The best 4 days ever! Highly recommend this hotel! We were a group of 8 people and had an unforgettable stay here. The hotel owner is one of the kindest and most helpful people we’ve ever met. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us warmly, gave us great local recommendations, and even personally drove us to each destination! On the day we went hiking in the mountains, he provided us with free walking sticks. He helped us with everything — arranging transfers, buying entrance tickets, and planning the route. He also allowed us to check in early and check out late, which was incredibly convenient. I shared room 8303 with my friend. The room is designed for two people and had two separate beds, both very comfortable to sleep in. There was also an air conditioner in the room, which made our stay even more pleasant. Another thing we’re super grateful for — the owner kindly let us do laundry. After hiking in the mountains, our clothes definitely needed it! The view from the window was absolutely stunning. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, full of natural light, and have plenty of power outlets. The showers were great, with clean water and convenient showerheads. There were all the necessary toiletries: body soap, shampoo — we recommend bringing your own conditioner if needed. The hotel can also prepare food for guests. We really enjoyed the tomato and egg noodles — delicious and homey. There’s also a local café nearby where we had breakfast a few times. The hotel is located in the mountains, perfectly positioned for visiting nearby attractions, waterfalls, hiking spots, and even riding quad bikes. A tip: bring a good quality raincoat if you’re visiting during rainy weather! The owner speaks basic English, and even though it wasn’t easy for him, he patiently explained everything to us in English with so much kindness and care. He truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable — even helped us search for a lost phone in the mountains! He also called us in advance before our arrival to confirm our plans and helped arrange a transfer to the train station after check-out. I was attracted by the pictures, but I was a little disappointed by this homestay in the ancient town. After all, you can stay in a very good hotel in Wuhu at this price. Let's talk about the general environment of the ancient town first. It is said that tickets are charged on holidays. Few shops are open at night, and there are few people in the morning. It is said that there are performances, but there is nothing suitable for children after looking at the program list. Many shops are closed, and the streets with closed doors can also show that they were once prosperous. It should be good. Let's talk about the hotel. The room area is OK and the environment is generally good, but my child is afraid of the slide and thinks it is too steep. I tried it myself and it was true, so I lost one of the fun of booking this room. The breakfast is really incomparable to star hotels. It is matched by the owner himself. I saw the reviews before that the small animals that can be fed were only empty cages. There was a cat. The baby could only play with the cat for a while. On the way to the room, I had to pass the cat house. The smell almost made me faint. There are also advantages. In terms of service, the boss contacted in advance. When I arrived, the boss went to the door to pick up the tickets in person. There were several times in the middle when the remote control and bed sheets were replaced. The boss solved it quickly. The owner of the B&B is indeed very responsive to the guests' service and has a very good attitude. The air conditioning in the room is very powerful, the terrace is quite comfortable, and it feels good to sit on the terrace as the sun sets. Overall, I gave it a score of four, and I hope it can be better. Or the price can be more affordable.

The environment and facilities are great, I really like it. The location is very convenient, right next to Lei Street. I will choose this restaurant again next time I come to Hefei. It's also very close to the South Railway Station. The breakfast is also good! Very plentiful and healthy!

I chose E-Long Anyue Hotel for our trip to Mount Huangshan with the kids this time. Its location is a huge plus, right next to the scenic area's transfer center. The hotel even offers free shuttle service up the mountain, so we didn't have to rush on the second day of our trip, which made traveling with children much easier. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, proactively explaining hiking routes and helping us store our luggage. Their efficiency was impressive. The room was quite new, and the smart home devices were convenient to use. Housekeeping was thorough, and the mattress was just right – not too soft, not too firm – ensuring we got a great night's sleep after hiking. Downstairs, there are plenty of restaurants and a supermarket, making it very convenient to stock up on snacks and supplies for our climb.

The hotel was excellent! The front desk staff upgraded my room for free, and the room was spacious and very clean. I had a very comfortable stay. In the morning, they offer a free shuttle to the South Gate of Huangshan, and they can also help arrange a car to Huangshan North. The service attitude was fantastic, highly recommended!

This guesthouse is located right inside the scenic area, making it super convenient for resting after an evening stroll. The decor is charmingly traditional, perfectly complementing the Huizhou architectural style. The guesthouse itself feels like an integral part of the scenic area, featuring a garden restaurant and a coffee bar where you can even pet cats. The owner is fantastic, offering luggage pickup and drop-off services right from the bus station. It's a highly recommended place to stay.

We were met at the entrance to help us with the luggage and to show us to the hotel and also helped with the luggage when we left. The place is quiet and peaceful and the lady boss is so helpful and genuinely warm hearted. Really glad we found this place.

Since it was off-peak season, we got a free upgrade to a really beautiful room. The guesthouse is an old house with a lot of character, but naturally, older houses might have some minor cleanliness issues. The location is excellent, right in the old town, so it was super convenient to pop back to the room for a rest when we were tired from exploring. The young man (at reception) didn't talk much, but he was responsible. The breakfast was truly unforgettable; the noodles the auntie made were absolutely delicious, just like a home-cooked meal. She was so warm and prepared so much food that we couldn't possibly finish it all, constantly encouraging us to pack up the leftovers. Since we were heading up the mountain afterward and couldn't carry much, we just tried to eat as much as we could.

This guesthouse, only open for half a year, is about a 5-minute drive from the Huangshan South Gate Scenic Area transfer station. It has a modern, minimalist style, is clean and tidy, and offers views of several Huangshan peaks from the rooms. The bedding and amenities are quite upscale, giving it a homey feel. The owner used to be a tour guide and provides excellent advice on routes and注意事项 for first-time climbers of Huangshan, as well as shuttle service to the scenic area – truly helpful! While the breakfast spread isn't as extensive as a star-rated hotel, it's quite good for less picky guests, featuring a nine-grid bento box with various side dishes and staples. It's clear the owners run their business with dedication. One suggestion for improvement: the shower drain in the 'Lanyue' room had a bit of an odor. Hope this can be addressed. Overall, I'm very satisfied and genuinely recommend this guesthouse.

Hidden gem // Cosy homestay with lovely and caring hosts - 10/10 recommend! We loved our stay at Villa Emerald Valley especially due to: + Lovely hosts: super friendly, multi generational, from the neighborhood and always keen to fulfill all our wishes even before we knew them + Bright, modern, clean and cosy rooms: Big windows, clean and modern bathroom facilities (great hot shower that is truly needed after a day in the mountain), really comfy beds, water boiler, etc. + Nice common area: game room, restaurant, tea table, small pool + Tasty food: breakfast, lunch and dinner freshly prepared, many options (also vegetarian), fresh fruits and tea, decent prices -＞ we loved their tomato&egg, bamboo, qingcai and tofu dishes + Smooth communication and great service: quick responses via WeChat, airport pick up (200¥ one way), support with ticket booking for huangshan, carrying luggage, extra fruits, etc. + Emerging into the community: as it was tea harvest time, the hosts took us to the tea mountain close by where we could help picking tea leaves + Location: huangshan is overall really touristy with a lot of group tourism and thus overall probably not the nicest place to stay for a longer time. However, the home stay, while being close to all main tourist attractions, lies very calm and right beside the mountains where locals live and work, so it does not feel touristy at all and you could easily spend several days there to explore and relax Also , the hosts can speak some English, so communication for foreigners is not a problem.
