3-Starhotels in Nara Prefecture, Japan

Good: Good cost performance, Good staff, great variety of food, convenient location - next to train station and convenience stores, signs are in english and Japanese. Staff have limited english skills which is ready good for simple requests I think. Bad: room seems to have no air conditioning (cool cold air) - the ”air condition” dail only has fan speed not temperature and it blows warm air. The window gives cold air but can be noisy, especially at day time with construction work going on nearby unless window is left very slightly ajar. Overall it's fine but not sure how good it is in the summer without air-conditioning.

We had a good time at this place. Everything was very clean, the check-in was very easy and despite the thin walls (occasionally you could hear other guests use their door lock or the hotels neighbors coming home to their house) we had a good nights sleep. Would come again. Very spacious rooms compared to other Japanese hotel rooms. Bonus: there was a super clean and almost unused community kitchen with washingmachines and dryers.

The hotel is literally next to the JR Nara Station.You can purchase all of your travel tickets there and the airport bus tickets, too. In that area, there is a grocery store, a Walgreens type store, and nice affordable places to eat. I highly recommend the place on the corner(pic #1-2). The two guys that run it are so nice. There is a long shopping/restaurant street kinda across from the tourist center. I don't recommend this one ramen place located there. They make everyone pay before eating, and for the basic ramen that I got, it was overpriced. My bowl wasn't even full!(pic# 3-7) The tourist center is located close by, and the folks in there are very helpful(pic# 8). All of the buses are right there, so touring is very easy. The hotel itself is very comfortable. It's keyless, so take a picture of your pass code. The onsen on the premises has a pass code as well. Inside was very nice and relaxing. I went at 2:20am and it was wonderful. They have pajamas, pillows, and a free happy hour. The variety of spirits is extensive. Also, the elevator smells so good! The scent will de stress you. You can try a lot of things with a nice view of the station. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. The last two pictures are the view of the bus terminal. Het ontbijt kost 500 yen per portie, en een tandenborstel kost 50 yen tegen een extra vergoeding. Er is een bushalte op de kruising aan de linkerkant als u de B & B verlaat. Het is erg handig om een ​​of twee haltes naar Nara Park te nemen voor 220 yen. Het duurt ongeveer 25 minuten lopen, maar het was te warm, dus ik heb ervoor gekozen om een ​​auto te nemen. De B&B verhuurt fietsen voor 500 yen per dag (het maakt niet uit hoe laat je ze leent, je brengt ze die avond terug, niet 24 uur per dag) en 100 yen per uur, maar de weg naar Nara Park Road is een beetje bergopwaarts. Ik kon er niet op rijden, dus heb ik hem niet geleend. De zon was te heet. Het is moeilijk om te fietsen, maar je kunt er een lenen als het winter is. Deze B&B zit vol met buitenlanders, ik ben er 2 nachten gebleven en ben geen enkele Chinees tegengekomen.

Fantastic hotel for anyone who drive. Free Car park with lots of spaces. The facility is very clean, spacious room, both indoor and outdoor hot spring. Really there is nothing to complain in this hotel. It is located in a fairly decent neighborhoods and able to provide this standard of hot spring is phenomenal. One of the best stay we had in this journey. Highly Recommended.

Nice out of town location on a side of a hill. Very spacious rooms and everything looks new. The breakfast is decent.

We love Fairfield by Marriott in Japan! The room is a good size. Very new, clean, and comfortable. When we go to Japan we try to stay at Fairfield at different locations as it’s very cheap compared to other hotels. Soft comfy bed and even the pillows are down feathers which are even more comfy than in some of the 5 star hotels we stayed at! Staff are very friendly too.
