Hotels met spa in North Sumatra, Indonesia

Dit is mijn vierde of vijfde verblijf in Medan. We blijven er normaal gesproken drie nachten of langer. De service en alles is perfect, er is niets op aan te merken. Het ontbijt voldoet altijd aan onze verwachtingen. Het bed is goed en zeer comfortabel. Ik kom in mei 2026 zeker terug.

Grand Sakura 4*Hotel is gunstig gelegen nabij Medan Centerpoint en het treinstation. Uitstekende faciliteiten zoals 2 restaurants, een balie voor het boeken van diensten, een balie voor het verkopen van weetjes, 2 liften en een team van vriendelijke conciërgemedewerkers gekleed in Indonesische Batik-uniformen. Het ontbijtbuffet (7-10 uur) bood goede Nasi Lemak en noedels. Probeer de gewone thee met suiker na een pittige maaltijd om het gehemelte te resetten. De standaardkamer is behoorlijk en heeft een koelkast, kluis, enz. Echter, een niet-verbonden WIFI als gevolg hiervan moest ik mijn 4G-data mobiele hotspot gebruiken voor mijn laptop en de stopcontacten op de kamer zijn schaars. In de buurt is een drukke en heerlijke eetgelegenheid (KUPI) die wordt gerund door de BAI-trein, waar u Indonesisch eten, DimSum en Westers kunt proberen. The location is excellent n it is right in the center of medan city. There is a big mall: delipark mall right opposite the hotel w Sogo as the anchor departal store. There r many eateries n cinema available on the top floor. The security of the hotel is very tight that makes me feel safe... The staff over there r there to welcome us to the hotel

We verbleven in Grand City Hall Medan voor een zakenreis en waren onder de indruk van het comfort en de efficiëntie. De locatie is centraal, de kamers zijn schoon en rustig en het personeel is professioneel. De uitstekende faciliteiten en snelle wifi maakten mijn verblijf productief en aangenaam. Een absolute aanrader voor zakenreizigers.

Karibia Hotel is located near the Kesawan area (the old city of Medan), making it easy to explore nearby attractions on foot. There are also plenty of artisan cafés around. If you’re here on a weekend, you can catch the car-free day event at Merdeka Walk, just a 5–10 minute walk from the hotel. Upon entering the lobby, you’re greeted with a pleasant scent that gives the hotel a luxurious vibe. The breakfast spread is quite good, featuring mostly Indonesian cuisine. The only downside is that there’s no smart TV. So if you’re planning a staycation and prefer to just stay in the hotel, it might not be ideal as there isn’t much to do; no swimming pool and no smart TV.

De algehele service is erg goed, maar in de ondergrondse parkeergarage zijn de agenten niet erg vriendelijk. Voor de faciliteiten graag controleren en nog eens controleren, want tijdens ons laatste verblijf werkte de ”kluis” niet, waardoor er geen gebruik kon worden gemaakt van de faciliteiten. Wij hebben dit gebrek niet aan de receptioniste gemeld, omdat dit onze rusttijd zou verstoren.

Centrale locatie. Het ontbijt is geweldig en vol afwisseling. Kamer is schoon en netjes modern. De grootste afknapper is de geluidsisolatie van de kamer. U kunt het lawaai van de weg horen, zelfs als uw kamer niet aan de straatkant ligt, evenals het lawaai van de buren. De sportschool moet zwaardere gewichten hebben (slechts 10 kg). Zwembad was klein en altijd overvol.

Room is huge and super clean. Toilet come with bathtub and shower in different cubicle. Absolutely posh. The breakfast is above and beyond. I really enjoy the food as the have so many different varieties and the breakfast also serve on the top floor where the view of the surrounding of medan is part of the meal. Just breathtaking! I would come to this hotel if i were to visit medan in near future!

Our 2 nites stay was comfortable. Fluffy pillow and great bed. Buffet breakfast on Sat morning was great but it was not that good on Sunday morning. Receptionist was very helpful and friendly.
