Note that standard car size limitations apply (max length 5m, width 2m, height 2.1m). If you choose to use alternative public lots nearby, prices vary; for example, the nearby Trust Park lot charges rates like ¥500 for daytime parking (7:00–18:00) or ¥200 per 60 minutes. Its the closest to the hotel if you dun mind paying extra. Gorgeous hotel on the bay in Beppu with stunning views of the sea and mountains. Hotel is modern and beautiful, influenced by traditional craftsmanship and architecture. Meals are delicious and draw on local delicacies. Service is so-so. Staff seem overwhelmed and distant. Lots of activities planned for guests, but noise doesn’t travel. Hot springs are relaxing, although there are only two baths inside and one, small one outside. Shop is not great. Would recommend the hotel consider selling some of the dish ware or toiletries in the bathroom or other crafts and or local products from Oita, etc.

This hotel is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from JR Oita Station, to the left after exiting. It's also very close to Beppu. The bathroom features a separate wet and dry area, and the bedding is comfortable. The women's public bath has both indoor and outdoor pools. The complimentary ramen and ice cream in the evening are a thoughtful touch, and there's also water and snacks in the fridge.

One of the nice features of this hotel is that you can enjoy the onsen while looking out over the ocean. However, it is not very convenient without a car. I walked all the way from Beppu Station before discovering that the hotel offers a free shuttle bus. I’ve attached the shuttle bus schedule—I’d strongly recommend using it. The room was the biggest disappointment. Although it was advertised as a renovated, high-floor ocean-view room, it still felt very old. The bathroom was especially outdated, and there was a very high step between the bathroom and the room, making it easy to trip. The room really feels like it needs a proper renovation. Overall, the ocean-view onsen was enjoyable, but the rooms did not match my expectations.

Celebrated 520 (May 20th) by booking a more upscale meal that day, and the experience was great ❤️. The location is fantastic! It's a 5-minute walk to Umi Jigoku (Sea Hell), so we went straight there after breakfast when it was less crowded. Regarding service, I have to say: it was the rainy season, and there were many staff members standing at the entrance, but they only bowed. It felt awkward watching adults and children run into the hotel in the rain to check in, and checking out involved carrying our own luggage in the rain too.

Beppu was a great landing spot! It's also really close to Oita. I managed to get the manhole cover cards, but unfortunately, I couldn't go to Yufuin no Mori because the transportation to Yufuin is under renovation. Guess I'll have to come back next time and see if there are any good collectibles to splurge on!

The room was very spacious and the hotel's design was beautiful, especially the private onsen – it was amazing! We drove there and parking was very convenient. It's about a 20-minute drive from Yufuin, so we could explore and then come back to relax before heading out for dinner nearby. It was a very laid-back and enjoyable stay!

The room is fully equipped with amenities, so you can literally just bring yourself. The hot spring bathhouse has two indoor pools and one outdoor pool. Towels and a water dispenser are provided on-site, and there are lockers with electronic locks for your belongings. The massage service is available in-room, and the masseuses are very professional, meticulously asking about areas to focus on or avoid beforehand.

The hotel is conveniently located for travelers traveling without a car, about a 10-minute walk from the JR station and the express bus station, and very close to Yufuin Street. The hotel is very quiet, with each room offering its own private bathroom. The hotel also provides complimentary tea and beer, as well as onsen eggs. The staff were exceptionally friendly. I'd definitely stay at the same hotel again.

Both the Japanese and foreign staff were very polite and friendly. They also provided clear explanations in English. When I encountered an issue, they were quick to assist me. Despite a full house, the restaurant was surprisingly quiet and comfortable. They perfectly accommodated my special advance requests. I would definitely love to visit again.
