving. You may or may not have a parking spot on their lot. Both nights we were there, we had to park on another lot. It wasn’t too far but when you walk with a cane due to bad knees, that’s not good. Our rented car was a Tesla. One of the reasons I booked there is because trip.com listed ev charger on the hotel amenities list. They DO NOT have an ev charger at this hotel. We had to go to another hotel to charge our car. We had a stressful first night worrying about where to find a fast charging station. Other than that, I do recommend this hotel. Staff was professional and helpful. Room was very nice and very clean.
