Hotels met Spa in Oita Prefecture, Japan

Location of the hotel is great. I came from Hiroshima. The journey is very long. I stayed 3 nights here. Breakfast was kinda okay, they have alot of spread. I paid for 1 x breakfast at 3300 yen. Personally i feel the price can be lower. Afew items to highlights were Tempura prawn, mentaiko, corn soup, soba and grilled beef. They have welcome drink (tea/coffee/soft drinks) for certain hours. Topup 1000 yen you can get unlimited alcohol. The location of the hotel is excellent, close to the station. And also they have 2 properties . Next to each other. There’s 6 laudry machines. A sky pool, sauna and indoor bath (onsen). I can see the hotel emphasis/uses alot of technology . Your door card can be paid for many things (laundry and vending machine) including partner restaurants outside the hotels. Where you can charge the expenses to your room. There’s a touch pad in the room, for you go control lighting, air conditioning , check hotel information and even control the TV. The only downside is the touchpad is very bright. It takes too long for it to go into idle mode. The cast and mirroring was lagging for me. As for the wifi, i find it weird that it only allows in my room. I had not as for the hotel wide wifi, not sure if there’s one. The room wifi was okay. The pool on the roof was great . You can see almost the whole beppu. Sadly I did not take photos of it. It was very chill . I would definitely stay here again just for the pool and onsen. The room clothes hangers were kinda little. There’s only 4 of them. The ice machine is at L2 inbetween the fitness center and the laundry. I would like to suggest to relocate it. As it is located directly next to the smoking room. And both times I am there to collect the ice with the cup provided, I almost out of breath from the cigarette. The Washing machine had locking mechanism on it, so other guests would not take your clothes. Select checkout was brilliant, they have 2 counters for it. I ate a breakfast, did 2 laundry and one vending machine. It was calculated perfectly. The staff at the reception were very helpful . Overall the stay was good! Will stay again if I am in Beppu. We boekten het Sora western kamertype, dat werd beschreven als met twee tweepersoonsbedden en drie futonbedden. Bij aankomst zag ik echter geen futonbedden in de kamer en werden ze ook niet aangeboden. Qua service had ik een betere introductie van de kamers verwacht gezien de prijs die ik betaal. We kregen een zeer eenvoudige introductie van de gemeenschappelijke ruimte, maar kregen geen rondleiding over waar alles zich bevindt, welke Yukata we binnen en buiten moesten dragen, etc. Ik heb een vergelijkbare prijs betaald voor een ander onsenhotel waar we bij aankomst een veel betere ontvangst kregen. We vroegen wel om ontbijt op de kamer voor meer privacy, en hoewel we dat voor de helft van de prijs konden doen bij andere hotels in Fukuoka, leek het personeel het niet te begrijpen toen we ernaar vroegen. Over het algemeen zijn de voorzieningen en de kamer erg goed, maar qua service is het wisselvallig.

사장님과 직원분들이 정말 친절했던 숙소였습니다. 유후인 버스터미널에서 내려서 숙소까지 걸어서 약 18분 정도 걸렸어요. 길 대부분은 평지라 걷기 어렵지는 않았지만 숙소에 가까워질수록 마지막 구간에 비포장도로가 있어서 캐리어를 끌고 갈 때 소리가 조금 크게 나는 편이었습니다. 숙소는 전체적으로 정갈하고 아늑한 분위기였고 내부에 골동품샵과 빈티지 의류를 판매하는 공간이 함께 있어 구경하는 재미도 있었어요. 차를 마실 수 있는 프리 공간과 간단히 식사를 할 수 있는 공용 공간도 마련되어 있어서 여유롭게 머물기 좋았습니다. (웰컴티와 인절미같은 일본 전통 떡을 주셨습니다.) 온천은 한 공간에 2개가 있는데 저녁 시간에는 약 45분씩 프라이빗 온천으로 이용할 수 있고 아침 시간에만 남녀 구분된 공용 온천으로 운영됩니다. 프라이빗 온천을 이용할 수 있어서 더 편하고 좋았어요. 객실은 정말 깨끗하고 정갈했고 일본식 목조건축 특유의 나무 향도 너무 좋았습니다. 사진보다 실제 공간이 더 예쁘게 느껴졌어요. 체크아웃 후 짐은 유후인역 바로 옆 투어리즘 인포메이션 센터에서 맡길 수 있고 짐 개수에 따라 요금이 달라집니다. 캐리어 하나 맡기는 데 약 800엔 정도 들었어요. 숙소에서 킨린 호수까지 도보로 약 10분 정도라 아침 산책하기에 정말 좋습니다. 점심 시간이 가까워지면 관광객이 많이 몰리니 가능하다면 아침 8~9시쯤 방문하는 걸 추천해요. 겨울 아침에는 물안개가 피어 있고 호수로 가는 길에 작은 절과 숲이 있어서 조용하고 신비로운 분위기가 느껴졌습니다. 어딘가 지브리 영화 센과 치히로 초반 터널 장면을 떠올리게 하는 음산하면서도 아름다운 분위기가 인상 깊었어요. 전반적으로 조용하고 따뜻한 분위기의 숙소라 유후인에서 여유롭게 머물고 싶은 분들께 추천하고 싶습니다.

Very convenient location as it is just opposite Beppu station. The staffs are friendly and helpful.

good value for money! would definitely stay again location: it's relatively further from the station , around a 8-10min walk. there is a 7-11 just around the corner room: my room came without a bathroom but for the ladies are 3 cubicles shared among the 7 mix gendered guests on the floor. i did not have to wait in line at all. there was more than enough space in the room to open my suitcase wide and still feel comfortable. bed and pillow was a bit hard though, and you can hear anyone talking loudly downstairs outside the building as the room is on 2nd floor, tho that doesnt happen very often. food: amazing balanced breakfast that changes everyday - really delicious! onsen: the one on 2F was smaller than 1F, but very good and comfortable. clean too. you can book a private onsen room for 500yen (50mins) staff: all of them were super friendly, helpful and made me feel welcome. there are english-proficient staff available 24H as well :)

This hostel is in a building where beppu tower is located. It's clean and comfy 🙂 The female dorm room is big. Showers and toilets are clean, with free shampoo conditioner and shower gel provided for guests. There is paid washing machine and dryer to use. And on the 5 floor the guests can use sauna for free. Only negative point is there are cameras in the female dorm room.

喫煙の部屋に泊まりました。今時禁煙しかないから愛煙家なんで良かったです。 朝食も美味しくて食べ過ぎました。 ホテルの方たちもいつも笑顔で対応してくれて満足でした。

The place is a bit far from the Yufuin station. It was a long walk. Recommend to take a taxi which costs about ¥750. There are private and public onsen to choose from. The public one has better view. Dinner and breakfast were good.

Very convenient location, next to the JR station. The room is clean and there is a public bath. The hotel provides comfortable environment for tourist to relax

リピートで利用しています。 室内は割と清潔です。ユニットバスも不快な匂いもありません。綺麗に維持されているので、細かいパッキンの黒ずみ予備軍とかは定期的にメンテしてこれからも綺麗なホテルを保って欲しいです。大浴場もちょうど良い湯加減の快適なお風呂です。旅の疲れにとても有難いです。大浴場が快適なので、お部屋のお風呂は利用頻度が少ないのかもしれません。大浴場の前には、セキュリティボックスがあるので貴重品を入れて入浴できます。大浴場のコインランドリーの乾燥機も埃や糸くずがなく、綺麗でした。 駐車場は、第一であればホテルに近くて便利です。第二駐車場も、天候が悪くなければ、荷物があっても苦ではない距離です。 食事は和洋あり、美味しいと思います。朝、夜と食事が取れるのは助かります。部屋着とスリッパでも利用できるので便利です。
