Hotels met spa in Sousse, Tunisia

The Sousse Pearl Marriott Resort & Spa, located on the beachfront in Sousse, Tunisia, offers a distinctive proposition for the business traveler: a five-star resort environment that is fully equipped to handle major conferences and provide luxurious productivity. While its resort nature means slower pace than a city center business hotel, its comprehensive facilities make it ideal for specific corporate needs. Location and Accessibility (3.5/5) Located directly on the Corniche (Boulevard Abdelhamid El Kadhi), the hotel sits in a prime location that balances commercial access with scenic beachfront appeal. Pro: Excellent location in Sousse, close to the Medina (approx. 1.5 km) and central business activities in the city. Access to the main local airport, Monastir Habib Bourguiba International (MIR), is quick (approx. 18 km / 15-20 minutes). Con: Sousse is a regional commercial hub, not a primary international financial center. Travelers requiring frequent access to the capital, Tunis, face a significant road journey (140-150 km). Work and Productivity Amenities (4.5/5) The Marriott is purpose-built to host significant corporate events, offering amenities far beyond a simple workspace. Meeting Facilities: Unlike typical resort hotels, this property features five dedicated meeting rooms and a large ballroom (over 5,200 sq. ft. total event space), all equipped with modern audio-visual technology and free wireless internet. Wi-Fi & In-Room Comfort: Rooms are newly renovated and spacious, featuring free high-speed Wi-Fi, a safe, minibar, and a comfortable desk setup. Soundproofing ensures tranquility despite the central location. Bonus: A full Business Centre is available, providing essential services like copying, faxing, and photocopying. Dining and Wellness (4/5) The dining options and wellness facilities lean into the luxury resort side, offering excellent venues for client entertainment and relaxation. Dining: Multiple high-quality restaurants are available, including the main international restaurant, The Gourmet, and the Asian-focused a la carte restaurant, Opus. This variety is perfect for hosting high-profile client dinners. Wellness: The extensive Jumana Spa by Sothys, fitness center, and indoor pool provide excellent facilities for decompression after a long day of meetings, a key component of effective business travel. Verdict for the Business Traveler The Sousse Pearl Marriott is a top-tier choice when your business trip requires high-end meeting spaces, large-scale events, or when blending work with necessary relaxation/client entertainment is essential. It delivers on the Marriott promise of professional service and excellent infrastructure. However, for a quick, in-and-out business trip focusing solely on local Sousse trade, it may be slightly excessive compared to other city options. Best for: Corporate events, regional conferences, incentive trips, or business travelers seeking five-star comfort with excellent dining and wellness facilities. Look Elsewhere If: You need a budget-focused hotel or require immediate, high-frequency access to the financial or governmental institutions in Tunis.

We stayed as a group of 14 people across 6 rooms, so we experienced many aspects of this hotel. Unfortunately, while the hotel looks stunning from the outside, the overall experience was disappointing and nowhere near what you would expect from a 5-star property. In terms of service, it felt closer to a 3-star hotel. From the moment we arrived, the experience was underwhelming. We were charged for basic cold water and lemonade on arrival, which are complimentary at many hotels of this standard. Room service was extremely slow. Even simple requests such as sugar or coffee regularly took over an hour to arrive. There was no iron or ironing board in the rooms, and requesting one meant waiting several hours, only to be allowed to use it for 20 minutes before it had to be returned. Breakfast was average with limited variety, particularly for adults. The highlight was the freshly made omelettes, which were excellent. However, the dining experience was let down by tables that were not cleaned promptly and a lack of cutlery. If you needed additional cutlery, you often had to ask a waiter. It also appeared that service was noticeably better for guests who were giving tips, which created an uncomfortable feeling of unequal treatment. The swimming pool itself is beautiful, but even there the experience was frustrating. Many of the best sunbeds seemed to be effectively reserved for guests who tipped the staff. One of our rooms had a blocked toilet, and although it was reported, it should never have been an issue in a hotel claiming to be 5-star. The lighting throughout all the rooms was very dim, making them feel dark and rather claustrophobic after sunset. The bathrooms were outdated and poorly designed, and there was no hair conditioner provided, which is surprising for a hotel with swimming pools where guests frequently need it. The one area that truly stood out was the spa. We enjoyed the hammam followed by a full body massage, and it was easily the best part of our stay. I would especially like to thank Miss Huda, whose professionalism and excellent massage made for a genuinely relaxing experience. Overall, this hotel has the appearance of a luxury resort, but the service, facilities, and attention to detail fall well below the standard expected of a 5-star hotel. There is significant room for improvement before it can justify its rating.

Wonderful from start to finish! I could not recommend this hotel more. For me, it was the hotel team. The hotel community went out of their way to connect with others and genuinely seemed to care. They showed pride in customer service and expressed that they take their five-star reputation seriously. The room standard was amazing. Due to rooms being fully booked over Christmas, I needed to switch hotels for the main Christmas days. I switched to the biggest and supposedly most “ luxury “ hotel in Sousse. Honestly, the switch was not worthwhile. I realized just how exceptional the quality is at the Iberostar Selection Kantaoui Bay. The housekeeping team visited daily providing toiletries, clean bathrobes and nice extras ( such as sweets and chocolates) to the room. Their friendly faces with their cheerful banter were a pleasure to embrace each day. The food quality was great! I do not consume meat or dairy but that didn’t make a difference, there truly is something for everyone. The fresh food selection was incredible and certainly unbeatable to those I had tried elsewhere in Sousse and Tunis. The cooks shared helpful recommendations and I tried a range of fresh local flavours. This hotel was comfortable, with a cheerful friendly team and positioned with an exceptional view of a gorgeous quiet beach. I would happily stay again, and I highly recommend the Iberostar Selection Kantaoui Bay. I would like to extend a huge thank you to the remarkable team.

Was a last-minute trip, and we've got the best deal ever! Really enjoyed my stay. Lovely location, nice beach, amazing staff and animation team. I will go back!

I have stayed at Green Park 3 times. The hotel provides a chilled relaxed atmosphere. It’s not a hotel for partying . Staff are pleasant and couteous . The bar manager Lotvi is attentive and professional is. My waiter at breakfast and dinner, Mahmoud was welcoming and nothing was too much trouble . The dining experience has definitely improved since previously, with more problem solving and visibility from all members of staff . I feel the quality of food could still be improved. When I choose to eat at local grill barbecue cafes, it reflects the poor quality of fish then being served at the hotel. It was lovely to come back for a return visit and feel welcomed . The hotel is spotless and the new Director has encouraged very positive changes. I am very thankful to have enjoyed another beautiful stay and I will continue to return to Green Park .

Had a lovely time, excellent location, close to Hannibal park, marina, sousse mall and directly on the beach. Hotel is looking quite dated inside but everything else was spot on

Nothing to complain about, magnificent

The hotel excels in every respect The food in particular is varied every day and top quality service in the hotel also excels in friendly staff and clean rooms. All in all, a hotel that I can recommend to everyone.

The staff is very cooperative and excellent. The food is varied. A room was booked and we were upgraded to a suite. Thank you to the hotel manager, especially Mr. Tariq.
