All round the Corinthia Budapest is a great hotel with good prices and excellent service from very friendly employees throughout the hotel. Excellent spar. Relaxed lounge areas. The bedroom on fifth floor was very nice clean and comfortable. The heating system is set at a high temperature which can become quite uncomfortable in the middle of the night. Loved the Christmas decorations and Christmas Sunday brunch with free flowing beverages.  Very tasty food in the restaurant. The only issues we would highlight is the problem with the hotel being so big that the breakfast restaurant gets very crowded with delayed self service causing the food to become cold by time you sit down. This is also due to many guests leaving the Bain Marie food service warmer lids open as they are rushing to get food. Also the coffee is machines are not good quality or require servicing as the coffee was warm or cold once milk or cream was added. This was the case everyday over 5 days we never got a hot coffee.  Hot food and drinks are very important and this was unfortunately the only let down during our stay.  Hence the reason for a lower review score.  Aside from this I would recommend the hotel.

De algehele indruk is goed. Het hotel is mooi, maar zou binnenkort een opknapbeurt nodig hebben omdat het oud is. De spa is fijn, er is een zwembad om in te zwemmen en nog twee verwarmde zwembaden om te ontspannen, samen met een jacuzzi en sauna's. Het ontbijt is uitstekend. Er is een ruime parkeerplaats, maar daar moet je voor betalen. Zo ga je niet met je gasten om, maar ik weet dat dat de gewoonte is in Boedapest, dus wat kun je eraan doen? 😀

Viersterrenfaciliteiten, vijfsterrenservice, zeer ouderwetse stijl (lof). De kamer is volledig uitgerust met allerlei benodigdheden (een verscheidenheid aan alcoholische en niet-alcoholische dranken en een gratis groot bord Zwitserse chocolade), en de selectie toiletartikelen is ook zeer stijlvol (ruikt erg lekker). Het meest ontroerende is dat er wegwerpslippers in de kamer aanwezig zijn, wat ondenkbaar is in hotels met een overeenkomstige prijs in andere Europese landen. Als er al tekortkomingen zijn, zou het kunnen zijn dat de kamerfaciliteiten relatief oud zijn en de ruimte niet groot. De gebreken zijn echter niet verborgen en het is nog steeds een hotel dat de moeite waard is om aan te bevelen. ps. Het hotel ligt zeer dicht bij het Capitool, het duurt ongeveer tien minuten lopen.

We hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad in het Lion's Garden Hotel! Het zwembad en de spa voelden als een privé-ontsnapping – we hadden het praktisch helemaal voor onszelf. Het personeel was vriendelijk en het hotel biedt de perfecte balans tussen elegantie en gezelligheid, met alle benodigde voorzieningen zonder al te veel geld uit te geven. Bovendien ligt het vrij centraal, waardoor het gemakkelijk is om veel van de topattracties van Boedapest te verkennen. Ik zou hier zeker weer verblijven!

Het hotel ligt in een rustige buurt, midden in de drukte van de stad. Het personeel bij de receptie was erg vriendelijk. De knappe man bij de receptie hielp me met het boeken van een taxi. De vrouw bij de receptie was erg mooi en attent. De kamer was schoon en hygiënisch. Het ontbijt was erg goed. Het is een heel goed hotel. Ik zou hier zeker weer verblijven als ik er nog eens heen zou gaan.

The hotel is clean, and the receptionists are very friendly. They provided me with a firm pillow, ensuring I had a good night's sleep. The breakfast is excellent, and they vary the dishes slightly each day. Highly recommend!

We are a family of 2 adults and 3 kids, we booked through trip.com 2 deluxe river view rooms, then I send the hotel and email asked for connected rooms, once I arrived the hotel 2 girls at the reception were too friendly they upgraded my rooms to the next level which was sea view with buda castle view and connected which is made my day, the hotel location is so great I just walked from the hotel to buda castle to the parliament to Margaret island then go back by Uber, directly in front of the hotel you can take boat trip, behind the hotel the fashion street full of cloths stores and restaurants, breakfast was good , amenities are not much but fair enough

Positive aspects: The cleanliness was superb. There was a varied and clean breakfast. It's a nice and elite hotel with friendly staff. Here are some things I think a hotel of this quality should have, but doesn't: There were no slippers, paper cups, plastic bags, or kettles, which are all standard amenities in a hotel. Slippers were sold for cash. If these were provided, the hotel would be a complete hotel.
